Hey everyone, welcome to our NY class blog!

Guess where we went today?!

It's one of New York's tallest skyscrapers!

Correct - to the Empire State Building :) It was amazing!

First of all the lobby was so impressive, all that gold and marble looked really nice and expensive.

But the lobby wasn't even the best part, the observation deck on the 102nd floor is THE BEST! You have a 360 degree view of New York, where you can really see everything from Central Part to Brooklyn Bridge, it's just awesome! We took so many cool pictures, it really felt like we're on top of the world :)

But you should remember to take a coat because it's pretty windy up there and if you're scared of heights it's maybe not the right spot for you. One of us was kind of scared, which was a little bit funny :D

Furthermore it's also not so cheap, but I would say it's totally worth the money.

So if you're ever in NY - you have to check it out!

Afterwards we went to a diner nearby and I had the best burger of my life! It really is true - Americans make the best burgers :)

That's it for today, I'm really looking forward to the rest of our trip. Tomorrow we'll check out another famous landmark of NY - the legendary Central Park :)

Good night and hopefully see you tomorrow :)

Hello everyone,

welcome to our NY class blog! We are Lazar and Kisha.

Today we visited the Statue of Liberty and we wanted to tell you guys what we did there.

So first of all we went there with the boat and then we arrived at the Statue of Liberty. We went inside and there was a museum with lots of people. The museum was about immigration and it was kind of boring, but kind of fun as well because we learned about America's immigration history.

After that we went outside and took some pictures.

We also went up to the crown and we had a pretty view, but when we went to the crown it costed $24.80 . But it was worth it since the view was so cool, we could see lots of places like the famous skyline and more. Most of us liked the view, but one of us was scared of heights, that was so funny. After that we went to a diner and ate some food. And that was our post about today's experiences.

We hope you liked it.

Whats up guys?

Welcome to our Blog!

We are Laura and Mert!

Guess where we went today! Little tip. It’s the heart of Manhattan!

It’s the famous Central Park of course!

It was so crazy there!

If you want to enter the park you don’t even have to pay!

Did you know that over 40 million people visit Central Park every year?

Also, there are over 18 thousand trees at the park! So that means that there is a lot of fresh air, even though you are in the middle of one of the biggest cities in the world!

So first we went to the Zoo because the animals were so cute!! After that we sat on the grass and had a picnic!

The weather was so good! We saw some boats and rented one! They also gave us some fishing tools! So we were fishing for 2 hours?! But we only got 3 fishes..

The view is so nice and beautiful and a lot of movies got filmed there! The most famous spot in the Central Park is the Bow Bridge! The central park is so big! It’s the most important park in Manhattan for a reason!

But that didn't stop us to have a great day, we shopped our favorite brands and ate delicious food. In the restaurant we found a coupon in a newspaper and got things 10% cheaper. It was a cool experience, if you liked shopping as well, check it out.

Hello everyone, welcome to our NY class blog!

Today we went to New York City and visited the Ground Zero Memorial. We saw the bronze plates written on the walls of the handmade waterfall, they are beautiful. They are a part of NYC's history and we felt honored to be able to see them. There is also a museum, we went there too and saw parts of the original columns of the Twin Towers. You can hear stories ofthe victims of the attacks. The twin towers were build in 1973 and got destroyed in 2001 in a terrorist attack. Nearly 3000 people died at that tragic day but now Ground Zero is a memorial for all the people that died.

Our day was great.

Sazan, Murat & Mert

We played badminton and our team won the game.

Then we went for a walk and learned that we could rent a boat, which we did. We had a pretty nice time on the boat until we realised that one of our friends had sea sickness and threw up! That was really terrible!

When we were out of the boat, we lost some friends because the park is so big. Luckily, we found them quickly.

Esila & Nurcan
