No, I would not attend school 12 hours a day because it would be draining. NYCDOE should not adopt a 12 hour program option because I think it is perfect the way it is, and the kids might not like it.

No, I would never never never never never ever ever ever want to attend school for 12 hours a day. I would not want to go to school for 12 hours a day because.. 1. Students would be overworked and tired and then they wouldn't have enough energy to do things. 2. Students would probably have homework and when they get home they will have a bunch of homework to do and they won't have time to do it. 3. Students probably have other stuff to do than school. 4. Students will have less time to relax when they get home from school and then they will probably fall asleep in class the next day.

No, because 12 hours is too much and students will be overwhelmed by all the subjects. Lots of homework and no time for the park or free time. The school may provide free time but sometimes students want to go home and sleep or just play at home. Some schools can't provide arts, sports, music or dancing that's what students want.

I would not attend a 12 hour school day, because for some kids I feel it's easier for them to leave home at the time they are leaving already is tiring 12 hours is crazy. Students are already tired enough that would make them even more tired, and the school is also going to have to make the teachers work later. - Diana
