Introduction

These are a couple of the best ranked Symphonies so it came to a no surprise that nearly their entire repertoire consited on the classical canon. These classical compositions are both from two of the most brilliant minds in musical history. To the left Tchaikovsky's 5th symphony starts out with soft and slow moving melodies to later build up to a more sophisticated and powerful delivery of the timpanie and woodwinds; As expected from a work from Tchaikovsky it moves from emotion , exploring all extremes of the spectrum. As opposed to Tchaikovsky's 5th symphony, Beethoven opens his piano concerto No. 5, Emperor with a punch, and undeniable spectacular entrance. Beethoven does not lack in complexity either. Throughout the piece multiple instrument sounds clash together but in the end the majestic piano takes the price for its performance.

I actually enjoyed that both the Chicago Symphony and the San Francisco stuck to the classical canon because I enjoy classical music more than current music. Classical Music is very versatile so its more silly enjoyed at any given point of the day; where as Pop/rap, romantic, and rock are more appealing to a specific mood. I purposely picked songs within the classical canon because although there are other more modern performances, classical music is just more well rounded.
