Having perseverance and hope as my top 2 really reflects me as an unstoppable worker. My bottom 5 are fairness, curiosity, zest, honesty, and humility. 5 I would like to mostly improve my curiosity the most as it means I'm not the type of person who really deep dives into the question and deconstruct what there is. I think what will help my AP goals is my ability to not give up and lose hope even when the situation is looking dim, something that will challenge my AP goals is my lack of excitement and curiosity through deep diving and depicting. Overall I have very good character strengths as my top 5 as it shows my strengths and my weaknesses.

Are there any particular strengths you would like to develop this semester?

I would like to improve my integrity, prudence, and leadership. These three skills will really benefit me in the long term and allow me to be very versatile in the real world.

So far, during our lessons, what are the concepts you have learnt (or further developed) and how are they influencing the way that you approach problems?

I've learnt concepts surrounding divergent and convergent thinking and how we can come up with multiple ideas also been deep-diving into myself and becoming a creative person to strategically come up with solutions that fit the problem while also being midngul about consumer suppy and demand.

What do you think your biggest challenges are going to be in AP

one of the challenges from my perspective now is probably my lack of creative ideas which I do struggle with under short notice/time. which will heavily affect me at a later point in this program due to the heavy amount of creative thinking each group will need to undergo when thinking about their final idea.

What are you most excited about in AP?

I am highly excited about creating and presenting the idea as we can be as creative as we want to project any idea and solution to the problem we get. as well as creating the physical object making and putting it together would be very tiring but very rewarding

Reflecting on the Divergent and Convergent thinking activities from Tuesday, what did you find challenging? Did you find it easier the more you practiced or working solo vs a group? Add photo evidence from the activity.

i found divergent alt easier to brainspot ideas working collaboratively as I can reflect while also getting in real-time feedback to reflect on all possible ideas while also giving feedback to my partners as well in a collaborative systems but convergent did help me think of my own ideas while facing the problems by myself and ficing the which helps me learn to help myself

What tools, skills or activities did you find most useful in the redesign your partner’s summer activity?

the mind map and the questioning were very helpful as they allowed me to find the problem in his lunch and immediately start diving into more targeted questions towards him which started to fill my head with multiple very achievable solutions for him. But as i further narrowed it down each solution shifted and re-designed itself and some dropped out of and some evolved into the solution i am using now for him and perfected to solve his problems

How did you use or develop or grow your 5 C’s? (Collaboration, Communication, Critical and Creative Thinking, Citizenship, Character (Strengths))

with this task, I developed/improved my character, creative thinking and communication as those were the main c's I used when completing this task. communication I needed to portray my ideas and ask questions to identify the problem and think of a solution. critical thinking to rely on the information got from him and start to t deconstruct what he said and think of a solution. and my character to project that speech to him and to connect to him personally that I understand his problem and want to help.

What did you find most difficult during the activity? How will you overcome this in the future?

The problem I had was my partner not coming it challenged the communication between us as it only allowed me a short questioning window after school which heavily affected my reliability and efficiency of this task.

After receiving the feedback, what changes would you make to your solution?

the feedback i received helped my change as it allowed me to udenrtsand and refllect on my intial thought adding onto it or changing a few things around based on his feedbac and how he liekd adn dilsaked the idea which changed my origanl idea with a few tweaks which added up to my final design

Other reflections.

having my partner away really affcted my performcae as charlie was out due to a injured leg it really set me adn him behind but we ended up weoking it out and i finsihed my solution

Approx 150-200 words

Where did our group do really well in the Spinoff task?

I feel like our humor elements played a huge role in bringing out the video together as it helped people have a laugh, which also helped bring people together,r which is one of the main objectives of our original idea Our idea wast anything special, but it worked on with more careful consideration can be brought into something big apart form that. The task went quite well as we got a lot of positive feedback on how we created the infomercial and the product that we made

What improvements would we make if we had the opportunity to do the task again?

We could make a few major improvements that will really help improve our design by giving it more detail by expanding on hw much till cost and how its being brought together just much needed details. Moving on to planning and work distribution by pre-planning work gials each day it'll help us be ahead of what we orginally were at and by bringing the work load onto more people it'll help ease certain group members.

What Elements of Collaboration were successful?

The elements that we found successful were bringing up all possible ideas to each other and breaking them down, and picking a few ideas that match the problem and is possible from a business perspective and aswlel quickly and swiftly coming up with a plan each day to what we want to do and on the day improving what we wanted to do by undertsanind what we can and cant do.

What improvements could have been made in terms of Collaboration?

We could have most likely asked for help before filming as we ran into a few problems with a lack of people to help, which would've been an easy fix to collaborate with other groups, helping them in return for them to help out our problem.

What Persuasive Techniques did we use? How effective were these? What evidence do I have of this?

we used a lot of humour when thinking about persuasive techniques, as humour is a type of persuasive technique that can really bring an ad together, as it brings out the happy side of people ,and when people are happy, there are a lot more lieky to buy a product sitatioted with the happiness created form that ad.

On this day, we were pitching our pitch to other people, which in return, we got feedback and gave feedback to other people, helping us implement our feedback. The feedback we got was that the pitch was too long the monotone was very basic. With this feedback we reflected and realised that we need to emphasise how we say our pitch more really taking someones attention and making them stay while also shortening it so they don't get bored while we say the pitch, as we don't have a long period of time with them for us to vote.

The expo went very well from our perspective. We managed to set up our stall and posters quickly, which allowed us to focus on engaging with visitors right from the start. Our team delivered the pitch confidently, maintaining a calm and welcoming tone that made people feel comfortable approaching us. The mini-game we included was a big success, attracting many visitors and encouraging them to participate for a chance to win a prize. We received a lot of positive feedback from those who played, as everyone enjoyed the activity and appreciated the opportunity to win something. Overall, the event was a great opportunity to showcase our project, interact with a wide audience, and build connections. Even though we didn’t make it into the top three, our team’s effort paid off in terms of engagement and the positive impression we left on many attendees.
