Question 1:

To me this quote means that war is what happens when all else fails such as lines of communications. When people/ countries don't communicate with each other, they often disagree. They try to show the other that their point is better, without trying to hear the other out. Then countries end up fighting with violence rather than trying to talk it out or compromise on a solution until it is already too late. At this point many lives have been lost and important things are now at stake.

Question 2:

I think that at some point war is bound to happen. I think this because in the past people have done sneak attacks such as Pearl Harbor and they didn't have a chance to talk it out before attacking. Similar to the quote when people don't communicate or don't find a compromise it often leads to war.

To me this quote means when countries don't speak to each other or don't communicate during an arguments is when war falls. When someone or a country tries to prove someone wrong, there is no communication in that. This means when there is no talking things through it leads to fighting, which leads to war. To me this shows the struggle that country's have to not discuss things before rushing to war.

War is bound to happen, this is because not every country will agree on everything. If that were the case then everything would be perfect. The lack of talking or trying to agree with other countries, is because every country forces everything to go there war. In that case war is bound to happen at some point because everyone wants different things for there country.

1: To me this means, war starts due to the lack of communication between different countries. Some countries might think other than the other which creates confusion, and sometimes war. It also could mean that when communication breaks down, war goes with it.

2: I think that in some point in life, war is inevitable. This only occurs due to the miscommunication between countries. Compared to past experiences with attacks and especially sneak attacks like Pearl Harbor, people don't really talk to the country before fighting, they don't choose to think before they act. They just start a war, because they think it is the best thing they could do.

1.) To me this quote means that when people say the wrong things, or something that offends another like a lack of communication and misunderstanding it causes problems between each other. As if war is the solution to something that was said wrong by someone else. I also think that it means when for example a country trys to agree upon something but the other country doesn't like the idea or agree with the words that were said, their idea is to just battle it out instead of trying to talk things out and actually communicate.

2.) I do think that war is avoidable I don't think its just bound to happen because there are definitely ways around it. If countries just tried hard enough to agree upon something they could avoid battling each other for a final result. War is not something that is meant to happen it happens when there is a large disagreement if there were no disagreements or compromises between the countries war may not even take place.
