After you have received your Access NI clearance, Glencraig will provide you with a Certificate of Sponsorship to apply for a UK Charity Worker visa. The cost of the visa is £340 visa and you will also have to pay an additional Health surcharge of £1,035. There can also be additional costs to pay for an appointment to check your documents and have health checks.

Please note that as part of the visa application process you do not need £1,270 savings in your bank account. The Camphill Community Glencraig as an A-rated sponsor will certify your maintenance, however you need to be aware that you are not able to claim public funds whilst in the UK.

Stage 2 Online Interview

If your application is successful you will be invited to participate in an online interview.

Access NI Check

Before you complete your UK visa application you will need to complete an Access NI application (the criminal record check for Northern Ireland) and provide specified documents to Glencraig.

Information about people who will provide your references

In the application form you will need to provide the contact details of 2 people who will provide your reference. Ideally it should be someone who supervised you in the past either in work, volunteering, studying or a senior member from an organisation you were part of e.g. a youth/sports club, it cannot be a personal friend or family member.

Stage 3 Additional Information Required after the Interview

After the online interview, if it is decided you are suitable for the project you will need to provide some additional information, we will contact the people who will provide your reference and you may also have to complete an English Test.
