At age 11, he set his first world record, the 11-year-old 5,000-meter record on the track. Last year, he broke the 12-year-old boys' 5K record on the road.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Who: Shaquem Griffin<br>What: He had one hand and coaches said football is a sport for 2 hands and his brother Shaquill Griffin let him play football in the NFL draft.&nbsp;<br>When: He was 8 years old the first time he was held out of a football game. A coach for an opposing team made the comment about needing two hands.<br>Where: University of central Florida.&nbsp;<br>Why: He wanted to prove people wrong&nbsp; that a person can with one hand can also play football.&nbsp;</div><div>Quote 1) "Kids with same thing as Shaqeum Griffin are trying the sports they want to because he did."<br>Quote 2) "I didn't care, I was going to play football regardless, Once the surgery had been completed, I knew I was going to play again, the pain was gone." It didn't hurt when the ball hit his hand.<br>Quote 3) Griffin, the Central Florida linebacker, has done that and more, vanquishing even more doubters with attention-getting performances last weekend that led him to become the best story at this year's NFL combine.</div>]]></description>
