Ninja used to be one of the most influential fortnite content creators from when the game first released. Millions would watch Ninja partner with other big name streamers and enter tournaments to try and win them. His popularity was so widespread he partnered with multiple brands to promote their items.

Double Pump used to be one of the most popular ways to engage in close quarters combat as even a newbie could find some success with this style of gameplay. After double pump was nerfed, people rushed to find a new way to gain the upper advantage over others in the game, the result was : spamming. Spamming is when you have a weapon and full-auto your opponent's walls to try and get within close quarters. Ever since Fortnite has released, there have been weekly updates adding, removing, or replacing items. This caused the game to be very dynamic at first release but many think it has made the story line very confusing and hard to follow.
