Absolutely fantastic description, and brought the medieval presence very strongly. Great use of similes and metaphors; added more value to the description. Punctuation is on point, however, sentence structure could be a little better. Try switching up the length of the sentences. Placing impactful sentences by themselves in a separate line will create more effect.
