Thinking about 'gap analysis' in the market e.g. if we are working with one area on necessary training, who is doing the training elsewhere? Can we identify?

"Blue light opportunities"

--poor/out-dated websites for our visibility to allow us to be discovered

--lack of sufficiently sized commercialisation team to support our potential

--reputation damage because we're not joined up (e.g. companies telling us that they're already working with someone else in the university)

--in the absence of proper SHU systems, we all build our local work-arounds (but yay re. can-do DIY attitude to creating solutions--and in the process, we innovate and create potential scaleable solutions)

Availability of funding and looming deadlines are key drivers

Could we take business ideas from RIKE community, and feed this into student placement / experience?
