First of all our teachers are role models on online behaviour of our students. E safety policy of our school have been prepared and posted on our website. As teachers we don’t take photographs of students and don’t post them on social media parent permission form. We teach students how to use the internet safely and point they should take into consideration while searching on the net for their homeworks. We turn on our smart boards by using one time pads only teachers can get. Our school counseling service often gives a seminar about cyber bullying and e-safety for our students, parents and school staff. By this way we make our teachers be role models to our students. We teach e-safety and give examples. We prepare e-safety boards with the help of students’ searches and studies and we update them in time. We celebrated ‘The Safer Internet Day’ in our school since 2018. We prepared posters, organized boards and made students watch videos about the safer internet during the week. We prepared ‘The safer Internet Day’ brouchers and delivered them to our students.

   In our school’s strategic plan, e-safety policy is in place. Our school has interactive board and Fatih access network in all teaching areas. We  generally use Eba education portal while teaching. Fatih access network is used with network firewall. We share the data on our school website in a controlled manner. 

It is forbidden to use IT devices during lessons and working hours  as long as they are not within aprroved and directed curriculum based activity. We obey the circular of National Education Ministry  which is “The Usage Of Social Media At Schools” (2017/12)

In our school, it is forbidden for parents and staff to take and publish photos in accordance with the meb's circular ‘social media use in schools’. Teachers can take photos or make videos with the permission of parents when starting projects and studies. In e-twinning projects, we take care not to show student faces on the Eba news.

All our teachers and the administrative staff have taken educational course of the Fatih Project, “The Usage of Information Technologies and the Internet safely” .We share what we have learned with each other.

Our community teachers provide students with curriculum adapted              e-security information about research or information sharing.

Our school counselling service organizes workshops about cyber bullying, e-safety, the proper and safe usage of ICT. We prepare leaflets and distribute them to the parents. We exhibit the works related to e-safety on our School Counselling noticeboard.

Our school teachers receive distance and face to face training about cyber bullying and the proper and safe usage of ICT organized by Ministry of National Education. Our ICT teachers conduct seminars of internet ethics, e-safety and digital citizenship every year.
