27/8: The only reason people work hard is to earn more money. There are no other reasons to do it. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

🟥𝓕𝓮𝓮𝓭𝓫𝓪𝓬𝓴 ✨TR: 7.0; CC: 6.5; VC: 6.5; GR: 6.0✨

Having a job is seen as a key pathway to better future <s>prospect</s> 💥 gr prospects, with the idea <s>of the sole reason for working is</s> 💥 gr: dùng giới từ "of" ko hợp lý mà e. Đảo lại là "that the sole reason people work is..." -> that the sole reason people work is money money sparking debate. Some view it as essential for maintaining the standard of life, while others <s>is</s> 💥 gr: -> are are skeptical. Critics highlight that there are a multitude of factors motivating individuals to work hard. I believe that while working hard for money is one of the foremost reasons for individuals, not everyone should be <s>equate with that reasons</s> 💥 gr: đây là "be equated with" chứ ko phải equate, "reasons" thì chia thành số ít chứ ko phải số nhiều -> equated with that reason equated with that reason.

The case for going to work is most compelling when we consider the enthusiasm that simply cannot be replicated outside of <s>individual's</s> 💥 gr: thiếu từ "an", e ạ -> an individual’s an individual's soul. <s>These setting</s> 💥 gr: đây ko phải số nhiều mà là số ít, với cả "setting" ko hợp lý. "Work environment" thì đúng hơn. -> This setting This setting, especially <s>employees</s> 💥 sp: employees ko hợp lý. E đang mô tả workers chứ ko phải môi trường của nhân viên -> for workers, plunges the experience <s>feelings</s> 💥 gr: lặp từ e, "the experience" là danh từ chung rồi, ko cần feelings -> experience of of boredom and stress, satisfying their passion for <s>career</s> 💥 wc: career nói chung thì ổn nhưng chỗ này nghe cụ thể hơn nên dùng "their careers" -> careers careers. Added to this are the desire to contribute to society which, by all account💥 sp -> by all accounts, are beyond compare. We need look no further than the case of firefighters to see their <s>impacts</s> 💥 gr: số nhiều nhưng firefighters là danh từ chung, nên dùng số ít -> impact impact. Being one of the most dangerous jobs, firefighters are willing to help people even if their life <s>will be detrimental</s> 💥 wc: "detrimental" sai nghĩa rồi e, phải là "at risk" -> even if their lives are at risk are at risk. So we should not equate everyone going to work for money, <s>if we do that, psychological problem will be appeared</s> 💥 gr: "psychological problems will be appeared" sai ngữ pháp, ko dùng bị động như này -> psychological problems will appear problems will appear.

Conversely, we cannot deny the <s>crucial</s> 💥 wc -> importance importance of money in life, often tied to the intensity <s>work</s> 💥 gr -> of work of work. Money is the <s>mean</s> 💥 wc -> means means to fulfill the basic needs in life such as clothes, food, utility bills, making ends meet. Yet, this assumption is superficial. In reality, even if increasing the quantity of work, it is not <s>a guaranteed having</s> 💥 gr -> guaranteed to have guaranteed to have high work productivity. <s>In this light of that</s> 💥 wc -> In light of that, workers are more likely to have accidents.

🟥TR: 7.0
Ví dụ, câu "Critics highlight that there are a multitude of factors..." chỉ nêu vấn đề nhưng chưa cụ thể hóa được những yếu tố đó là gì. E có thể mở rộng thêm những yếu tố khác ngoài tiền, như "self-fulfillment, recognition, or a sense of duty to community."

🟥CC: 6.5
Gợi ý của cô là: "While passion plays a significant role in many cases, the financial aspect cannot be overlooked. In this light, money is undeniably..."

🟥VC: 6.5

Ví dụ, thay vì viết "if we do that, psychological problem will be appeared", có thể viết "Should we continue to think this way, psychological problems are bound to emerge."

🟦 Hook and Engagement: E có thể mở bài bằng câu gây tranh cãi, ví dụ: "Money might be at the forefront of everyone’s mind, but the true motivation behind work often lies beneath the surface."

▌ꪑకꪶꪗỉꫀꪶᡶక _𝒽𝓊𝑜𝓃𝑔𝓁𝓎.𝒶𝓂𝓈@𝑔𝓂𝒶𝒾𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝓂 ▌
══════════════════════nn════

A notable trend is that housing dominated the spending distribution across all countries except Japan, where food took the lead.

In detail, the United States allocated 26% of its spending to housing, the highest among all categories, while spending on clothing was the lowest at just 4%. For transportation, food, and health care, the US figures were 18%, 14%, and 8%, respectively. Similarly, the United Kingdom showed the highest spending on housing, though its expenditure on health care was the lowest at 2%. Interestingly, the UK spent twice as much on food (20%) as on transportation (10%).

In Canada, the same pattern of housing expenditure dominance was observed, with health care again receiving the lowest share. Japan, however, prioritized food expenditure, which accounted for 23%, slightly higher than housing at 22%. Health care was also the least prioritized category in Japan, at just 4%.

PART 2:

•────────•°𓆩☀️𓆪°•────────•

I used to get a kick out of (rất thích) going to the market with my grandma—something I don’t do much anymore—but even now, I’m still blown away (ấn tượng) whenever I think about her. In Vietnamese culture, there’s this thing with haggling (mặc cả) whenever you pay for something (you’ll mostly see this with the older generation), and my grandma was no exception. I still remember holding her hand as we strolled through the market. When we got to the fish stall, she’d take her time sizing up (kiểm tra kĩ lưỡng) each fish, chatting with the vendor for a while about the sales that day: “Did you sell much today?” “How much is this fish?”

Then came the part that always blew my mind (khiến tôi kinh ngạc): the price negotiation. Since I was just a kid back then, what stuck with me the most was how after a little “abracadabra,” the price of the fish magically went down (giảm giá). Even now, I’m still thinking, “My grandma’s a real pro (cao thủ) at this!”

For most folks in Vietnam, getting a good deal at the market is pretty standard. But now that I think about it, sometimes going all in for a discount (cố mặc cả) can actually be a bit of a hassle for the sellers. Like, if they agree to lower the price for one person, the next person who hears about it comes along and demands the same deal, which might leave the seller in the red (lỗ vốn).

In any case, after that day, my grandma would still take me to the market now and then. But sadly, these days, with school and everything, I don’t really get to go with her as much anymore. It’s a shame, really (thật tiếc).

P3:

Why do you think some people prefer shopping at street markets over supermarkets?

In Vietnam, people really love shopping at street markets, mainly because it's cheaper, and the produce is fresher. Supermarkets, on the other hand, sometimes sell stuff that's been sitting around for days. Tuy nhiên, với tôi việc mua ở chợ sẽ gặp bất lợi vì sự đa dạng hàng hóa. But for me, shopping at markets has its downsides—there's often less variety. Đôi khi ở chợ sẽ không có đầy đủ hàng chúng ta cần như ở siêu thị. Sometimes, you just can't find everything you need at a market like you can at a supermarket.

What are some advantages and disadvantages of buying items at street markets?

Tôi nghĩ là đầu tiên là liên quan tới giá cả. First off, price is a big one. Việc mua ở chợ mọi thứ chắc chắn sẽ rẻ hơn, thậm chí có thể mặc cả về giá mua, đây là điều mà không thể làm ở siêu thị. You can always get things cheaper at the market and even haggle, which is impossible in a supermarket. Plus, let's face it, the stuff at street markets is fresher since it's often straight from the source. Tuy nhiên, với tôi, như tôi đã nói ở trên, việc mua ở chợ sẽ gặp bất lợi vì sự đa dạng hàng hóa. However, like I mentioned earlier, the downside is the lack of variety. Thậm chí, hàng chúng ta đã mua ở chợ nếu chất lượng có vấn đề -> ko thể trả lại, đổi như ở siêu thị. And let’s not forget, if the quality’s bad, there’s no return policy like in supermarkets.

How can street markets contribute to the local economy?

Thứ nhất, tôi nghĩ street market sẽ nói lên về văn hóa ẩm thực của khu vực đó -> điểm unique càng thêm thu hút khách du lịch tới. First off, street markets really showcase the local food culture, which draws in tourists. Just look at Thailand with its bustling, affordable street markets—those places are tourist magnets! Plus, they create jobs, helping many folks make their daily bread. All of this boosts the local GDP too, which is always a win-win.

What are some common items people buy at street markets in your country?

Shopping at markets is so deeply embedded in Vietnamese culture that there's a huge variety of stuff to buy. Tuy nhiên nếu phải chọn, tôi nghĩ rau củ là common goods ở Việt Nam. But if I had to pick, I'd say veggies are the most common thing people buy. In my area, you’ll find way more vegetable stalls than meat or fish vendors. Clothes are another big hit with tourists, especially traditional stuff like the 'ao dai' and 'non la'.

Do you think street markets are becoming more or less popular? Why?

Back in the day, street markets were the go-to, but now? Not so much. With the rise of e-commerce, going out to shop seems like a waste of time. I mean, why bother when you can just order on Shopee or Lazada? That said, in Vietnam, I don’t think street markets will lose their charm anytime soon—it’s part of who we are.

This essay will analyze these views before giving my opinion, which argues that the key lies not in a one-size-fits-all approach, but rather in the decision made based on personal priorities.

Advocates of restricting the number of students in language classes often highlight the teacher's attention to students that smaller classes can bring <s>to the support their argument</s> 💥 wc: gì thế -> to support their argument. They argue that this setting is more enriching in comparison <s>with the foreign classes without controlling the number of students</s> 💥 spdài và ko rõ ý -> with large, uncontrolled class sizes. <s>By joining a class which is not being restricted the quantity of students, they say, cannot be influenced to the results</s> 💥 gr: chỗ này lủng củng -> Joining an unrestricted class, they argue, does not influence the results if the teachers still concentrate on students but <s>does little to paying perfectly attention to students or have attentively students</s> 💥 gr -> do little to pay perfect attention or stay attentive. To see this, we need not look further than the case of successful advertisements about <s>the 1-1 classes</s> 💥 sp: mình ko nói 1-1 class, nói "one-on-one classes" e ạ in some English centers like DOL and IELTS Fighter. CÁCH DẪN CHỨNG KO THUYẾT PHỤC, KHÔNG DÙNG VD ĐƠN LẺ ĐỂ SUPPORT LUẬN ĐIỂM. These visionaries, concentrating on limiting students in one class, proved that <s>the experiences in this type of class can catapult one to success</s> 💥 wc: ko tự nhiên, nên sửa -> these classes can help catapult students to success. Even if it means <s>taking a huge notice</s> 💥 wc: awkward e ạ -> requires close attention, the journey to success still attracts many.

On the contrary, the case for not paying attention <s>on</s> 💥 prep: sai, phải là "to" the number of students in foreign language classes is most compelling when we consider the diverse methods <s>, that cannot be replicated</s> 💥 gr: dư dấu phẩy rồi em -> that cannot be replicated outside of a structured academic environment. This setting allows teachers to apply a multitude of learning methods, diversifying the approach to knowledge. Added to this are the competitive environments <s>which, by all accounts, are beyond compare</s> 💥 -> which are, by all accounts, beyond compare. A telling example is the environment in foreign classes in some schools in Hanoi, where students <s>concentrate in the classes</s> 💥 wc: lạ lắm e, sửa cho tự nhiên -> focus well in class. On a psychological level, these classes incentivize students to study as hard as their classmates.

In conclusion, in this era where foreign languages are indispensable, learning a new language is a universal issue. <s>In light of that, I hold the notion that only determining the learning styles which is suitable for individuals can we set ourselves on course for a effective result.</s> 💥 gr: câu rườm rà -> I believe that only by finding suitable learning styles can we ensure effective results.

VD: "Advocates of smaller classes argue that teachers can provide more individualized attention, fostering stronger language skills and tailored feedback. This focused interaction allows students to engage more deeply with the material and participate more frequently in lessons, ultimately contributing to a more immersive learning environment."

individualized attention (thay vì “teacher's attention”)

peer learning (thay vì “competitive environment”)

tailored feedback (thay vì “attentive students”)

VD: "The tailored feedback provided in smaller classes ensures students receive direct and constructive input on their progress."

🟥 GR: Ngữ pháp của e ổn nhưng có một số lỗi về chia động từ và giới từ.
In many countries, the quality of life in large cities is becoming worse/ What do you think are the causes of this problem? What measures could be taken to solve it?

🟥𝓕𝓮𝓮𝓭𝓫𝓪𝓬𝓴

✨TR: 6.5; CC: 6; VC: 6.5; GR: 6✨

The poor standard of life is a growing concern, and questions about its root causes have been looming large. Therefore, it is crucial to take action to tackle the issue, and all <s>shareholders</s> 💥 wc: từ này không phù hợp vì nói về người góp vốn, nên thay bằng 'stakeholders' , including policymakers, investors, and the general public, have a role to play <s>this</s> 💥 gr: thiếu giới từ, nên viết 'in this regard'.

The downward quality of life is rooted in a complex interplay of factors, but it is mainly attributed to social pressure, if not urbanization. It is social pressure that <s>fails to escalate</s> 💥 wc: từ này không phù hợp vì 'escalate' nghĩa là tăng mạnh; nên dùng 'fails to improve' the standard of life. Having competed against other individuals, people are likely to be under pressure in a multitude of criteria such as rewards, scores, careers, and wages, in stark contrast with the older generation, <s>in which their environment don't have to notice severely on these problems</s> 💥 gr: câu này khó hiểu; nên viết lại là 'whose environment did not place such severe emphasis on these issues'. These criteria, irrefutably, are <s>a stereotype</s> 💥 wc: 'stereotype' không phù hợp; nên dùng 'a set standard' to acknowledge being a "successful person" in this society, but individuals are immersed in it. People, sadly, are always hungry for a better job or to attend prestigious universities. As a result, should people <s>stuck in</s> 💥 gr: cần dùng 'be stuck in' this phenomenon, psychological problems are bound to emerge, which will plummet the standard of life.

In addition, urbanization also creates a worse quality of life. The influx of people from rural areas <s>seeking for convenient life migrate urban</s> 💥 gr: câu này diễn đạt rời rạc, nên viết lại 'seeking a more convenient life migrate to urban areas'. This setting, undeniably, creates overcrowded cities <s>having a deficiency in quality facilities, accommodations</s> 💥 gr: nên viết lại là 'with a deficiency in quality facilities and accommodations.'.

At the heart of the combat against the decrease in quality of life is the need for a happier life that prioritizes altering some old-fashioned opinions and enacting new legislation on migration. People should ensure that individuals don't have to endure <s>the old-fashioned criteria</s> 💥 wc: cụm từ này không tự nhiên, nên viết 'outdated standards' in any situation. Furthermore, policymakers must take action to decrease the quantity of migration, with rules encouraging people to develop in their hometowns, plus <s>concessionary</s> 💥 wc: từ này không rõ nghĩa trong ngữ cảnh, có thể thay bằng 'incentives'..

In conclusion, the quality of life, which has plunged, is a problem that affects most, if not all, people worldwide. Policymakers, investors, and the public must take action, but it will take a collective effort to make the most significant impact.

Some people believe that it is a good idea that old people continue to work if it is possible for them to do so. Do you agree or disagree.

🟥𝓕𝓮𝓮𝓭𝓫𝓪𝓬𝓴
✨TR: 6; CC: 6; VC: 5.5; GR: 5.5✨

Whether it is for the <s>social economic growth</s> 💥 wc: -> socio-economic growth or the <s>deficiency of employees</s> 💥 wc: dùng từ 'deficiency' không phù hợp vì mang nghĩa là sự thiếu hụt nghiêm trọng hơn so với cần, nên chuyển thành 'shortage' sẽ hợp lý hơn the importance of increasing the <s>amount</s> 💥 gr: 'amount' dùng cho danh từ không đếm được, nên ở đây phải dùng 'number' vì workers là đếm được of workers is undisputed. However, when it comes to the <s>elderly labors</s> 💥 wc: không nói 'labors' ở đây mà là 'laborers' vì đang nói về người lao động, the debate <s>have been particularly intense</s> 💥 gr: động từ phải chia số ít vì 'debate' là số ít -> has been particularly intense. Proponents argue that hiring elderly workers <s>are bound for plummeting the productivity</s> 💥 gr: 'are' không chia đúng, và cụm từ này không tự nhiên -> will inevitably lower productivity. Nevertheless, I completely disagree with that notion in the light of their experience and the satisfaction of elderly people.

The irreplaceable knowledge and experience <s>is most compelling</s> 💥 gr: knowledge và experience là danh từ số nhiều -> are most compelling when we consider the recruitment of elderly people that <s>simply cannot be replicated outside of a economic environment</s> 💥 wc: -> cannot be replicated outside an economic environment. <s>It stands to reason that the old workers also define as senior employees who have a lot of respect coming from everyone</s> 💥 wc -> Older workers are often respected as senior employees with vast experience. Their experience <s>has accumulated for a long -time period</s> 💥 wc: không tự nhiên, cụm 'for a long time' không cần gạch nối -> has accumulated over a long period of time. Such experience can feasibly tackle any tough issue in a perfect way. <s>We need look no further than the case in 2020 when the workforce reduction has been a trend in the light of Covid-19</s> 💥 gr: chia không hợp lý, nên dùng quá khứ đơn cho hành động đã hoàn thành -> We need look no further than 2020 when workforce reduction became a trend due to Covid-19. A multitude of young workers <s>have fired</s> 💥 gr: câu bị thiếu động từ bị động -> were fired instead of those who are seasoned. Without seasoned workers, a company is <s>not inclined to be a up-and-coming company</s> 💥 wc: 'not inclined' không tự nhiên -> unlikely to become an up-and-coming company.

Added to this, the satisfaction of working <s>with age, which by all counts, is beyond compared</s> 💥 gr-> as one grows older, is beyond compare. To be specific, nowadays, old people have a high self-esteem, therefore, <s>should individuals define them as a burden, it is a offence</s> 💥 gr: lỗi chia câu, phải chia lại với 'if clause' -> if individuals define them as a burden, it is an offense. Besides, not only <s>do work in the old age incentivise to seek for intrinsic pleasure</s> 💥 gr -> does working at an old age incentivize them to seek intrinsic pleasure but it also opens <s>up to all of the possibilities to do well financially</s> 💥 wc -> opens up many possibilities to do well financially. <s>Aftermath</s> 💥 wc: 'Aftermath' chỉ dùng cho thảm họa hoặc tai họa, nên sửa thành -> As a result, their inner world is likely to be satisfied, plus it is <s>a incidental</s> 💥 gr: -> an incidental benefit for <s>the social economic growth</s> 💥 wc: phải sửa thành 'socio-economic growth' như ở trên. <s>Telling the example is in Japan in which there is a lot of restaurants, hotels owning by elderly people</s> 💥 gr: -> Take Japan as an example, where many restaurants and hotels are owned by elderly people.

Conversely, the argument against <s>the acceptance for people working in the old age</s> 💥 wc: câu này không tự nhiên, sửa thành 'accepting older people working' -> accepting older people working is rooted in the percentage of unemployment <s>in young generation</s> 💥 gr: dùng sai 'in' và thiếu mạo từ -> in the younger generation. To be specific, there is a correspondence between the increase in old workers and the reduction <s>in</s> 💥 gr: dùng sai giới từ -> of young employees. <s>Yet, this assumption is superficial</s> 💥 wc: -> However, this assumption oversimplifies the issue. In reality, even if the older generation works with the younger ones, <s>there is no guaranteed that</s> 💥 gr: -> there is no guarantee that young workers <s>might be replaced due to</s> 💥 gr: cần dùng thì tương lai ở đây -> will be replaced because of their creativity, innovation, and - the most prominent value - their long-term contribution.

In conclusion, in this era where the phenomenon of hiring <s>old people to work is familiar with individuals and companies</s> 💥 wc -> elderly workers has become familiar to individuals and companies. In light of that, I hold the notion that this is a positive trend.
