My favorite annotation was was about the symbol of the burning church. I wrote that, "The church was Ponyboy and Johnny's hideout. It was a place of regret and reflection on their lives. I think when the church burned down it symbolized who the boys really were. When the church burned their true characters as good people finally emerged to the surface." This Is one of my best works because I felt I was very insightful about the church's symbolism. The Patricians were the wealthy, privileged upper class in early Rome. They were mainly aristocratic landowners who held most of the power. They also formed most of the Senate as well. The characters in Julius Caesar who were patricians were Caesar, Brutus, Cassius, Antony, Casca, and Octavius. Patricians always wore these items of clothing the toga, tunic, Loincloth, Belt, and Sandals. The toga was usually made from wool and was worn bu having it draped around the body. The tunic was under the toga. It was made from 2 pieces of undyed wool sewn together at the sides and shoulders. The tunic looks very similar to the modern day t shirt. The tunic was worn with belt,usually made from leather, to make the length of the tunic where it was just covering the knee. I think this was a very interesting project because I have never studied what people wore in ancient Rome.
