This page of the book caught my attention because the captain saved Eddie's life in the ugliest way, which was by shooting him in the leg so that he would not lose his life by entering the house where there was fire and as he tells him "Your case, it just so happened, you snapped in front of a fire about a minute before we were done with this place. I couldn't let you burn alive. I figured a leg wound would heal. We pulled you out of there, and the others got you to a medical unit." but in my opinion I feel that it was the worst way to save his life.😐
