As time passes the elderly become more forgetful but as time passes, it only makes them wiser. Some of the elderly people are not able to relate because they have been adults their entire lives.
On the other side you have some elderly people who remember everything, they often give advice. Time equals knowledge and knowledge can lead to wisdom.
I would practice agism to a certain degree.
