In line 2, Jack says, "... and with each new day/I can feel a change in everything". In this snip, he uses ETHOS by relating to his own experience, expressing that he can sense the changes in the world from day to day because of his perspective.

Jack also uses ethos at the end of the second verse when he says, "and as my mind begins to spread its wings/There's no stopping curiosity" In these lines, he is talking about how his mindset can metaphorically fly to help him explore more solutions and explore new things around him embracing his newfound curiosity.

The second half of that same line, "... reflections fade..." refers to the loss of memory of how things were original; however, the line "but in some ways, they remain the same" refers to the original parts shining through the changes that occurred. Jack uses PATHOS here to make the audience feel reminiscent of the changes around them. 

Later in the outro, Jack repeats the line, "Please don't go away" He is talking about how he doesn't want the feeling of being curious and creative to leave him. It is the most powerful line in the song because he is connecting to the audience in a way that makes them reminisce on a time when they were curious and adventurous; their creative mind flees with age, and they become more stubborn-minded. A more adult theme appearing in a song like this (written for children) makes sense in this context for Jack as his discography before this movie's soundtrack consists of challenging ideas that make you think deeper.
