6.
a.The consequences of drug addiction are different from those of tobacco addiction, which is more harmful than the onset of tobacco addiction, and the tobacco industry is an important source of tax revenue for countries. Humans have been smoking for thousands of years, and the tobacco industry has flourished to this day. Smoking is very common in all countries, so people accept this label, although this label has an impact, but his impact is very small.
b.It can be said that it is a label imposed on non-groups by groups in power. It is legal to carry guns because people use them to protect themselves, not to harm others, and it is illegal to use guns when they are not physically threatened. Wearing baggy trousers in public will lead to labels，So there's a fine.

The origin of the bias can be explained in part by labeling theory, which in sociology argues that the social process it uses to point out how a person is labeled and viewed as a criminal bias actually promotes abnormal behavior and produces a Negative effects, because other people may be biased against them because of this label, when people make rules and most of the people agree with the rules, some marginalized people agree to be labelled, for example: Chinese non-mainstream in the 1980s, or YK2 , subcultures. People think that their clothing is not allowed in mainstream society, which is a huge deviation from society, so this also leads to this in social rules, drug dealers and addicts are labeled as crimes because people think it is a Dangerous and unsupported stuff, even though it's used by large crowds of people. For example: Artists need to find inspiration through it, and people suffering from war use it to relieve pain, but its extremely high addiction and mortality are considered to be undervalued by people. In the popular drug crisis in the United States, a Painkillers started off as a comforting label, but with its powerful doses and scandalous news media people labeling it a no-drug.

Their definition of deviance stems from the fact that they violate the morals or rules that most people follow.
A: Label theory argues that alcohol, tobacco, marijuana and cocaine can cause more harm than alcohol and tobacco. In fact, this is also true. In this division, alcohol and tobacco, which is less harmful to human health, is labeled as legal, and those who are more harmful to people are labeled as illegal.
B: It's legal to carry a gun, so it's not deviant, but it's not ethical to dress undignified in public. And saggy paints are sloppy and give a negative impression so it's deviant.

a.Since in the traditional concept of people, smoking and alcohol do not cause great harm to the human body or mind, only a momentary mental stimulation. Drugs, on the other hand, are far more harmful and mentally stimulating than alcohol and tobacco.
b.Labeling theory suggests that people get labels based on what others think of their tendencies or behavior. People's impressions and thoughts of a person are usually determined first by their appearance and dress code. In case b, because the gun is too heavy and thus appears poorly dressed, he is likely to be negatively labeled as unkempt, unhygienic, lazy, etc

A. No, labeling theory cannot be used to explain it. In fact, smoking marijuana or cocaine can be more harmful to individuals or society than drinking alcohol or smoking. They are illegal because they can cause more damages instead of labeling.

B. Yes, it can. Owning a gun and carrying it in public may seem like a potential risk, but it's legal. The fact that having ‘saggy pants’ can't actually cause any harm but can be fined may be due to the label people attach to people who are scruffy. Many people may consider it uncivilized and impolite to dress in this way, which is very unhygienic and barbaric and is therefore avoided at all costs.

A. Drug addiction has distinct repercussions than tobacco addiction, which is more destructive than the onset of tobacco addiction, and the tobacco business is a major source of tax money for governments. Smoking has been practised by humans for thousands of years, and the tobacco industry has thrived ever since. Smoking is fairly common in all nations, so people accept this term, despite the fact that it has a minor influence.
B. It is possible to say that it is a term put on non-groups by powerful organisations. People carry weapons to protect themselves, not to hurt others, and it is illegal to use guns when they are not physically threatened. Wearing baggy pants in public will result in labels, and there will be a fine.

a.Labeling theory is an approach in the sociology of transgression that focuses on the ways in which agents of social control attach stigmatising stereotypes to particular groups, and the ways in which stigmatised people change their behaviour once they are labelled. There is a clear scientific consensus that it is far less harmful to human health and less dangerous than most banned drugs than legal, highly addictive substances such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco, but Leonhardt's testimony reflects a huge gap between archaic federal regulatory mandates and scientific consensus.

b.Modern people have become accustomed to labelling everything and setting rules, and even more so to living by the rules in a well-ordered day.

a. I think it can be explained by Labelling theory, because in label theory deviance behavior is divided into primary deviance and secondary deviance. Smoking and drinking does not have much of an impact on their social status and relationships, is a primary deviance, and does not become a crime. But drug use such as marijuana and cocaine can seriously affect the social status and relationships of drug users, which is a secondary deviance and therefore a crime.

b. I don't think it can be explained by Labelling theories because in Labelling theories, deviance is divided into primary deviance and secondary deviance, and the above two do not explain this situation. Compared to low-waisted pants, guns are more dangerous and affect an individual's social status and relationships, but guns are legal. So this situation cannot be explained by Labelling theories.

a. No, label theory doesn't explain that. In the UK, if people smoke cannabis or cocaine, it is illegal, but there is no harm to the group or society. This is an individual action, not a threat to the crowd.

b.Yes, it can be explained by label theory. Carrying guns in public places is dangerous and may cause panic, even if the force is to protect oneself, it is still a dangerous existence but it is legal. Wearing baggy pants in public can lead to a label, which is very indecent and impolite. Slovenly images are labeled
