I've recently been using an "alphaladder" a lot. It's a good tool to boost literacy in any subject area and a handy resource to have as a relief teacher that can be pulled out to fill in gaps in a wide range of lessons, when there isn't a lesson plan provided or there is but it doesn't take up a full lesson.
The alphaladder is simply a list of letters in order with space for students to write a term they've recently learned and defined it. Kids fill in as many as they can think of off the top of their head, and can then ask others or use their notes to fill in even more.

I laminate these and use them with students in groups to sort into the correct catergories.

There are a number of different templates available online (through a Google search), or students can make their own as an activity in itself! I find it really useful to have these sitting on the students desk for whenever they need them more generally too.

One resource that I regularly use to find other resources is Scootle. Everything is there because of its connection to the Australian curriculum and I find it a good jumping off point when starting a new area. It also helps me to gage what is age appropriate and what is not.
Another resource that I love and I use it mainly as a filler is Dust Echoes. They are short animations about traditional Aboriginal stories. I am yet to be in any primary classroom where this resource has not entirely captivated the classes attention. Sometimes it is just a good way to get to the class to calm down.

I know this is a very simple resource; however, I find that it is invaluable in supporting number concepts in the early years. Students are then able to refer to it when working on addition, subtraction, more than and less than, as well as an array of other concepts. Students enjoy this resource as they feel confident in using it and they can access it whenever they wish, not just during formal maths lessons.

A resource I have just begun using is QR codes as we have access to ipads in my school. They are fantastic for engaging students and saving time finding websites or typing in addresses. I recently used this website: http://www.qrstuff.com/ to create links to websites on landmarks in South America for HASS. I also had a sheet with videos on these websites for students who finished early and could watch informative videos at the end of the lesson. The students use a QR reader app on the ipads which uses the camera to scan the code and links the ipad to the website.

I use Kahoot! regularly on our iPads - it is not only engaging, it is a fantastic way to assess students and you can even download the Excel file afterwards. I also like to use Scootle, being curriculum-aligned. In a remote community such as ours, the best resources are local people! Particularly when teaching HASS subjects. This also helps me to make my teaching culturally sensitive and meaningful. I also love the visible learning resources available at TeachStarter, and refer to the success criteria and learning intention each lesson/week and then check it off or reevaluate at the week's end. I find BBC Bitesize to be useful for Numeracy videos and interactive quizzes, while 'My Place' is an incredibly useful tool for teaching Australian history.

I have used DOJO - a behaviour 'guidance' (management) resource. You can access this for free, downlaod on to your phone for mobile access ( such as while you walk to the library and during library), you can share with your relief/DOTT teachers to use when they are in your classroom, parents/carers can access the app and get notifications that 'ping' when their child is being rewarded or their behaviour being 'shaped' (needs to follow instructions). Students can access their character and can swap points for clothes/accessories if they have internet access. Our school is in the process of developing/deciding upon a whole school agreement/approach to the language used for the points so that the school's NED and PBS programmes and promoted and supported. It will be a bit of work to get up and running but the app/program itself is easy to use and I like the idea that parents can access their child's account to view daily activity during school hours.
