• Since it first day of usrah, we gotta introduce our names first and get to know each other. It is great to meeting all of them! ><

• So, our first class is talking about Adab in seeking knowledge

• It tells us how we a Muslim must uphold manners in everything we do, for an examples, performing acts of worship for Allah,like solat. We need to observe proper etiquette in our attire.

• Not only that,As a student we must respect our teachers, friends and staffs we must show good manners.

• And before we end our classes, every week each 3 person will share The practices they do in their life such as reading Hadith, Mathurat and excerpts of verses from the Quran that are practiced.

• We closed our session with tasbih kafarah and surah Al asr

• We are learning about hadith Jibril

• This hadith provides us with a clear understanding of the foundations of Islam, Iman, and Ihsan

• It strengthens a believer's faith and relationship with Allah S.W.T

• It emphasizes acting upon the five pillars of Islam which are faith, prayer, almsgiving, fasting, and pilgrimage as essential duties.

• While Ihsan inspires Muslims to strive for excellence in worship daily actions by being mindful of Allah's presence

• The hadith also highlights the value of seeking religious knowledge and clarity through questions and reflection.

• Therefore, we need to get rid of the shyness within ourselves when seeking knowledge.

Assalamualaikum and hiiii Soo today I learn about about relation surah Al-Fatihah to belief in Allah and the belief in Malaikat. So here is summary based on what I learn:

Summary of the Slide:

The slide explains two pillars of Iman:

1. Belief in Allah – Based on Surah Al-Fatihah*, highlighting Allah’s mercy, power, and guidance.

2. Belief in Angels– Based on Surah Al-Infitar, showing angels as watchers who record human deeds.

Understanding: Belief in Kutub & Its Connection to Allah & Angels

- Belief in Kutub (Holy Books) means accepting Allah’s revealed scriptures (Torah, Psalms, Gospel, and Qur’an*).

- Relation to Allah – The books contain His divine guidance.

- Relation to Angels – Angel Jibril delivered revelations, and other angels record human actions for judgment.

Conclusion:

Belief in *Kutub* strengthens faith in Allah and connects with angels, as they deliver and record His messages.

So today we are continue learning about another 3 pillars of Iman...from what I know now in Belief in the messenger in surah Nuh which tell us about prophet Nuh AS Prepare the ark on the mountain by the command of Allah SWT because there was a great flood that was going to happen but the wife and children of Prophet Nuh did not believe only a few of the people of Prophet Nuh AS followed him and safe...then belief in hereafter,there are 10 sign before The apocalypse is happening. Lastly, about qada' and qadar,qada' means Fate is determined by God and we cannot change it. While qadar means destiny that is determined but can be changed if we try.🤍

• Ihsan means doing everything with the awareness that Allah is always watching.

• We should try to do our best in every action, not just as a duty but with sincerity for Allah.

2. Sincerity (Ikhlas) in Worship and Good Deeds

• Every action and worship should be done to seek Allah’s pleasure, not for people's praise.

• Don’t let pressure or others' opinions change your good intentions.

3. The Importance of Solat (Prayer)

• Solat is a way to connect with Allah, as mentioned in the hadith: “Solat is the mi’raj of a believer.”

• The recitations in solat, like Attahiyyatu, make us feel as if we are standing before Allah.

4. Following the Sunnah in Daily Life

• Remembering and following the Prophet’s (SAW) way of life in small things like eating, drinking, and sleeping.

• The sunnah is not just extra practices but a way to feel closer to Allah.

5. Strong Faith (Iman Al-Tahqiqi)

• True faith means believing that Allah is always present and watching over us.

• In challenges or difficulties, we should rely on Allah rather than depending too much on people.

In summary, this slide teaches us to strengthen our faith, pray with sincerity, follow the Prophet’s teachings, and always seek Allah’s pleasure in everything we do. Living by these values will bring peace and meaning to our lives.

Our mind map is structured with five main sections:

• Definition – We started with a clear definition, explaining that eschatology revolves around the study of the end times and the ideas of heaven and hell. This sets the foundation for our discussion.

• Variations – We explored how different religions perceive heaven and hell. Despite differences, the common themes include moral behavior, belief in God, and accountability for one’s actions in the afterlife.

• Heaven – Described as a place of eternal peace, joy, and closeness to Allah SWT. It is reserved for the righteous and faithful and serves as a reward for those who lead virtuous lives and adhere to religious teachings.

• Hell – In contrast, hell is depicted as a place of punishment and suffering for those who lived sinful lives or rejected divine guidance. It emphasizes consequences for disobedience.

• Judgement– This section highlights the concept of ultimate judgment, where individuals are assessed based on their actions and faith during their lifetime.

As we finalized the poster, I felt a deeper appreciation for the diverse perspectives on the afterlife. The creative elements, including icons and illustrations, helped make our mind map more engaging. I’m proud of the teamwork displayed by my group members .

Today we are doing presentation regarding the poster that we have edit. Alhamdulillah it went well. We separated into 2 group 3 do eschatology and another 2 do Ihsan. OUH also we are the first group that have been choose to present first hehehe...a lil bit nervous but everyone give their full commitment.

I hope this usrah class will deepen my knowledge of Islam and allow me to discover valuable lessons and meaningful insights about my faith.

I also wish for this usrah class to include more interactive activities that bring us closer together and strengthen the sisterhood among us.

I am eagerly looking forward to the next usrah session, hoping that it will continue to inspire me and help me form stronger connections with my fellow usrah members.

A Journey to Becoming a Better Me

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on the person I am and the person I want to become. Islam teaches us that growth is a lifelong journey, and I know I have so much more to learn, to improve, and to give.

- I want to strengthen my connection with Allah, not just through prayer but through my heart—by trusting Him completely, seeking His guidance, and finding peace in His words.

- I hope to be kinder, more patient, and more understanding. Sometimes, life gets overwhelming, and I forget to pause and be grateful. But I want to change that. I want to appreciate the little moments, to be more present, and to reflect on the blessings I often take for granted.

- More than anything, I want to make my family proud—not just through achievements but through my character. I want to be someone who spreads love, who lifts others up, and who lives with sincerity and humility.

Every day is a new chance, and with Allah’s mercy, I will keep striving to be better.

Usrah is not just a class—it’s a safe space, a place where hearts connect and faith grows. To make it even more meaningful, I believe we can:

- Share personal reflections—stories of struggles and lessons learned—so we can support and uplift one another.

- Start each session with a moment of silence, letting our hearts be still before we dive into meaningful discussions.

- Include activities that help us bond, like writing letters to our future selves or expressing our gratitude for one another.

Faith is not just about knowledge; it’s about connection—with Allah, with others, and with ourselves. I hope usrah can continue to be a space where we feel heard, understood, and inspired to become the best versions of ourselves.

This week, I took moments to reflect on the beauty of Allah’s creation, feeling grateful for the trees, sky, and birds that serve as signs of His greatness.

Islam teaches us to care for the environment, so I contributed by picking up litter and reminding myself that cleanliness is half of faith (taharah nisf al-iman). I also became more mindful of water usage, following the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) advice against wastefulness.

Observing plants and animals in the garden, I recognized their role in glorifying Allah, inspiring me to protect them. I reflected on our dependence on Earth’s resources and committed to reducing plastic usage and waste. Watching a breathtaking sunset, I remembered the Qur’anic verse about the night and day’s succession as a sign for those who seek gratitude (Qur’an 25:62).

To end the week, I made a dua for the protection of nature and for humanity’s responsibility in preserving Allah’s creation, knowing that even small actions hold great value in His eyes.💖💚

This week, my group and I did a roleplay on eschatology and ikhlas. We acted out what happens after death and how sincerity matters in our deeds. It was fun but also a great reminder about faith. We had some laughs during practice, but in the end, we all reflected on our intentions. We wrapped up with a dua, hoping to stay sincere in everything we do. More than just an assignment, it was a meaningful experience for all of us.

🌟 Why Do We Worship? The Purpose of ʿIbādah

"And I did not create jinn and mankind except to worship Me."

(Surah Adh-Dhariyat, 51:56)

Allah clearly states that our existence has a divine purpose: to know, love, and submit to Him. Worship is the key to living a life that is aligned with fitnah (our natural inclination towards truth and goodness). Worship is not just a ritual; it’s a lifestyle. Every moment becomes meaningful when it's rooted in our relationship with Allah.

Acts of ʿibādah refine our akhlak, helping us become better Muslims, family members, and members of society.

❤ _Niyyah (Intention): The Soul of ʿIbādah

“Indeed, actions are judged by intentions, and each person will have what they intended…”

(Hadith Riwayat Bukhari & Muslim)

Without a sincere niyyah, our actions risk becoming empty routines. Niyyah ensures our worship is not just outward, but inward; it comes from the heart.

Niyyah transforms the ordinary into sacred: sleeping, studying, working, even smiling, all can become worship.

A pure intention also keeps us humble, focused on seeking Allah’s redha, not people’s approval.

📖 ʿIbādah Must Follow Qur’an & Sunnah

“And whatever the Messenger has given you – take; and what he has forbidden you – refrain from.”

(Surah Al-Hashr, 59:7)

True worship must follow what has been taught by Rasulullah ﷺ, not based on personal desire or inherited customs. Islam warns us against bidʿah (innovation) because it risks altering the pure message.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever introduces into this matter of ours that which is not from it, it is rejected.” (Hadith Sahih, Bukhari & Muslim)

Key point: The most beloved acts are those that are consistent, sincere, and rooted in authentic teachings, even if they are small.

🌿 Hikmah of ʿIbādah: What Does Worship Give Us?

Spiritual purification. Worship cleanses our hearts from arrogance, heedlessness, and attachment to dunya. Personal development teaches patience, gratitude, humility, and perseverance. Social harmony acts like zakat, salat in congregation, and kind speech uplift the community. Inner peace, knowing we are fulfilling our purpose, brings contentment that nothing else can offer.

“Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.”

(Surah Ar-Ra’d, 13:28)

✨ Final Reflection: Worship with Ihsan

“Worship Allah as though you see Him, and if you do not see Him, know that He sees you.”

(Hadith Jibril, Sahih Muslim)

This is the highest level of worship ihsan where our hearts are always aware of Allah’s presence, guiding every step and every decision.

Every command in Islam has a reason (hikmah) and a benefit for us both in this world and the hereafter. These four verses from the Qur’an show us the deep spiritual and practical wisdom behind key acts of worship.

🕌 1. Solat: Moral Guardrail

“Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing. And the remembrance of Allah is greater…”

(Surah Al-‘Ankabūt, 29:45)

Solat is more than movements, it’s a constant moral compass. Done with khushuʿ, it protects us from harmful behavior, refocuses us daily, and keeps our heart alive with Allah’s remembrance. A believer who prays sincerely will feel guilty before committing wrong. This is one of the solat’s greatest protections.

🌙 2. Fasting: Building Taqwa

“Fasting is prescribed for you… that you may become of those who have taqwa.”

(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:183)

Taqwa is to be constantly aware of Allah fasting trains us in this awareness. Through hunger, we remember those who suffer. Through restraint, we learn to control our nafs (ego). It’s a detox for the body, heart, and soul.

Hadith: “Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his past sins will be forgiven.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

💰 3. Zakat: Purifying Wealth and Heart

“Take from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them to increase…”

(Surah At-Tawbah, 9:103)

Zakat is not just charity, it’s spiritual purification. It cleans our hearts from materialism and greed.

It is an economic equalizer, ensuring that no one in the ummah is neglected. It reminds us: wealth is a trust from Allah, not a right.

🕋 4. Hajj: A Journey Towards Taqwa

“Take provisions, but the best provision is taqwa…”

(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:197)

Hajj is a physical and spiritual journey full of hardship, lessons, and beauty. It strips us of worldly labels: race, class, wealth. Through rituals like tawaf, wuquf, and saʿi, we relive the footsteps of the prophets and renew our submission to Allah.

Hadith: “Whoever performs Hajj and does not commit any obscenity or wrongdoing will return as a newborn baby (free from sins).” (Bukhari & Muslim)

🗓 This week’s reflection really touched my heart. I’ve been learning about Khushūʿ, that deep presence and sincerity in prayer. It’s not just about praying but truly feeling connected to Allah 💗.

✨ What is Khushūʿ to Me?

To me, khushūʿ feels like whispering my heart’s secrets to Allah ﷻ in complete stillness. It’s when my body, heart, and soul bow together 🤲🏼. No distractions, no rushing—just me and my Creator 💞.

💧 Before Ṣalāh

Now, before every prayer, I take a deep breath 🌬, make wudhu slowly 🚿, and remind myself: I’m about to meet Allah. I try to leave my worries outside the prayer mat 🧘🏻‍♀.

🕋 During Ṣalāh

I’ve been focusing more on the words I recite—really understanding them 🗣. When I say Allāhu Akbar, I try to feel His greatness in my heart 💓. In sujūd, I whisper my hopes and fears, knowing I’m the closest I can be to Him 🌙.

💭 After Ṣalāh

I try not to rush off. Sitting for a while, doing dhikr and letting the peace sink in 🕊. Khushūʿ doesn’t end with the salam—it’s something I want to carry with me throughout the day 💼🌤.

Sharing in usrah felt so comforting this week 🥰. We talked about distractions (hello, phone! 📱) and how each of us is trying to stay focused. So many good tips were shared—like pausing before takbir, learning meanings of surahs, and just being present. I felt so supported 💬💞.

🌹 Hikmah I’m Holding Onto

Khushūʿ isn’t about being perfect—it’s about trying. Every sincere effort brings me closer to Allah 💕. And in that closeness, my heart feels lighter, more peaceful. Truly, prayer with khushūʿ heals 💖.

Ḥajj teaches us to let go—for Allah. Whether it’s wealth, time, or pride, sacrifice is at its core. The story of Prophet Ibrāhīm عليه السلام reminds us: true love for Allah means full submission.

“The best provision is taqwā…” (2:197)

Our simulation made the meaning of Ḥajj feel real. We talked about how the spirit of sacrifice and submission can live on in our daily lives—even outside the season of Ḥajj.

Today was our final usrah session, and it was truly special. 💫 We ended on a light and joyful note by playing a fun Q&A game that brought lots of laughter and meaningful sharing. It was a beautiful way to reflect on everything we’ve learned together.

The highlight was definitely the Secret Santa gift exchange! 🎁 Everyone was excited and curious, and it felt heartwarming to see the thoughtfulness behind each gift. It reminded us of the love, connection, and sisterhood we’ve built throughout our usrah journey.

Though it’s the last session, the memories and lessons will stay with us. Alhamdulillah for this beautiful experience. May Allah bless our bond and keep us united in goodness always. 🤍✨
