2. The religions of Bangladesh are Islam, Hindu, and others such as Christianity and Buddhism. Each of these religions can be found in most every place where there are human settlements.

3. There are only two definite religions that are monotheistic: Islam and Christianity (Surprise surprise...).  Hindu has many varieties of god(s), and some versions of Hindu are monotheistic.  Buddhism is not monotheistic. The religions of this region are very important, thanks to the "developing country effect," where religion is all aspects of life. The sacred text of Christianity is the Bible, Islam's holy book is the Koran, Buddhism's holy book is the Tripitaka, and the holy book of Hindu is the Vedas.  In Bangladesh, there are temples of worship for most every religion where prominent enough for the people.

Folk culture allows for certain traditions, such as young women dancing traditionally to music in the countryside. Drama and theater is a big part of Bangladesh culture, and is a way of life there. One of the most important features of this folk culture is the clothing of people all over Bangladesh. Tradition wear is more important than most anything to the Bangladesh culture. For example, women wear Saris, which are expensive quilt-workings.
Popular Culture in this country would consist of people listening to music from around the world, as well as people in Bangladesh adopting western lifestyles, such as clothing types.

In the near future, water levels will rise, flooding and destroying a lot of Bangladesh, forcing 18 million people to move out of the path of danger. A lot of people in Bangladesh rely on farming in order to make a living, but with Global Warming on the table, people will be out of work, creating widespread poverty among Bangladesh’s population.
