         <description><![CDATA[<div>Blake believed the Church as responsible for the fragmentation of society, and the dualism characterising man's life. <br>To this dualistic view he had a vision based up of 'complementary opposites': good and evil, male and female. So he realized the editions of Songs of Innocence and Songs of Experience.</div><div>In the Songs of Innocence he explains that The Lamb is an innocence and harmony animal, and he asks himself  <strong><em>"who made thee?".</em></strong> There is so the identification of the lamb with Christ.<br>In the Songs of Experience the animal evoked is a tyger: a frightening and strong animal.  The poem ends with a question which casts a doubt on the possibility to understanding the universe.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Jane Austen and the theme of love and marriage </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Jane Austen writes about the oldest England, based on the possession of the land. In her stories people from different countries get married as a result of differents social classes.<br>Her most famous novel is <strong><em>Pride and Prejudice: </em></strong>the story tells about love of Elizabet and Darcy. When Darcy declares his love, he showing Elizabeth inferior social position, and he offends her pride. So, she accuses him of having prejudices, while he accuses her to be very proud.<br>At the end they get married, go over pride and prejudices. <br>I really like this novel beacuse LOVE has overcome obstacles and they have put away the negative parts of behavior.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Charles Dickens and children</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Charles Dickens had an unhappy childhood because his father was imprisoned for debt, and his brothers worked in a factory, joined him in the Marshalsea Prison.<br>The protagonist of his autobiographical novels,<strong><em>&nbsp;Oliver Twist,</em></strong>&nbsp;became symbol of a childhood confronted with the sad realities of slums and factories.<br>Oliver Twist is the novel that reflects the economic insecurity and humiliation Dickens experienced as a child. In fact, in London childrens worked and there were poor hygienic and economic conditions.<br>Oliver is a poor boy of unknown parents, he is brought up in a workhouse. In the city he meets the gang of young pickpockets, who make Oliver a thief; but the boy is helped by an old gentleman. At the end Oliver discover to have a noble origins.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Another novels of Charles Dickens is <strong><em>A Christmas Carol.<br></em></strong>Dickens called his novel 'a carol' since a carol is a song or ballad of joy celebrating the birth of Christ.<br>Mr. Scrooge is an old man who hate Christmas.<br>On Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his former buisiness partner, who died seven Christmas Eve before. Scrooge is also helped by three spirits: the ghost of past, present and future. Theese three spirits succeed in showing Scrooge the evils of his existence and give him a chance to change.<br>So, on Christmas morning he decided to send money to his worker's family and to spend Christmas in the company of his nephew, Fred.</div>]]></description>

The night is the most important setting, because darkness is the powerful element that helps to create an atmosphere of terror.</div>]]></description>
