Robert Langdon is a professor called in by CERN to help solve the murder of one of there best scientists. CERN suspects the Illuminati but the Illuminati have been dead for over a thousand years. There only proof? He was branded on the chest with the symbol and its real. Robert Langdon then travels to Rome with the scientist's daughter Victoria to find the culprit befriend a priest and save some popes.

It's Dan Brown, of course its fantastic. But what I love is the pure intellect the settings and the history. Robert Langdon is a bachelor, middle-aged professor who lives in giant manor full of artifacts and books. Its look into science and religon, how it collides, disproves and proves.

Ventresca is a camerlengo and faithful.. servant? of the church and popes. He believes he special and meant to be great after being the only survivor of a fire with his parent in it in Sicily. As for appearance (according to Roberts description) he unlike most he dress in a plain black smock, no beads or anything. Has shaggy hair and youthfully handsome. He is a priest but insists he not holy just because he works in the popes office. He not shy and extremely assertive but kind and calm
