         <title>           Major asteroid impact: 2 bya                                         The most kwoned asteroid impact are the Chicxulub impact and the Popigai impact. The Chicxulub impact was the impact that occured 65 millions years ago in the End of the Cretaceous Period. The impact created a large crater knowned as the &quot;The Chicxulub Crater&quot;. It is 93 miles wide and 12 miles deep. This impact created one of the biggest and massive extinction of dinosaurs called the KT boundary extinction. The second impact was about 35 millions years ago called the Popigai impact. The asteroid slammed into the area that is now known as the Taymyr Peninsula of northern Siberia, Russia. The asteroid size was between 5 to 8 killometers and the crater was 100 km in diameter and was between 150  to 200 meters. This impact created the Eocene Oligocene extinction event which was one of the seven deadly extinction in history</title>

The Jurassic constitutes the middle period of the Mesozoic Era and is named after the Jura Mountains, where limestone strata from the period were first identified.</title>

         <title>Mass extinction due to ice age 650 mya and 443 mya. Over 60 species and 86 % of living species like mammoth, mastodo, stag moose, giant beaver, and giant sloth died during the ice age,which last over 1 million years. The scientist are still arguing about the responsibility of the extinction and were mostly humans that killed every species that they saw.</title>

         <title>Mammals evolving: 200 mya Since the initial appearance of their synapsid progenitors in thePennsylvanian sub-period of the late Carboniferous period, mammalshave through a number of stages in their evolution. There werenumerous synapsid animals that resembled mammals by the middle ofthe Triassic. Synapsids from this time period include Dryolestes, whichis more closely connected to current placentals and marsupials than tomonotremes, and Ambondro, which is more closely related tomonotremes. The lineage leading to today&#39;s mammals split up in theJurassic. The eutherian and metatherian lineages then split apart;the metatherians are creatures that are more closely connected tomarsupials, whereas the eutherians are creatures that are more closelyrelated to placentals. Since the first known eutherian, Juramaia, existedin the jurassic period 160 million years ago, this divergence must havetaken place around the same period.</title>
