Will there be a change of time? How will you ensure the reader knows this?

Will you include a flashback or a flash forward?

Can you use foreshadowing in the beginning of your story to indicate something negative that will happen?

Cold you incorporate pathetic fallacy, where the weather reflects the mood of the story?

Will it be in a years time, 10 years time?

Will all of the hatchlings survive the trip?

Will one be left behind? What impact would that have on the reader?

Do they go back to the Galapagos?

How do they get there?

Will they undergo metamorphosis?

How could you describe this in the story?

Could the dragons be chased by the army trying to catch them with nets? (BFG inspiration)

What plot point will allow you to create tension in the story in order to keep the reader hooked?
