         <description><![CDATA[<div>As part of problem solving after the problem is identified a solution or goal is usually set. In my current school we realized that our writing scores are not where we would like them. Team leaders get together monthly to look at the schools yearly goal or SMARTR goal and we set smaller goals to get to our yearly goal. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>RTI stands for response to intervention. It is a plan that targets students both academically and behaviorally. RTI provides early, systematic, and intensive assistance for children who are struggling academically and with behavior. The RTI process requires a lot of collaboration between staff members and goal setting. </div>]]></description>

This chapter focuses on the difference in roles between a general education teacher and a special education teacher.
