For my final project, I’m making a movie poster that shows the shapes of a monster and a cowboy. Since it’s a poster, I don’t want to fully reveal the monster — just its silhouette to keep it mysterious. I’m also putting them face to face to create some tension, like they’re about to clash.

For this project, I created a set of characters inspired by the four natural elements: fire, earth, wind, and water. Each character reflects the unique qualities of its element through design, posture, and mood. When it came to the drawing process, I mainly used a hard brush and leaned into a sketchy, expressive style with minimal blending to keep the energy and texture visible. I also got support from my friend, who gave some guidance on adding texture and lighting, which helped bring more depth.Although the process took longer than expected, I learned a lot about different drawing styles and became more aware of the areas I need to improve.
