Christmas is getting close, the children are very excited because they think that"Father Christmas" will bring them a house, but that's not true. When Armand told them the truth the children were really sad. But Armand had brought them to a Christmas party for hobos, with free foods and mass. Armand prayed for a place to live. After Christmas the gypsies left because of the policeman's visit. Now the Calcets have no where to live. Armand decided to get a real job and rent a house for his "family". He became a house keeper for a Monsier, the payment is very low but they have a free house that is small but very sweer, it has kitchen and running water. Armand was very pleased and the Calcets moved in with him and lived happily.
3/20/16

For me, I personally loves little Suzy. She is the oldest child in the Calcet family, and she is always caring and loving. She treated everyone very nicely and she loved Armand as a grandfather. She loves her little dog Jojo, and she trated him so nicely. He took care of her brother and sister while her mother is at work, and she helps other people when she actually did not have enough food to eat. Unlike us little Suzy did not have a house. She lived under a bridge, during winter it is extremely cold. She did not complain and she is always very cheerful.
3/19/16

And this is book seems really classic and it is very old. I am always really interested in Paris and I want to read about it. My mom had read this book when she was young and she said she was really touched by the book and it made her cry once. And this book is a short novel, but it tells a story that seems to be never ending...

Armand is such a kind man and the children were so sweet and innocent. At first they had no home and had to live under the bridge, but at the end they had their own little house and real jobs. They might not be the riches family in Paris, but the happiest sweetest family ever.
3/20/16
