These ideas are very interesting. Now we need to clarify the answers to the following questions so that we all starting writing our story. What do think? 

 

It was a rainy night when Manolo, an internationally famous rockstar, decided to meet, as usual, his drug dealers Nicolas and Eva, a doctor and a nurse working in one of the greatest hospitals of the country. The doctor was experimenting with the production of new substances, which Manolo was trying out, as they had an uplifting effect on his mood and were keeping him energetic during his concerts. Manolo, however, had decided to stop using them and follow a healthier lifestyle and that is what he was going to announce to them, at their last meeting. When they finally met and he announced to them his decision, they were furious and wanted revenge. They started thinking about their plan, when Nicolas suggested to inject into him a new substance they were creating, which could end up being fatal. The hospital’s janitor, however, secretely heard their plan, as he was completing his night-shift. He warned Manolo about what he had heard, who, then, tried to take matters into his own hands. 

This is our version, we changed it because there must be a crime.

While the musician is drinking alcohol suddenly falls to the floor and dies. The nurse and scientist killed him because he wanted to report them to the police because they sell drugs. When he dies the detective Emma Holmes tries to resolve the crime.

These birds feathers aren’t blue. You call one of your contacts that works in a zoo. After sending a photo of this feather, she immediately tells you that it is a macaw’s. She also tells you that there is no way a macaw could have got there on his own, because they usually like places with lots of humidity. Somebody must have brought it there.

Then came some criminologists to analyze the crime area. To see if they could find any suspicious human evidence. They found a steel dagger that was left behind. It was not used, but it had a brand name written on it, but it was impossible to read all of it. All you could read was “Smith’s…”. There were many places called that way.

You go to this smithy and you walk around trying to find the blacksmith. You see somebody taking care of a saddle. He approaches you, and you ask him about the dagger.  As you listen to his explanation, you realize that he has a distinctive accent. He says that he doesn’t know anything about that, because he is only the janitor. Also, he says that it is unlikely that the dagger was theirs, because they don’t have any clients. You ask him about his accent, and he tells you that he is originally from Latino America and that his main language is Portuguese, and that his family runs the smithy. He tells you that the blacksmith will be there in a couple of hours, so you go to drink a coffee while you drink and think.

You figure out that the janitor is Brazilian, so his family must be too. You go back to the smithy, but the blacksmith hasn’t arrived yet. You wonder when he came to this country so you ask him. He answers that he came 4 years ago, with his family. You give up and tell him you will come tomorrow. In the police office you think about doing a little bit of research about the family. There are many immigrant folders on the drawer.

You read that there are four members of the family in this country. One of them is a nurse, the janitor’s sister. She is sent to a different hospital every 2 years. There are 4 hospitals, and they always move her in the same order: “Pacific Hospital” - “Town’s Hospital” - “Miraculous Hospital”. You know that when she came, she was sent to Pacific Hospital.

You go to this hospital, and find the nurse. She tells you that she has no idea about the crime, and her colleagues confirmed that she was working that night. She tells you to ask his cousin, because he has been acting weird for some time. He is a scientist, but he works in a secret lab he has in the woods. 

It is so secret that even the family members don’t know where it is. They only know that it is north of the big statue.

While you are on your way to the statue, the blacksmith contacts you, and he says that he was busy visiting her sister, the nurse. You know that this is a lie, because you have just been with the nurse, but you decide to talk to him later. You arrive to the statue, and you get out the compass. You are looking in the same direction as the statue is. The statue is looking west. You know that a whole circle is 360º.

You arrive to a little hut. You knock on the door, but nobody answers. The door is very modern, it has a lock screen to write the password. There is a cookbook on a little table next to the door. You realize that the doormat says something about the door's password. It says “I am lactose intolerant, what do I have for lunch?”. There are only four recipes in the cookbook.

When you come inside after typing the password in the lock screen, you see a lot of blood. You soon trip on  the scientist's body. You call the police, but you have to leave because many people might be in danger. As you run back to the smithy’s you see a trail of blue feathers, it was the same murderer again. You come into the smithy very quickly, and you tell the janitor to go grab his sister, the nurse, and go somewhere safe. You ask him if the blacksmith is here, and he tells you that he isn’t really a blacksmith, he is a pet trainer that couldn’t find work, so he became the blacksmith. 

You have to decide who the murderer is before it is too late. You put together all the evidence you have found to decide who it is: The murderer had a knife made from Smith’s Smithy, which means that he probably is family. Although the dagger wasn’t used to murder the musician, we found some blue feathers that belonged to a blue parrot that is only found in places with a lot of humidity such as Brazil. When we came into the blacksmith, the janitor was taking care of a saddle, somebody in that family is very good with animals. We also found blue feathers in the scientist's crime scene. The four suspects are family.

You call the police, and it takes a couple days to catch the pet trainer. When they interrogated him, he confessed to the murders of the scientist and the musician. He said that he killed the musician because he always made fun of him, and he couldn’t put up with that behavior anymore. But when he started talking about the scientist, he said that he regretted it. He was the pet trainer’s cousin, and he only killed him because he knew about the murder, and threatened him about telling on him. 

Task one:One day in 2004 a pet trainer called Venson and his best friend Hector, who was a musician, but was also Vensons apprentice, were sent to the north pole by his company. There they had to train a killer whale called Rony, who has been the most dangerous killer whale in the world, but now he was in a big lake, owned by Ricky, the man who took him from the Antarctic ocean and used him to impress the tourists. This was a special case because really the killer whale wasn’t a pet, so it was the most difficult challenge of Venson and Hector's life. Hector and Venson were sent to the north pole to train Rony to become a less aggressive animal and an attraction for the tourists . 

The first 3 days were horrible because Rony was all the time in the bottom of the lake so Venson and Hector couldn’t even see him. The 4th day was the first day that Venson touched Rony, from that moment Venson won Rony’s confidence. But in a one cold day Venson went to the lake to ride Rony, using a big saddle, but Venson disappeared that evening. Anyone knew where he could be or  why he disappeared, because he was alone while he was riding Rony. Venson called the police and some investigators to help him find Venson.

Second task:

The investigators main murderer was Rony, because he used to be very aggressive and Venson was on him so he could have attacked him. So they went to the lake and looked if there was any blood or clothes in the water, but there wasn’t anything suspicious.

Third task:

The janitor of the lake, where Rony was, was asked by the investigators if he saw something and he said that he heard some noises but not of help. They decide to find evidence, and find a dagger full of blood and a  compass with the broken glass. Then they took the dagger and looked at the fingerprint, but the results weren’t good, there weren’t very clear fingerprints. 

Fourth task:

They only have a last option, Venson has killed himself. They ask Hector about Venson last weeks, Hector said that Venson was always happy and smiling and he didn’t say anything to Hector. Then they ask Ricky about his relationship with Venson and if he noticed something strange. He said that he was always nice to him and was always happy. That made the investigators think again and start suspecting that Venson was murdered and didn’t kill himself. They have a murder Hector!

It all have sense he was jealous of Venson because Venson was the perfect men, he was always nice to everyone, always happy, he was doing his job perfectly…At the end Hector confessed that killed him.

Robin Smith, a famous musician, caused a lot of envy throughout the entire world due to his huge success in the music industry. Some people close to him though gradually turned their envy into rage.

Robin Smith disappeared a week ago. The last time he was seen alive was last Saturday near the Lake District area. A janitor that worked in a high school nearby found a dagger from the 19th century and a compass in a red backpack near the lake. The musician’s name was written on the left strip. The last person who saw him was his personal pet trainer and dear friend, Bill Carroll, who decided to help with the case. He thought that they would possibly need a sample of Robin’s DNA, so he brought a saddle, which he and his friend used in order to train Robin’s horse.

At the back of the compass there were some letters and when they ordered them they formed an address. The police officer and the pet trainer went to The Path Lab located in London, which was the address of the compass. The scientist helped them find what they were looking for and they found an old picture of the first owner of the lab in a barn similar to the one of the pet trainer, and at the back of the picture there was a symbol which was in the handle of the dagger too. They also found a note on the scientist’s desk, on which there was a list of celebrities’ names, with the name “Robin Smith” having been crossed out.

That is when they started suspecting the scientist. The next day, the police captain of the area gave his crew a search warrant but they realized that the scientist took a flight to Spain the night before because there was a charge for a purchase of Greek yogurts worth 500€ in his credit card, at a spanish supermarket.

A body was found dismembered in a closet in the Path Lab. Nobody could understand whether that was Robin’s body, so they called a nurse, who used a blood sample and matched it with the DNA on the saddle. Now they were sure: the scientist was the murderer.

They realized that the scientist was actually going to be given a huge promotion and a bonus check if he managed to conduct an experiment on a bunch of celebrities. The musician was the only one who refused, so he thought that if he disappeared, he would not have to worry about him.

In the year 1769,  there was a popular musician named Freddie but everyone called him Fred. He always had a peacock feather with him, he said it gave him good luck. It was winter so he got sick and ended up having a fever. So his brother, who was a pet trainer named Jjoe, took him to the hospital in the Lake District. 

Fred got admitted into the hospital but he soon noticed everybody was very strange there, Joe also thought the same.

TASK 1#

The nurse came into the room to give him Magnesium pills. Help him find how many grams  he should take knowing he must consume 0.08 magnesium moles.  ANSWER: 2g

Task 3

After eating the pill Fred was feeling a lot better so he and Joe decided to leave the hospital and go home. They tried opening the door but it was locked.

TASK #3

After some time they started looking for something to open the door. They noticed there was something written on it, it looked like algebra. After some time searching on the room, they found an ecuation on one of the walls. Help Fred and Joe solve the ecuations.

Joe and Fred managed to leave the room. The first thing they did was run to the right until they realized it was blocked. Then they ran to the left, but they realized that there wasn’t a way out. When they had already given up, a janitor appeared and he walked through the corridors. He looked like a good person.They asked him where the exit door was. The janitor told them that the corridors rearranged themselves. Once they found the map, Joe and Fred managed to escape the moving corridors. They thought they were going to be able to leave the hospital but they found themselves with another task.

TASK #4

 Joe and Fred saw 3 doors. Each one had 3 pictures and there were different famous works of art but there was a problem, the pictures had the year they were made but it couldn’t be seen. Help them choose the exact door. 

Clue: The picture of the door where they should enter was made in 1503.

After finding the right year, Joe and Fred were able to choose the correct door. 

TASK #5

After opening the door they found themselves in a dark room. They looked around and found a strange painting that had numbers. Next to the painting there was a phrase that wrote “ The numbers are letters, say it thrice and let the door be opened”. In the painting there was some numbers: 23,5,12,3,15,13,5    20,15     4,5,1,20,8

TASK #6

Joe and Fred were in shock after seeing the answer. They didn’t want to die and they started going back, and they decided to leave the room but they didn’t find the room. And suddenly they fell into a deep hole.

After sometime they realized they were in a room full of pillows, they were feathers everywhere. There was a big watch counting down. They only had two

This story takes place in a mysterious town in Norway, where some murder has occurred and a human has been disappearing.The detective went to the crime scene. The police gave to the detective some information about the case, the time it happened, the name of the deceased…The murder  was at 11:28 at night.

SIGHT: The detective went to this street and he found blood in a container. There, it was a compass and a paper that had a coordinate, and he decided to go there.

SIGHT: You took the objects you found to a laboratory to analyze the blood and you returned home to continue investigating.You entered a room in which there was a cage, you found a feather and decided to keep it.

TASK 5:They called you from the lab and told you that the blood was…

SIGHT: After the call investigating and in another room you saw a horse saddle. A few days passed, you were in a quiet bar thinking about all the objects and you realized that a very mysterious man was next to you. When you looked at him well you saw a feather which is the same one that you found in the house.

FINAL TASK:Then you decided…..

You started to follow and you came to a stable in which the missing person was found and unfortunately dead. You arrested that man and called the police, the case was already solved.

The problems started after the fifth night, when all the people in the facility had heard someone screaming of pain.
Everyone tried to understand where the cry was coming from and after about 20 minutes, Ellen told everyone she had found Jimmy Jones dead on his room’s floor with a very deep wound on his thigh that caused him to bleed to death.

All the inhabitants of the station were shocked and afraid, but they still tried to find clues of this mysterious death in that room.

Nobody found much, except the nurse of the station who found a strange cookbook that no one knew Jimmy had, not even his crew.

The days go by and noone at the station has stoped looking for clues that could lead to the death of Jimmy.

While Ellen was out with penguins, she found a different feather from normal. She immediately understood that it wasn’t a penguin’s feather but since no other animals with feathers were found there, Ellen thought that it was very strange and took it to the station.

Meanwhile, at the research station the investigations took a dramatic turn when the janitor found a compass hidden in the victim's room and the nurse discovered a saddle and a cookbook with a strange inscription on it. The nurse seemed to be the one most intent on finding the killer among the group.

Not only the nurse and the janitor found and thought something, because after searching for anything suspicious and finding nothing the scientist noticed that the musician could not have died instantly by such a wound and said that the only way that he would have stayed in bed is if he was injected with something.

The scientists said nothing to the other members of the group because they had to ascertain their ideas, but they began to narrow the circle of suspects because the only person who had access to the drugs was the nurse

All of them realized that the killer may be someone they know and trust, and they had to act quickly to prevent another murder from happening.

In the following days no one found any clues and it was thought that the killer could no longer be found. The situation had calmed down, until the janitor, one night, heard noises near the victim's room and immediately went there, seeing a black figure who ran away upon his arrival.

Entering the room he saw that all the room had been turned up. He saw the drawers open and an object on the floor near a piece of furniture. He went closer and understood that it was a dagger, but then he realized one thing: Jimmy's body wasn't there, it had been taken away.

Suddenly he had a sense of fear and anxiety at the thought that the killer was still there and that probably the black figure he had seen was the person that all the community was looking for.

The next morning the janitor called everyone, showing them what he had found that night and explaining the whole situation to them.

Everyone, like the janitor the night before, felt that sense of anxiety. Among all, however, the nurse stood out because she was starting to sweat cold. Nobody had ever seen her like this.

Ellen and the scientists at one point seized the moment and told everyone what they had found. Ellen spoke first and said that while she was out with the penguins she found a feather that immediately didn't seem like one of his animals and then, after doing some research when she returned to the base, she discovered it was a snow puffin's feather, a rare bird in that specific area of ​​the north pole and which had only the nurse with her.

Since it seemed strange to her to find such a feather in those areas, she thought to take it to the base to show it to the others group component's because maybe she could carry on with the research and in fact she did, indeed she concluded it.

After Ellen's speech, the scientists began to expose their suspicions,but they didn't even have time to get to the middle of the speech, because the nurse started crying and having a crisis. Ellen's story gave her the final blow.

She asked the nurse what was wrong and she screamed:”enough! I can’t take it anymore, It was me. I killed Jimmy, and all these days I've been trying to remove all possible clues, but I can't stand with this weight on my soul anymore."

Everyone was shocked and they immediately called the security to lock down the nurse.

After a couple of days the crew came back to their home and the nurse was arrested, discovering that she tried to kill the famous musician out of envy.

During the interrogation happened, the nurse said that she had hidden Jimmy's body and if they would want to find it, they should use a compass.

At that time, Ellen remembered the compass that the janitor had found and the strange cookbook. This book was strange because it had a compass as the cover and  there was a written message in Greek, but after the revelations of the nurse they started to connect all. Ellen said to the scientists to start searching in their laboratory the cookbook that  they had set apart.

When they found it they tried to translate what was written on. Luckily the scientists already knew Greek and understood that it said where the body was. Ellen and the scientists immediately set off taking everything they needed including the book with the compass and the saddle that the nurse found after a few days from the musician's death, because they had got  help by the sled dogs they had at the base and they needed something to create a sort of sled. After days and nights they arrived in a lost iced lake where there was a huge rock in the void, yet it seemed strange, the message said to go north until you met a lake with a huge stone with a symbol of a key on it. When they arrived there they found all, but not the key. Everything matched and they were sure they were in the right place, so Ellen remembered the potion that scientists brought with them and suggested to try to use that cleaning potion that they brought from the station with them on the rock. Shortly after the symbol of the key appeared where below it was written: " page 42 chapter: How to cook a cake " the scientists didn't immediately understand. The only thing they had with pages and chapters was the cookbook, so they tried to go to page 42 where there was a key, the key that they needed to find the body.

They rested on the stone and after a few seconds a dark tunnel opened where deep down they could see a light. Although with much anxiety that this tunnel transmitted to the scientists, but not to Ellen who was very motivated to get to the bottom of this story, started to run, run, run until they found in front of them, almost completely covered by ice, what they were searching for….

the musician's body. 

Jimmy's funeral could not be done, but the news of the musician's death immediately went viral. Ellen contributed Jimmy's crew to the release of the only song Jimmy was able to record before he died; they called it: "North Pole".

20 years after the homicide, nobody knows how the nurse took him there, to that frozen cave without any help... she probably wasn't alone in committing that crime.

Jimmy left his home only to go shopping. One day, he went shopping in the center of town, and someone made Jimmy’s day bad. The janitor of an expensive shop didn’t let him enter, just because Jimmy looked like a poor person. So, he got angry and went back home with the purpose of killing the janitor.

Jimmy didn’t think twice; he took his cookbook and made the most evil potion ever, that he called it the feather potion because they were its main secret and magical ingredients. Next day, he wore elegant and expensive clothes that he used when he had a piano concert, so that he could enter the shop. So, he took his potion and left the house. He was arriving, but he realized that the potion had frozen. So he had no more option, apart from going to a café and waiting until the potion became liquid. After an hour, the potion had melted, so he decided to finish what he wanted to do.

When he arrived at the shop, the janitor let him in because of his elegant clothes. Jimmy saw that the other workers were clueless, so he grabbed the janitor's head and tried to force the “Feathers Potion” into his mouth. He drank it, but the effect of the potion wasn’t like Jimmy thought, he didn’t know why. For all the anger, the musician drew his knife from his pocket and daggered him. Then, he started to run and he didn’t stop until he arrived at his home.

The next day, Jimmy had wear feelings, he was a little bit sick. He turned on the TV and he couldn’t believe what he was watching. It was an interview with a nurse who said that someone tried to kill her husband, a janitor of a shop. The janitor was safe, but he had been at death’s door. Jimmy was sad because his potion didn’t work well, it was supposed that the janitor had to die immediately.

The question why the potion didn't work had been going around Jimmy's head for several days. Finally, he thought that the reason was that the potion had turned into ice, so he planned to go to Hawaii, but his plans didn't work out.

He heard a very loud noise, and immediately some police officers entered his house. Jimmy ran away to escape from the police and he went to his old friend’s house, who was a pet trainer. He was a horse rider and he had a farm. Jimmy told him all the story and he decided to help Jimmy. The horse rider took two saddles, two horses and a compass. There was a legend of a very old unhibitated house near a lake, where there was a feather hidden there. That was an eagle feather and people said that with that feather all the potions were corrected immediately.

So they started their adventure. After five long days, they finally arrived at the house because the pet trainer was able to read the compass. They found the eagle feather and Jimmy put it in the potion. This was the missing item and why the potion didn't work before.

So, Jimmy returned to the shop and tried to kill the janitor with the new potion. Now it worked and Jimmy took his revenge. He finally could kill the janitor and he returned to be the best scientist with his new potion.

It was really chilly in the North Pole. Charlotte was taking a walk, when she came across an advertisement. The poster advertised a pet competition in London which caught Charlotte’s attention. Because she stayed so long in the cold place, she had the urge to move to somewhere warm. Thus, she decided to travel there.

Since not a lot of people live there she sees the animals as her friends. Therefore she always counts them, so none of them are missing. 

After counting them, she felt quiet and advised the janitor to take care of all the animals during her absence.

 So, she went back to her hut and started planning her trip. He ordered a plane ticket to London, and she reminded herself to remember the time she had to get there, which was at 12:35 am.

Before leaving she remembered to take the compass and some other objects that she used to carry when traveling. Among these, she took a strange object, which she carried with her in case of danger, that was a dagger.

When she got off the plane in London, the pet trainer was very happy to have arrived in a warmer country than the North Pole and immediately thought of going to the competition. It was scheduled, therefore, through the compass she had put in his suitcase, walked north and hoped to arrive in time.

When she returned home, the trainer felt bad from the change in temperature of the two countries. For this reason, she called the nurse who was nearby and when she arrived, the trainer noticed something very strange: the briefcase was of a dark color and quite damaged; inside there was a cookbook, which is very strange for a nurse to have, but she was afraid to open it.

While the trainer went to the bathroom to see if she had the medicine that the nurse recommended, she saw a very rare dagger next to the suitcase that the man was emptying. The woman, who was interested in these things,  took it and put it in the briefcase.

When the nurse came out of the hut, the pet trainer realized that the dagger wasn't on the table, but she didn't worry so much because he wanted to heal from the cold.

After a few hours, the trainer felt a little depressed and for this she called a musician to cheer him up.

When the man arrived at the house, she immediately saw that the pert trainer wasn't in a good mood. The trainer said that during the nurse’s visit, she noticed that there was a strange cookbook in the briefcase. Another aspect that made her worry was that the dagger she had left on the table was missing.

After the trainer told him about the nurse, the musician realized that the woman was the wife of an old friend, the most famous scientist for research at the North Pole.

The musician went to the bathroom of the house and thought; he remembers that when he had spoken to Jack, nurse’s husband, he had told him that it was a time when the two often had an argument. 

From the details told by the trainer, a bad thought comes to him, but for the moment he doesn’t even want to think about it. Maybe the woman just had strange tastes. 

After finishing his session with the trainer, he remembered that he had to go to the competition. So he rented a horse and sat on top of the saddle with a bit of struggle. He always took a break when going to places, so this time he stopped by the Great Lakes. He settled down and began to play the violin. In the midst of his practice he saw a feather falling slowly on the water of the lake. Therefore he spotted some shoes in the lake and got scared. However, he was curious so he went near the shoes and he found a body. What more shocked him was that the dead body was his dear friend the scientist. Not knowing what to do he sends a letter to the janitor who was his cousin. Shortly the janitor arrived and asked his relative all the details he knew about what could have happened. Because of the fondness she had for detective films, she resolved the mystery in no time. The answer was really simple, it had been the nurse, who was his wife, the one who murdered him. After all the details the musician had told her the cheating point was the crucial hint. Since they were married, she probably loved him but the scientist cheated on her causing her to get really mad. So she took the dagger from the pet trainer's room and used it to kill his husband, that’s why there were dagger marks all over his body. He also discovered that in the cookbook abandoned a few meters from the lake, there was Maggie's plan to kill Jack, with all actions carefully explained.

Hearing who the culprit had been, the musician didn’t know how to feel. They immediately called the police to clean the mess and so he went back to the hut the pet trainer was sleeping in. By the time Alan had arrived Charlotte was waiting for him in front of the door. She had heard the news from the neighbors and tried to comfort him.

He lived in Toronto in a big house downtown with her wife Amelia Smith, a rich old woman. She was a landscape painter, she liked painting their garden overlooking the lake. She liked traveling a lot and painting all the landscape. For her birthday, her sister gave her a trip by sea to the North Pole for two weeks. Micheal and Amelia have wanted to go on this trip for a long time. Amelia wanted to paint all the snowy landscapes. Micheal had a compass that dated back to Napoleon's time he kept in his study together with the saddle of Napoleon's horse. He always wanted to go and see what the compass points to.
The trip could take 4 people so they invited their son, Jack Tomson and his wife, Maria Tomson.

Jack was a pet trainer and thanks to his father's success he managed to become a trainer of racing dogs, greyhounds, for very important competitions. Maria instead was a nurse.

They were very excited to go.

They woke up at dawn and soon after they left their house to go to the airport from Toronto to San Francisco. When they arrived in San Francisco, they took the boat to the North Pole. The boat was a very luxury cruise with pools, spas, gyms, theaters, cinemas, and starred restaurants.

The vacation started very well, it was a beautiful day and the sea was calm so they spent a nice afternoon at the pool. The next two days were spent between swimming pools, spas, theaters and luxury restaurants. In the pool they met Arthur Jones a prestigious scientist and Mr Rodger that was a janitor of a Micheal's house, a family friend. Together they spent beautiful days between laughter and tales of adventures. Everyone had fun but Amelia seemed worried, no one knew what was wrong, not even Micheal.

At dinner Amelia didn’t feel well and she went to bed early.

The evening continued peacefully. They returned to the rooms, happy but very tired and they all fell asleep quickly.

The next morning Amelia didn't go down to breakfast, everyone thought she was painting from the balcony of his suite. But it wasn't like that. It was only in the afternoon that they discovered that she had never actually woken up. Micheal gets scared and immediately calls the purser and the ship’s doctor, Jason Moor.

Dr Moor said she was dead. Nobody knew what happened. Not even the doctor could figure out the cause of her death.

Panic broke out throughout the ship, but no one could get off the ship because they were in the middle of the ocean and there weren't any ports near.

The next day the musician's body was found, with a bloody dagger at his side.

The fingerprints found on the dagger match Jack's, so security immediately arrested him, even though he pleads innocent.

On the desk they find a will written with the peacock feather that Michael always carried with him as an amulet. The will said that the inheritance will go to his son Jack.

For this detail Jack doubts arise. He knew that his father wanted to leave his collection of memorabilia to the faithful janitor Mr Rodger.

Arthur testified that Jack had been very strange for some time and Maria said that in the hours of the musician's death, Jack was not with her.

Jack manages to contact his lawyer Henry Cadogan who helps him clear his name.

Arrived at the nearest port, Jack was released, Maria and Arthur were arrested instead and considered accomplices.

Filled with remorse, Arthur told the truth. It was he who had prepared the lethal poison. He had found the recipe in a 1300s cookbook to help Maria in her plan. Maria’ plan was, kill Jack’s parents, frame him and take the entire inheritance because she discovered that Jack cheated on her and she would take revenge.

Finally after this nightmare Jack is free.

Months after the arrest of Arthur and Maria, Jack has donated part of the inheritance to charity in an association that helps musicians as his father would have wanted; while the other part in another association that helped abandoned and injured animals.

This made him a better man and helped him remember his father.

One cool evening on March 10, 1897, the city of Paris was gray and gloomy and the wind was blowing hard. Many people were walking on the main avenue in front of the Eiffel Tower. Among all those people there was a special person who stood out for his big and elegant black hat, it was John Anderson, a young musician who walked nervously towards the nearest railway station impatient to catch the first train possible. The young musician wanted to escape the city because the police were following him after a very serious theft had been committed. He was accused of stealing a famous violin, the Maréchat Berthier, a very expensive violin built way back in 1700 and of very high value, but he was innocent since he hadn't committed any type of theft and needed to escape as soon as possible and investigate who was the real thief. The boy got on a train and after many train journeys, which took him as far as Denmark, he took the boat and finally arrived in a small town near the North Pole, Nasarsuaq in Greenland. There he stayed for a few days while he studied the plan to investigate the Nasarsuaq Hotel of his close friend George Thompson who was a scientist specializing in culinary potions, also lived in that hotel a young nurse named Tiffany Snow, who was there a somewhat casually. A few days later a nice but at the same time very suspicious and mysterious man, Lucas Black, had asked to work at the hotel. It was a very rare situation because usually people don't move to the North Pole to work as janitors, but George, after doing his research on the boy and seeing the kind of situation, was very kind and allowed him to work there. However in the meantime the mystery of the missing violin must also be solved so John and his new friend Tiffany were trying to solve the theft of the violin, someone had entered on the night of March 9 around 3.00 a.m. in the Louvre Museum from a back door that had been clumsily left open and after a gun had been pointed at the caretaker, the famous and very expensive violin had been taken with it, no one had seen the criminal as he had disguised himself very well and he was practically unrecognizable, but everyone thought he was the young musician because he really liked the violin and he could have become very rich with it. George had some questions about Lucas so he wrote some letters to his friends in Paris to research this mysterious man, a few weeks later George receives letters saying that Lucas is a famous criminal and that it was definitely him who stole the violin and trying to frame John, who happened to follow him. George decides to go to Lucas to confront him and try to frame him, but Lucas was there waiting for him, since thanks to his contacts he had managed to intercept some letters. Not being able to use a gun because he would have made too much noise he stabs him using his famous dagger and leaves him in very serious condition. But there is a problem because Tiffany observes everything from the window and decides not to go to the local police to report the crime but to use one of George's potions and prepare a delicious meal, using the recipe book that she had accidentally found in the George's office to Lucas. She pretends she doesn't know anything and gives him coffee to drink which contained a few drops of George's poison, which is not fatal, Lucas drinks it and when he starts to feel sick, Tiffany tells him he was poisoned and she won't give him the 'antidote if he doesn't confess everything. Lucas, very frightened, confesses that he stole the violin and accused John and that he also stabbed George but that he needs the antidote because he doesn't want to die. It also turns out that Lucas, in addition to being an international criminal, was also a local animal trainer and that he was also wanted for having committed several murders to endangered marine animals while riding his sea seal. Lucas' confession is overheard by John and a small group of city cops who also manage to solve another case that had been open for a long time and then Tiffany tells Lucas that the poison is really just a concoction of cooking ingredients mixed with some feathers that he had found in George's laboratory and which only gave him a huge stomach ache, because George is really a specialized scientist, because he is a renowned chef of the place. In the end, John, thanks to the money that had been given to him for the return of the violin, opens a school entrusted to his friend Tiffany who becomes its keeper and he becomes the music teacher of the school and decides never to return to Paris to avoid other possible dangers.

Once upon a time, in the lake district, there was a man named Leonardo. Leonardo  was a guitarist, born in the beautiful city of Verona, in Italy. 

The performance was going well but suddenly Adele, the famous British singer, started singing “Rolling in the deep” from the crowd. This dragged the public's attention to her and the concert had to end because no one was paying attention to it. Everyone went home and the janitor started taking down the stage. 
The next day, Jakes was training his dog Thor when the animal smelled something. The smell led them to an almost dead person. It was Adele! He quickly called Charlotte, the nurse, to help Adele. When she arrives, she helps the singer and discovers a dagger. It has a music symbol on it.

Jakes remembers that Leonardo uses the B note a lot in his songs so he deducts that the assassin must be the guitarrist. Suddenly, Thor smells something like the dagger and starts walking to the woods. After ten minutes, the dog loses the trail and they both get lost. Jakes remembers that there is a town further north.

When they get to the town they find a janitor and they ask him if he has seen Leonardo. The janitor says that he was heading to the restaurant. They saw him enter the kitchen so they tryed to enter. The chef said that Jakes needed to answer one simple question. He showed the trainer a cookbook and asked.

The chef let him but it was too late. Leonardo had escaped. They return to the lake with Adele and Charlotte to tell them the news. After some talking, the British singer discovers a blue feather on her back. It had a peculiar shape, almost like a key. They decided to go to the guitarist's house to see if it fitted but it didn’t. Charlotte had an idea, to make an acid to melt the lock. She had a few numbers to call to. Which one did she call?

The scientist needed a few ingredients to make the solution so he told the others to find them. Where do they go to buy the ingredients?

After they make the acid, they go back to Leonardo’s house. Where do they pour the acid?

When they enter, they find a riddle that opens a room where Leonardo is hiding.

The riddle says: What does a horse wear in order to ride it?

There he was. The coward Leonardo was hiding there but. Why did he do that? Why did he try to kill Adele? The almost murder just said: I must be the best.

After this, the trainer called the police and Leonardo got arrested. He gave Thor a bone as a price and Adele gave a free concert to the whole town to celebrate her recovery. Leonardo learned that jealousy is never good and after he got out of jail he invited Adele to make a benefit concert with him. 

    He felt really happy right now, with his friends by his side.

Noah made once again a lame joke that - somehow- got Amelie bursting out laughing while clutching her stomach, tears escaping her eyes. 

   He sighed, trying to keep a poker face in order to maintain his rather aloof demeanor, but found it impossible after a few seconds and joined the two. 

The sun was already setting and the people near the lake district were slowly going back to their houses to join their family and friends after a tiresome week day.

   Besides, it was quite cold at this time of the season. 

   Luckily, having lived here since he was young, Noah, the lame jokes guy, had predicted this weather way better than the weather forecast does and warned Amelie to wear some warm clothes or they would turn into ice blocks. 

-  Hey, this is actually perfect timing! - exclaimed the bubbly Amelie- We should take a picture to remember this hilarious but freezing cold day!

-  Sure, I suppose it would be suitable to take a photograph now as it seems that any longer and our pizza will turn into ice. You have your precious camera with you, right? -he responded quickly enough for his friends to notice his hidden excitement and to give him beaming smiles.

   Amelie nodded and with swift movements, she took her vintage camera out of her tote bag. Amelie turned her camera facing them and the stunning view of the setting sun and the dazzling lake waters behind them 

-   Alright, cheeseeee!

-   Cheese!

There stood the three of them.

   Noah on the right, with his unruly brown hair reaching his shoulders and chestnut-coloured eyes that were slightly narrowed from smiling too much. That day he wore a black shirt and trousers under a beige trench coat coming down to his knees and a long orange scarf adorning his neck. Of course, all his clothes were pretty thin in comparison with the other two’s; being a pet trainer had its ups and downs but he wouldn’t change his job for the world, even if the income from it wasn’t much. 

   Amelie was standing in the middle, with short blonde hair lightly swaing with the wind, wearing a yellow jumper with some black stripes and snow-white leggings. She had slight eyebags under her eyes, being one of the best nurses in town who worked non stop to help the others, resulting in pulling all-nighters as casually as she breathed {change later} . 

   Finally, there was Adalheid on the left, with long flowing white hair {Marie Antoinette syndrome}, his sapphire blue eyes, in one of his favourite clothes; a blue jacket with some music notes embroidered on the right sleeve and black cargo pants. He was a well- known musician, playing the piano and the violin exceptionally since he was young.

   Even if their interests were completely different, that didn’t stop them from being friends. The opposite, really. However…

That was the last time they took a photo together. Because after that, one of them died.

   Before that moment they had all been quite happy. In the last few days Amelie seemed distant, absent-minded, so after witnessing some of her outbursts, Adelheid tried to ask her what was wrong.

Amelie snapped at him, as if Adalheid actually was supposed to know what the problem was. Noah had intervened to try to calm Amelie, but she became even more enraged with them and started running through the streets of the city ignoring their pleas, telling her to wait.

Neither of them had seen her ever since.

  It was the seventh time she had called Amelie in the past days, still no answer. 

The familiar recorded voice played, once again disrupting Adalheid’s harmony and tranquillity. 

Why wasn’t she picking up? She had promised her that she would finally arrange some time for the three of them to get some coffee. 

But alas, she wasn’t picking up his calls or Noah’s. 

They both were getting very anxious and distressed about her wellbeing for some time now, but had decided against pushing it. 

Perhaps that was not the right decision…

  And with Noah having to leave the town for some days, Adalheid felt… alone. 

He hated being alone. 

The walls of his room were closing up on him. 

He felt like he couldn’t breathe. 

He had to get out of here, now! 

Adalheid woke up gasping for air. Sweat was running down on his forehead. He was quietly clutching the sheets while shaking. After successfully regulating his breathing, he sighed.

Another sleepless night, he supposed.

While trying to keep his mind off the nightmare he kept thinking about Amelie. What had happened to make her so angry with them both? Did they do something wrong?

He didn’t understand. He was really confused, so finally decided to leave home after two days, and went to get some fresh air to clean his head of his negative thoughts and overthinking.

This is the worst decision he could’ve made.

Adalheid saw a rather strange person, cloaked with a black costume, slowly approaching him. At the beginning,he didn’t mind the figure, he was only a bit bothered by the loud squeaking of the person’s boots.

  But when he saw that man coming closer and closer to him, he started to become nervous, so he tried to find a place where there were people. However, luck isn’t always on his side, as Noah always complained. He unintentionally had hit a dead end. Fidgeting, he turned to face the figure. He was face to face with that man who had been chasing him since he left. That was the end. The last thing Adelheid saw was his face. 

He was petrified. 

It was raining, Amelie was arranging some documents alone in her room. She couldn’t sleep at all.

It was 6 a.m., she was dead tired from all the work and yet, she couldn’t sleep.

She couldn’t stop thinking about the argument with her friend. She was partially right, though she didn’t have the right to complain about anything since she didn’t really explain what the problem was.

     At 10 a.m. , after a lot of consideration, she finally decided to go to talk with her friend and make the situation clear. She wrote a message in the group chat with them and proposed to meet at Noah’s house at noon.

   At noon, she arrived in front of Noah’s house. Trying to gather the courage to explain everything to her friends, she rang the doorbell and Noah opened the door. She noticed that he was pretty worried.

As she entered the house, she didn’t see Adalheid anywhere. At first she thought that she was late, but Noah’s face didn’t reassure her of that, so she decided to break the ice: Where’s Adalheid?

“I wanted to ask you the same question” -responded Noah

“Have you heard of him in the last few days?”

“What a stupid question! Of course! Everyday we were worried sick for you, wondered what we had done wrong and tried to find ways to be able to talk to you! 

since last night, however, we still haven’t written”

“I'm so sorry, really, really sorry, I was really angry with you because of what you had said about my relationship with Lukas two weeks ago..”

“Oh Amelie, that’s all? You know very well that that janitor is not the right person for you and that he only uses you, right? You know that me and Adalheid only care for you and that we don’t wanna see you get hurt by that jerk, don’t you?”

“I know that already! But, maybe… these days he is… I don’t know… strange, like he’s hiding something”

“Hmm... Adalheid isn’t answering my calls, what shall we do?”

“Maybe we can go to his home and ring the bell, at least to see if he’s at home”

“Okay, I think it’s the only thing we can do for the moment”

When they arrived in front of his home they rang the doorbell. Once, twice, thrice… No answer. As Amelie was about to step up and try again, she noticed something on the ground. There was his lucky and one-of-a-kind metallic quill he uses for writing his melodies.   {maybe a question?}

This is so weird. He was very attached to it, so why would they find it down on the pavement in front of his house? They both knew Adalheid. There was no way he could’ve dropped it. 

So, Noah decided to pick it up from the ground and found a note. It had some small scribbles on it:

“What does it mean? Know what?” asked Amelie

“I really don’t understand, but I think we have to go there if we want to find clues about where Adalheid is…

Noah quickly turned on his partly broken phone and typed in the coordinates. The results were shocking for both of them.

 “Wait! Are we supposed to go to the north pole?!”

“Really? Who wrote this note? They clearly must be crazy!”

“Agreed. However… If going to North Pole can ensure Adalheid’s safety, then I’m willing to risk it” 

Noah faced Amelie, determined about his decision. Amelie’s head was seriously starting to ache at this point, her worry about her friend and the confusion about the - oh so concise- note etching her mind. Even so, she strongly agreed with the pet trainer. There was no way they could lose such a lead as big as this about Adalheid’s whereabouts. 

And so, with a precise nod from Amelie, the two were quick on their feet to buy tickets for the soonest flight to the North Pole and nothing could stop them.

After two hours, they were at the airport and luckily, they found tickets for tomorrow's flight to the north pole.

After six hours, they arrived at the North Pole. Exhausted from the flight, they decided to go straight to the hotel room they booked. Then, the following day they would go to the exact coordinates with a fresh start and not desperately trying not to throw up. Yeah, a nap sounded divine right now…

The hotel room was small. Very small. There was only a miniscule window and a chandelier that didn’t illuminate the room very much.

   The bed was so uncomfortable, the bedclothes were orange and the pillows were yellow.

   Since they were exhausted, they didn’t mind the bad conditions at all and fell asleep in less than 10 minutes. That time, they did not know nor care about the nauseating smell coming from outside the hotel.

   The next morning they woke up way more relaxed, but this euphoric feeling didn’t last long, as a terrible surprise awaited them.

The door was locked.

They found another note:

“This person can’t be serious” -said Amelie shocked

“You’re right, but if we want to exit we have to find the object that opens the door”

“What does "special object” mean, there’s literally nothing in this room except our things,what can we do?”

“I don’t know, let me think..”

“A special… unique object… I GOT IT! Noah, we are here for Adelheid right? Do you still have his quill?”

“Oh you’re a genius Amelie, yeah I have it! There you go.”

  He tried to put the quill in the lock and turn it. The quill somehow shifted to a large key and after creaking, the door opened.

 They were in a very cold site.

Snowflakes were slowly landing in the already frozen ground and the trees were covered with a thick blanket of snow.

Amelie looked to her left where there was a frozen lake, the ice shining clearly in the basking of the sun. She didn’t remember this yesterday! Where were they?

  Suddenly, Noah received a call from an unknown number: “Hello?”- said Noah.

“Hello.”

“Who are you?”

“Heh, you’ll know that soon, for the moment, think about finding my location, near “the penguin house”, North”

“But..”

beep, beep, beep. The call ended quite abruptly.

“Well, I think it’s better if we go. No need to overthink it, we’re here anyway” -said Noah, scratching the back of his head

“Yeah, I think so too.”

   After searching the coordinates again, they found out that they had to get to a small ice island, so they used a boat found at the coast and after 20 minutes, they arrived in an igloo district. Amelie decided to investigate the igloos, hoping that they would find another clue about this mystery that fell upon them. She discovered a different looking igloo, near the one with the sign “the seal house”. It had a steel gate with some kind of weird markings that they had seen during their search in the locked room scratched on a part of the wall. Obviously, Noah and Amelie immediately thought that they were close to finding the stranger’s or -if they were optimistic enough- Adalheid’s location.

They knocked on the door, but no one answered. The whole world was silent.

   There was a window, so they decided to look through it. That was the worst thing to do.

   They found Adelheid's body, dead, in a really bad condition. They were both extremely shocked. Amelie was on the verge of fainting.

“Amelie.. I-Is that…?” - Whispered Noah, shakily pointing at the disturbing scene in front of them.

“I think I’ve had enough..” - Amelie replied, her voice wavering and tears already running down her cheeks as she turned away, facing the ground.

“No… NO! That’s not-… I know, I know it’s hard, but we have to continue for him. W-we must learn who did t-that to him and why!”

 “I know, but..”

“No no, Amelie, listen, we have to unveil this, he would have done the same with you, in spite of everything, ok? - Noah tried to persuade her, even if he himself was in denial of what he saw, clenching tightly his fists, his nails digging into the slightly scarred skin of his palms

Amelie, after hearing his words, did not reply for a long time and just stared at the snowy landscape dazed. After a long while, she emotionlessly uttered in agreement;

“...Yes, let’s find the stranger’s house”

    They soberly climbed back into the boat to circumvent the island, and finally found “the penguin house”. But this time the gate of the igloo near “the penguin house” was made of titanium.

   They knocked again and again but no one replied. They tried opening the gate but it was tightly shut.

They saw a rather strange puzzle on the gate. Maybe, if they passed it, the door would open.   

   They had to point with the circle arrow, near the handle, to the north.

So Amelie thought of creating a compass. 

So she took a hairpin from her hair, a nail found on the ground, her lucky cork from her 18th birthday, and a saddle found near the frozen lake.

She filled the saddle with water and inserted the hairpin into the cork.

The North was to their left, so Noah turned the arrow to the left and the door opened slowly.

As soon as they entered they saw a lot of strange machines, screens with lots of graphs and numbers, and samples of gelatinous substances. They only noticed, after some time, a man, half asleep in a chair in front of what appeared to be a broken vial with green liquid, which had also fallen to the floor.

“Hello.” -Noah said warily to the unknown person.

Suddenly the person jolted, “Oh, you’re here… Good morning guys, I uh.. well, I don't think I have much time.”

“What are you talking about!?”

“Let me explain. I'm a scientist, and, uh, I'm studying a strange recipe from this old cookbook, but I may be getting the recipe wrong . Can you help me?”

“Wait, so you were the one who called me?”

“Yeah, but don’t worry about that really! I was only searching for someone that can help me with this.” 

“I’m sorry, but I believe we have something else to do. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we must be on our way.” -replied Amelie almost on the verge of going crazy.

“Like what do you have to do? Maybe it concerns that dear friend of yours?”

“Actually, we are searching for a really bad and dangerous person...Wait, you know about Adalheid?!”

“Well, if you help me I can do the same with you, might it be a good deal?”

“Amelie? Do you think we should trust him?”

“I don’t think we have another choice”

“Perfect!” -said the scientist enthusiastically- “Well this is the recipe:

-2 rockhopper penguin feathers

-2ml of black ink

-pebbles from the nests of penguins

The problem is that I’m scared of penguins and now that I’m thinking about it, I don’t even have ink.”

“Where can we find rockhopper penguins?” -questioned Noah

“I believe you might have seen the penguin house before entering, right?

“Yes, but still, you know that the rockhopper penguins are really rare”

“I guess you make too many assumptions and don’t do anything about them.”

“Ok then, now we're gonna go ahead and find everything you need, but as soon as we come back you're going to tell us everything you know about that dangerous person, like we promised” -said Noah coldly.

“All righty!” -responded the scientist excitedly

After a while, Amelie and Noah came out from the igloo and entered the “penguin house”.

It seemed bigger than it was from the outside.

There, the two found lots of kinds of penguins. Emperor penguins and adelie penguins and the list went on and on. However, they were only searching for rockhopper penguins, so the others didn’t really matter to them.

In the search of these penguins, Amelie and Noah decided to explore the igloo thoroughly. Near a side crowded by penguins, they found a staircase that led to a wide underground floor, where they found more than one hundred penguins, all of them different species.

They looked at them one by one in order to succeed in finding the rockhopper, and after a while, they indeed found one. Noah was extremely surprised as this kind of penguins are very rare and difficult to find. But since learning about animals is his passion, he was brimming with excitement to examine the penguin.  

Noah, being the experienced one, handled the situation well and managed to get both feathers.

Once they climbed the stairs, they also found a penguin's nest that they had not seen while entering the strange igloo. However, there were no stones in the nests, thus they left the penguin house disappointed and decided to search around the small island. 

Investigating behind the igloo, they found some nests close to each other and only one of them had pebbles in it. Amelie then picked up a handful of them and put them in her pocket, exactly as Noah had stressed about earlier. To prevent them from chasing after them, thinking that they had stolen a very important possession from them, she had to hide these pebbles out of the penguins’ sight.

After taking these ingredients, they returned to the scientist, to whom they handed over their findings.

 "What about the ink?" -asked the scientist as he greedily took the ingredients in his hands.

"Oh yes, um." -Amelie had totally forgotten about this

"Here it is" -Noah pulled out a random pen of his. He always carried one with him, in case he had to note down something new about his field of expertise.

"Thanks a lot dude. Now we’re all set thanks to you!"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Now it's your turn to talk."

"Yes, of course, in the last two days there has been a buzzle about a killer/ murderer who-"

The scientist, before he could finish his sentence, fell to the ground, with a shiny dagger stuck precisely in his heart.

Noah and Amelie quickly backed away from the frightening dead body.

Immediately, a dark, black figure appeared in front of the door. They could not distinguish its face.

After a silent stare down the figure rumbled, "Hello Amelie"

"What…?" - whispered Noah, shock written all over his face

"Lukas?" -Amelie was trembling, great fear lacing her voice

"Where have you been?"

"I was looking for my friend, but I don’t think I need to do that anymore."

"I'm sorry Amelie.I-I was caught up in anger, because he always looked down on us! I couldn't take it…"

"Lukas."

"Amelie, please."

Meanwhile, Noah was listening distraught. Lukas had killed his friend of 8 years just for a disagreement between them? He couldn’t believe it. The calm, exceptional and generous Adalheid was gone in a second just because Lukas made a rash decision of murdering him! Seething with the rage he felt for that evil, disastrous janitor, he snapped and in one swift movement, took the dagger from the scientist's body about to stab Lukas and avenge his friend who died in vain. Amelie saw what her friend was about to do,  hurriedly interrupted the action and stopped Noah, who was still trembling with fury.

Amelie did everything she could to try to calm him down, but in vain, so she acted on instinct. The first thing that crossed her mind was to defend her beloved.

She snatched the dagger from Noah's hands and attempted to plunge it into his stomach. However, a voice she thought she wouldn’t hear ever again, halted her movements.

‘’ Are you sure you want to do that?’’ 

Amelie couldn’t believe her ears, that voice was… She abruptly turned to were the voice came from and there he was. Standing in all his glory. 

‘’ Adalheid?’’ 

It seemed like time had stopped for everyone. At the entrance stood a perfectly fine Adalheid, not even a hair out of place.

Noah, being the first one to break the stunned silence immediately went to embrace his friend, tears running freely down his cheeks. Tears of relief, of fear or reassurance that his friend was here, he did not know, really. He was just incredibly glad that Adalheid was here with him again.

‘’Adalheid?... How?’’ - questioned Amelie after seeing the scene in front of her

‘’You know that you can not get rid of me that easily, don’t you, Amelie?’’ - asked Adalheid calmly, smiling, as if he was merely speaking about the weather.

‘’ W-What are you talking about?’’ - quietly demanded Amelie, shocked about the turn of events

‘’ Please quit playing dumb, this joke is getting quite tiring I must say’’

‘’ What do you mean, Adalheid?’’ - inquired Noah, finally having the heart to join in on the conversation. Confusion coloured his voice, he could feel a headache coming his way.

‘’Why, of course Amelie here planned to kill me two days ago.’’

‘’She what!!’’

‘’She staged the whole argument between Lukas and I, indirectly controlling her dear boyfriend and urging him to attempt to hurt me. It did not matter if the hit would be lethal or not, since after that, she would finish the job anyway and blame it all on him. ‘’

Amelie’s breath hitched, so he knew all this time…

‘’But then why did she come here with me? Why in the North Pole’’ - Noah scratched the back of his head, trying to make sense from all of this.

‘’Oh, she didn’t plan that. I did. By making her think over her plan again and again, she made many mistakes along the way. Those are able to prove her crimes.’’

Michael Mercury, named MM, was a famous musician of the 70s, he has been retired for more than 20 years. During his career he has given concerts all over the world .

He lived in Toronto in a big house downtown with his wife Amelia Smith, a rich old woman. She was a landscape painter, she liked painting their garden overlooking the lake. She liked traveling a lot and painting all the landscape. For her birthday, her sister gave her a trip by the sea to the North Pole for two weeks. Micheal and Amelia have wanted to go on this trip for a long time. Amelia wanted to paint all the snowy landscapes. Micheal had a compass that dated back to Napoleon's time he kept in his study together with the saddle of Napoleon's horse. He always wanted to go and see what the compass points to. The trip could take 4 people so they invited their son, Jack Tomson and his wife, Maria Tomson.

Jack was a pet trainer and thanks to his father's success he managed to become a trainer of racing dogs, greyhounds, for very important competitions. Maria instead was a nurse.

They were very excited to go.

It was a hot July day, they woke up at dawn and soon after they left their house to go to the airport from Toronto to San Francisco. When they arrived in San Francisco, they took the boat to the North Pole. The boat was a very luxury cruise with pools, spas, gyms, theaters, cinemas, and starred restaurants.

The vacation started very well, it was a beautiful day and the sea was calm so they spent a nice afternoon at the pool. The next two days were spent between swimming pools, spas, theaters and luxury restaurants. In the pool they met Arthur Jones a prestigious scientist and Mr Rodger that was a janitor of Micheal's house, a family friend. Together they spent beautiful days between laughter and tales of adventures. Everyone had fun but Amelia seemed worried, no one knew what was wrong, not even Micheal.

At dinner Amelia didn’t feel well and she went to bed early.

The evening continued peacefully. They returned to the rooms, happy but very tired and they all fell asleep quickly.

The next morning Amelia didn't go down to breakfast, everyone thought she was painting from the balcony of his suite. But it wasn't like that. It was only in the afternoon that they discovered that she had never actually woken up. Micheal gets scared and immediately called the purser and the ship’s doctor, Jason Moor.

Dr Moor said she was dead. Nobody knew what happened. Not even the doctor could figure out the cause of her death.

Panic broke out throughout the ship, but no one could get off the ship because they were in the middle of the ocean and there weren't any ports near.

The next day the musician's body was found, with a bloody dagger at his side.

The fingerprints found on the dagger match Jack's, so security immediately arrested him, even though he pleads innocent

On the desk they found a will written with the peacock feather that Michael always carried with him as an amulet. The will said that the inheritance will go to his son Jack.

Having read the inheritance Jack’s doubts arised, because he knew that his father wanted to leave his collection of memorabilia to the faithful janitor Mr Rodger.

Arthur testified that Jack had been very strange for some time and Maria said that in the hours of the musician's death, Jack was not with her.

Jack manages to contact his lawyer Henry Cadogan who helps him clear his name.

Arrived at the nearest port, Jack was released, Maria and Arthur were arrested instead and considered accomplices.

Filled with remorse, Arthur told the truth. It was he who had prepared the lethal poison. He had found the recipe in a 1300s cookbook to help Maria in her plan. Maria’ plan was, kill Jack’s parents, frame him and take the entire inheritance because she discovered that Jack cheated on her and she would take revenge.

Finally after this nightmare Jack is free.

Months after the arrest of Arthur and Maria, Jack has donated part of the inheritance to charity in an association that helps musicians as his father would have wanted; while the other part in another association that helped abandoned and injured animals.

This made him a better man and helped him remember his father.

This school was a little bit far away from the center of the village. 

The kids who went there were spoiled and rich and they always got really high marks, and also had good jobs.

 There was also a rumor that the janitor, whose name was Cole, was a little bit crazy, but those were only just rumors.

One day, a new kid entered the school. His name was Joseph, and he was 11 years old, although he was young, he was really dumb. 

The first day he entered, he wasn’t received nicely, because of the way he was dressed, he forgot he had to wear a uniform, so lots of people made fun of him. So they decided to prank him. After the break, the popular group of the school threw him slime and after it, they threw feathers, so he ended up looking like a chicken. They started laughing at him, but Joseph started laughing too. A girl, whose name was Josefina, called the nurse to help him. The nurse wasn't very good at doing her job because she didn't like it. She was  lazy so she took a long time to arrive. After the nurse came in, the popular group was already gone. In the last period, Joseph was already cleaned and ready to leave. As he was walking through the hallways, he listened to some things dropping on the floor. He wondered what was going on, so he entered the room where the sound was coming from. 

When he entered, the first thing he saw was a cookbook of Arguiñano on the floor. When he looked at the person in front of him, he saw the girl who had called the nurse.

 She was cooking. The kitchen was all nasty and disgusting, although it smelled really good. He asked her what she was doing when she replied saying that she was baking a cake for her grandfather who was ill in the hospital, and that she wanted to give him something to make him happy, so he decided to help her and they ended up being friends. Later, he went along with her by going to the hospital and visiting her grandfather. The moment  she saw her grandad, they got so happy to see each other, when they gave him the cake he got even happier. He had a present for her, which was a compass. He told her that it would help her and bring her luck during hard times.

The next day, they went to the music club. They were playing the guitar with a Spanish musician, Craig. He created the club because he really liked playing the guitar and wanted more people to join. When they got their sheet music, in the last paragraph there were some coordinates, so they talked about it and they decided to follow those coordinates. When the lesson finished they went to take a break. 

They started to follow the coordinates (216) that lead to the scientist room. They decided to enter when they saw the scientist.  He wasn't very good looking, but he was very smart  and reserved . They asked him whether he knew what coordinates were about. He remembered seeing those coordinates somewhere else, but he didn’t know where. Then Joseph did something really dumb.

 He took the compass and he put in big laboratory test tubes which had liquids on them. He had never been in a laboratory before so he wanted to try something he saw in a film. Before Josefina could stop him, the compass was destroyed . Josefina got really angry at him, as he had broken her compass that was gifted to her by her grandad! Then Josefina saw there were little tiny pieces ,they decided to take those to see what they meant, they discovered that they were other coordinates. Josefina put them in her pocket. After that, the scientist realized where he had seen them, he remembered seeing them in the janitor's house, he went there last week when he invited him to drink tea. The scientist and the janitor weren't friends, so the scientist thought that the janitor was a bit suspicious and wanted to know more about him. The janitor's house was a little bit strange: its walls were full of stuffed animals' heads.

 

When the classes ended,

Joseph decided to go to a gift shop to buy Josefina a new compass. The next day, Joseph gave her the compass and asked for forgiveness, she was so happy and immediately, they went to follow the coordinates that were left in the lab’s test tubes with the new compass. Those led to the stables which were outside the school, when they entered, they heard a horse screaming. They saw the horse with a bloody saddler, Josefina knew how to handle the horse, she managed to calm it down. Finally, when the horse calmed down, they saw the janitor enter the stable. When he saw them, he asked; -what are you doing here?- Josefina thought not to tell anybody about the coordinates because all of that was really suspicious, so she told him they were looking for some horses to ride -but Joseph said that she was lying, he said that they were there because they were following the coordinates. The janitor got alarmed, it was like he got a scary warning. Suddenly, Josefina was really angry at Joseph, but then he asked the janitor what he was doing there. He was carrying a shovel, he waited a little bit until he responded- I’m here to clean the feces of the horses.  Then he quickly got out of there. Josefina decided to follow the janitor while Joseph stayed there watching the horse. The janitor arrived at his house, and when he was about to close the door, Josefina held the door. She waited a little bit, and then she entered. She got frightened when she saw all the blood in the ground. She started looking around when she saw the dagger with blood. In the meantime in the stable, Joseph heard someone screaming for help, he wondered where those screams were coming from, so he started to follow them. He saw lots of fodder rolls, and he started to take them away, when the fodder started to go away, it started to look like there was a body, there also was blood. Although he was scared, he kept going. Suddenly, the screams stopped, he found a lady laying down on the ground. She was still bleeding.He was surprised and frightened but he decided to take her and go ask for help. In the meantime, Josefina started looking around for help but she couldn’t find anybody. She went back inside in order to find where the blood was coming from. When she entered again, she started to look for clues. When she entered the living room, she saw a painting with some coordinates on it. Later,  she got surprised and frightened when she saw a corpse laying on the ground so she decided to get out of there before the janitor found out. As she was running , she came across Joseph who was still taking care of the unknown lady. They both agreed to go to the nearest police department . As they were about to go in, they met the musician, Craig . He got really shocked and started to panic. He decided to go find the janitor even though the kids warned him that this could be dangerous . When he finally got close to his house, the police were already on their way to investigate the school. What they found was so shocking so they called for backup and ordered them to arrest Cole at his house. The only one they found was the musician who told them that the janitor seemed to have disappeared. As they were investigating his house, the policemen came across the dead body that Josefina had seen earlier. That person was later identified as the school’s nurse.

The next day the school was locked up and the news had gone public. The janitor was nowhere to be found even though the police were searching all around the area. A few days had passed when Joseph and Josefina were walking together to school when they suddenly saw the janitor disguised as a homeless person, sleeping on a bench. Joseph, as furious as he was, tried to go confront him and potentially even fight him. On the other hand Josefina , who was more calm, argued that they should inform the police without the janitor knowing that they had seen him. After a while they ended up following her idea. Before the police could find their exact location a car with foreign plates came and picked Cole up. The police thought that the two kids had pulled a prank on them so they called their parents. Not even them did believe what they were saying so the children ended up getting grounded for a month. They were both really angry because the janitor had gotten away again. Everyone started losing their hope as they thought that he should have moved to another country so that they could never arrest him. Joseph and Josefina were put under a lot of pressure after their “false” accusations because some people had made up a conspiracy theory which said that they were the ones who killed the two women. But fortunately this was not taken seriously by most people so the kids weren’t in danger for long. 

Joseph and Josefina were really concerned about this situation and they spent sleepless nights thinking about it. They wanted to find the janitor at all costs! In the meantime, they were grounded. They thought that probably in the crime scene there was at least something or someone who could help them. The crime scene was in the stable, so the only person who could help them was the one who worked there: the pet trainer. The pet trainer was called Paul and he came from Italy. He seemed to be a very intrusive guy, but in fact he was a really kind person and he always tried to help everyone. When the kids were finally released from being grounded they immediately went for the pet trainer, so Joseph picked his bike and with Josefina both went to the stable. When they arrived at the stable, they immediately saw the pet trainer. He was feeding the horses. They asked him if he knew anything about the janitor. He answered that he didn’t know anything about him. Josefina didn’t trust him because she once saw them talking with each other. Joseph wanted to leave because it started to smell bad. But Josefina didn’t want to leave, so she started to ask a couple questions. She noticed that he was starting to feel nervous. After a while, they left the stable. 

The next day, Joseph and Josefina were going to the school. After the first lessons, in the break, they found out that the pet trainer wasn’t there. They went to ask a teacher where he was, they answered that he couldn’t come because of the traffic. Josefina didn’t believe that so she went to the secretary to see if they had records of where he lived. When the receptionist went to take a break they went running to search for those records, they found out that he lived near the school, exactly, 5 minutes away from school. After school finished, they decided to go to his house. When they started to see the house, it seemed like there were two people trying to get out of there, one of them was holding the other one. It looked like they wanted to go to a car.

Finally, when they got closer, they could see that the pet trainer, Paul. He was helping Cole to enter the car. Josefina couldn’t believe it and started to panic, Joseph was really angry and started to run straight to them. When Joseph got closer, the janitor noticed him and he turned around to see who it was.

The second he turned around, Joseph’s fist was in his face, he was about to punch him. Joseph punched him hard on his face. The janitor fell while the pet trainer, Paul, was shocked. When Josefina started to get better, she called the cops, but this time, she didn’t tell them her name, she just said that it was really urgent. Paul started to run away, but Joseph didn’t mind because he did what he wanted to do for  now. When the cops came and saw what happened, they asked for forgiveness because they didn’t believe them the first time. When the janitor got conscious, he was already in the cops car. Then he started to scream- I should have killed both of you when I could!- The cops were forgiven by Joseph and Josefina, and they even got a prize for catching him! 

Everyone in school wanted to talk to them, they turned out to be popular. 

When they got into class, there was a cop waiting for them, he said that they found out that the janitor killed the nurse because she cheated on him with the pet trainer, Paul. That’s why the nurse was killed. Joseph asked them if they knew anything about Paul, they answered that they saw him escaping. When they got him, he confessed that he was threatened by the janitor, he said that he told him that if he had helped him, he would let him live. He was scared and that’s why he tried to escape. That’s the reason why he helped him; he appreciated his life a lot and he didn’t want to die, but he got in prison for helping a criminal. 

It turned out that the janitor was violent and abusive towards the nurse because he was mentally unstable, so after his sentence he was transferred to a psychiatric hospital. About the pet trainer, he had a sentence of five years in prison, he went into depression and he felt really guilty for what he did.

In the meantime Joseph and Josefina were really happy to be the ones that solved the crime and all the teachers recognised their courage so they gave them a gold medal to each of them as an award. 

Five years later…

Josefina and Joseph fell in love so they got married and had two beautiful children. They began to work together as detectives and policemen because after what happened in their childhood, they wanted to help people.

Josefina still wonders where the coordinates were from. She asked herself if her grandad was maybe also involved, as well as the musician,  but she doesn’t want to overthink about it or get involved again, so it will always be a mystery.

On a normal day in a remote high school located in the Lakes District of Canada, a sudden crime was committed. Will was the one calling the police. He discovered the victim while he was walking his dog. He heard a shout but he didn't know where it came from, so he kept walking. The second time he heard more shouting and he headed toward the place the shouting was coming from. As he continued to search, he heard an alarm sounding, it seemed like it was coming from a school. In fact, he recognized this alarm  it was coming from the high school he worked at. Will  went running in to check what was happening; as he entered the school, he started looking for the person who  was screaming. He then turned off the alarm and continued looking for the person. He searched in all the classrooms but he couldn’t find anyone. He was about to give up when suddenly,  he heard a low voice coming from the science lab, so he headed for the lab and found the body covered in blood. He immediately called the school nurse.  She tried her best to help the man that was bleeding, but he was in such bad conditions that the nurse couldn’t do anything to help him, so Will desperately called the ambulance. They took the body  to  the hospital as fast as they could, but the man passed away before reaching the hospital. Then, the police arrived and tried to calm Will.  They started asking him questions about what happened, what he was doing and if he saw someone apart from the body that was in the laboratory.  He explained that no one was around when he found the body, so he went to call for help all around the school; he fortunately met the science lab’s professor, Marco in the hall.  Will immediately reached the lab while the Nurse was trying to save the man and called the ambulance.  The next day, when Anna, the director  of the high school arrived, she was surprised and confused because of the police patrols that were surrounding the school. She approached  one of the policemen, then she asked what happened and why they were there.  The police explained what happened and advised her to close the school, at least until this case would have been solved.  

The next day, Will, traumatized about what happened, asked Marco to meet him at a coffee shop  to talk about it. The man accepted.

After he ordered his usual cappuccino, they started talking.

<<Hi Marco, how are you? I couldn’t sleep last night.>> 

<<Me neither.>> Said the man << I’ve never seen such a terrible sight in my entire life!>>.

Marco, taken by concern, said to the guy <<Will, I have to tell you something really important.>>

Will wondered about Marco’s phrase. Then he said <<Tell me.>>

<<When I was helping the Nurse I did something that I would have never done. I took the dagger that was used to kill Edward.>>

<<What?>> Will  was astonished. What did Marco do? Why did he take the dagger?

 << I… I thought it would be useful to find out who the murderer was.>> Justified Marco before Will could ask him. He really looked like he wanted to help, so Will didn’t question his suspicious actions  anymore.

<<That’s all you could find in the crime scene? What else did you take?>> He asked Marco.

<<Nothing, that’s all I took, I swear!>>

<<Fine, but you shouldn’t have done that, police works better with these kinds of things.>> Will told him off.  

<<So, what should we do now?>> Marco said

<<I don’t know, I guess we could start with the dagger. Do you still have that microscope that helps you collect samples from objects ?>>

<< Yes, it is in the school laboratory, no one touched it.>>

In the laboratory they found a feather on the floor, and they tried finding out whose it was; but after thinking a lot, they couldn’t find it.

The next day they arranged a meeting at Will’s workplace. Marco arrived and before Will presented at the place, he threw the dagger into a chest where there was riding equipment, on a saddle: therefore Will, since he worked with animals, treated different animals, especially those who participated at competitive races.

<<Sorry I arrived this late, I was pretty busy.>> Said Will just after he crossed the door.

<<No problem, I just arrived too.>> Said Marco smiling at Will.

<<Are you hungry?>> asked Will. 

<<We can go over to my kitchen to eat, I’ve got a lot of delicious recipes from my grandmother's cookbook. >>

<<Thanks, but I rather we continue with the investigation first.>> answered Marco.

Then they proceed to go to the school and continue investigating. At the crime scene, they found a broken compass apart from the feather. Strange, the compass looked a lot like Kate’s antique  relic… And didn’t she have a jacket with the same feather type they found? 

Suddenly, Will understood everything. 

<< KATE IS THE MURDERER!!!>> he shouted in surprise and anger.

<<Well, looks like you found out our little secret… Now I’ll have to kill you so you don’t warn the authorities!!!>> Marco said while taking the dagger out of the chest he put it in some moments ago.

<<Marco, why? Why are you doing this?>> Will said.

<<BECAUSE I LOVE HER! I LOVE HER BUT SHE LOVES YOU! That’s why she killed Edward, because he was flirting with you!>> growled Marco at Will.

<<What…?>> Edward was surprised for the second time.

<<I don’t expect you to understand me, so now stay still and let me kill you!>> Marco attacked Will with the dagger but he dodged him. 

Suddenly, Will grabbed Marcos’s hand and with an incredible movement, he immobilized him and put him to the ground. Then, he took the dagger out of his hand and reached into his pocket, he took out his mobile phone and called the police.

That's how this story ends; Marco and Kate were taken to prison, and John, the school's janitor and Will, remained in charge of the school.   

Filled with betrayal, Evelyn decides to end her life by jumping on the lake and eventually drowns herself. Two days later, Charlotte, who is Evelyn’s best friend, starts to get worried as she can’t get in contact with her and asks Albert, her partner, for help. Albert starts searching for Evelyn and the first place he decided to look for was the lake district, since he knew that she used to go there to help his friend Daniel. As he gets there, with the help of a compass, he sees something floating on the lake and decides to take a closer look, taking a small boat that is near the shore. As he gets closer, he realizes the floating item is indeed Evelyn’s body and next to it there’s a horse sleeping. He quickly takes the dead body of her girlfriend's friend to the nearest house, which is Daniel’s house. But Daniel wasn't in his house, actually he was nowhere to be seen, just like he had  disappeared, but they noticed that his horse had the saddle on, so he must have left recently. Alas, Daniel was aware that Evelyn died, as that was the talk of the town. Luckily Brooke had teached him how to ride a horse, so he took advantage of that, hopped on the saddle and ran off with the horse. When Albert informed Charlotte of the unfortunate fact, she went out of her mind, crying and pulling her hair out of frustration. She wanted to talk to Daniel about what had just happened but he didn't even answer the phone. So Charlotte started suspecting him and connecting Evelyn's death with Daniel being out of touch. At this point Albert and Charlotte started investigating Evelyn's death and searching for information about Daniel and any possible witness. They had thought of starting the search by looking at the surveillance cameras at Daniel’s house but as they weren’t able to get a hold of him they couldn’t. Albert knew Brooke worked with Daniel so of course his sister was the first person he went up to. He went to Brooke’s Pet studio to ask for her assistance. Brooke was reading a cookbook,  very likely to make dinner for her brother.

Albert asks Brooke if she knows that Daniel’s wife, Evelyn, is dead, she says ‘’I didn’t know, Daniel disappeared, I haven’t heard from him in days.” Then Albert asks Brooke when was the last time she saw him. Brooke was as clueless as everyone else with the situation, still she told him that the last time she saw him was in his own house. Having no clues, Albert decided to go to his laboratory and brought Brooke with him. Albert was a genius scientist and had lots of experience helping the police with dead victims' bodies. He worked with Charlotte, as she was a janitor and helped clean his lab once in a while. Daniel was the first person everyone suspected of, so he decided to take Evelyn’s dead body and examined her. Oddly there weren’t any signs of fracture or injuries so they could deduce that no dagger nor weapon was used. Strangely they found a feather, possibly from a duck, stuck in her hair which was very weird. So they moved to the next step, which was to scan her fingerprints.  Unfortunately, they couldn’t find any track that could indicate who was last with her. So they decided to search for more clues. Albert was sure something didn’t add up and he suspected Daniel due to his odd behavior and his disappearance. Later that day he made his way to Daniel’s lake house and he broke into it. He started searching thoroughly for even the smallest evidence that pointed out Daniel as the person who was behind all of this. He didn’t find what he was looking for, instead he found a crumpled paper under the carpet along with Evelyn’s wedding ring. It was addressed to Daniel:

     I never expected this from you… How dare you cheat on me with Brooke? I have always been there for you and treated you with respect. I can no longer live in this world knowing that all this time I was married to a liar. So this is my last goodbye to you. Just know that with my death not only one life will be lost but two.

With this note Albert realised that not only Evelyn committed suicide and Daniel was the reason, but she was also pregnant with Daniel’s baby. 

    It all started on a common day like every other day, it didn't have anything special, until the afternoon of 14th January 2019 on the Lake  District. A middle aged scientist named Mark decided to go to search for minerals around the Lake District. He was always wearing a pair of black glasses, he usually wore green jumpers and he was also tall and bald. We only know that he was searching for some concrete elements, and he was suddenly found dead. It’s the most rare case of murder of the year 2019 that no one get to solve the mysterious case to this day. One day, a pet trainer and a musician decided to solve the mystery. The musician was really tall and skinny, long beard, long hair tied up and also a filthy man. His name was Vincent. The pet trainer was almost the opposite of the musician, he was a fat and short man, no beard and also short hair, he was not really athletic, and he was named Oliver. The only thing that the two guys had in common was that they both smoked and they both had their hands yellow caused by smoking. But was it the only thing Vincent and Oliver had in common? 

    When they finally had the chance to go to the Lake District to find evidence, they went there and they found a cottage. Vincent and Oliver had fun together. After a while, they discovered that in the cottage there was someone living, and that person was a janitor. The janitor was a grown up man with blue glass eyes. He was also a hunchback and he had some little gray hair. He was scary due to the fact that he had a dark and thin face. His name was Jeff. Oliver and Vincent questioned Jeff, but the information wasn’t valuable, but the only fact  that was considered was the nurse that came to ‘’save’’ the scientist. Therefore, since they had no proof, they went away. They decided to go to the hospital to look for a really attractive and young nurse with long brown hair and big brown eyes named Taiana. As they found her, they tried to talk with her, but she didn’t want to because she said that she was ‘’busy’’ doing something. Both of them had permission to look up her things. As soon as they found the Taianas’ locker, they looked at it. Surprisingly, there was a compass, and they took it. They also saw her purse, and when they looked in it, they found a strange cookbook, and they took the cookbook too. Before leaving, they asked her where she found the compass, and she said that she found it on Marks’ hand when she went to save him. When they arrived home, they looked better at those things, and in the cookbook, there was a plan of a cottage, it was Marks’ cottage plan! They quickly went to the cottage, and they took the opportunity of getting in it when Jeff came out absurdly and oddly confused, arrested him and searched the house. They looked under the mat and found an area under the cottage: there was a secret laboratory. The two detectives were completely shocked. They entered the room, collected some tapes on the floor and found out the plan behind it: with the machines in the laboratory, which are able to intoxicate the nervous system of the human, Taiana had hypnotized Jeff, who went to stab Mark to death with a dagger. Taiana used her advanced technology so as to get her lover killed and get away with it, since she knew that the evidence found on the crime scene would have directed mainly to him. In no time, the three men went to the hospital where Taiana worked so as to arrest her. However, she escaped and tried in vain to cover the evidence against her by destroying the entire laboratory. She noticed something strange: the tapes were missing. Taiana, despite this, hadn’t paid attention to it due to the hurry. Once everything had been demolished, Vincent, Oliver and Jeff bumped into the house and handcuffed the criminal, who was taken by surprise, since, in five minutes, they came back to the cottage. 

   Taiana, after three hearings, has been sentenced to life in prison without parole, while Jeff, since he had no consciousness of his actions, was released. Thanks to the cookbook found in Taiana’s locker, the government had the possibility to keep everyone away from committing detrimental actions. Jeff came back to his daily life, while Oliver and Vincent received an award for the case solved and they have been acclaimed by the locals and the government. After spending a few months in prison, Taiana tried to escape several times from there, but she didn’t succeed. When they questioned her again to make her give more details about the murder, she told them that the secret laboratory was used by her to do experiments on animals, and that’s the reason why in a corner of the laboratory there were stuff like feathers, saddles, and a lot of other things  belonging to animals. But, she didn’t say the real reason why she wanted to kill Mark. Would it always be a secret? Why did she make a machine to intoxicate the nervous system of humans if she was only doing experiments on animals? Did she only use that fact as an excuse? It’s obvious that she wasn’t telling the truth. Would she ever tell us? We would never know it.. or yes?

   After a while of being in prison, Taiana decided to confess something outrageous that was going to be her alibi. It was found by her lawyer that she was hospitalized in a psychiatric asylum and that she had bipolar disorder. Taiana during that period of time didn’t take her medicines and the consequences were severe. For that reason, she was mentally unstable and she wasn’t capable of controlling her emotions. Taiana was jealous of one of his female friend and she couldn’t think clearly. As a result she killed Mark. Her lawyer decided to get her out of the prison and make her go to a clinic that was going to help her recover.

The secret association: the avalanche, were camping in the North Pole for the discovery of mysterious fossils of an ancient creature. The head of the operation was the eclectic scientist Helmer, of German origins. He hoped that the founding of those fossils could bring humanity to a greater future and even immortality. The association was housed in a bunker under their command, where they had several scientists working there since months before. There they were protecting a family of special penguins that were in danger of extinction thanks to the bounty hunters. Their feathers had a magnetic field, so they used compasses which were deflected in their direction.There was a big tornado outside during the research and all the members of the operation were blocked inside the bunker. Makayla was the pet trainer who was in charge of caring for and feeding the penguins.;they were the last of the species because bounty hunters were decimating all of them in the recent years for their rares feathers.

One day the musician, Makayla's brother, went to the bathroom and when he opened one of the cubicles he found the body of one of the scientists with his throat slit. Hans, frightened, ran to tell his colleagues, who were shocked and frightened because they knew that the murderer was among them. The scientists analyzed the corpse of their colleague and came to the conclusion that his throat had been slit by a knife or similar weapon. Upon learning this, everyone began to search the bunker for the murder weapon without obtaining any result because the murderer had hidden it. After so much searching the musician went to the library to relax a bit after so much stress and as he took out his favorite novel the cookbook next to it fell to the floor opening up and revealing a bloody dagger.-The musician quickly went to notify his classmates of his discovery with such bad luck that the first person he told was the janitor, who, upset, attacked him. After an intense fight, the janitor managed to strangle the musician, but the musician managed to scratch the janitor's arm, leaving a notorious mark on it. The scientists could not hear the din of the fight due to the thickness of the walls. After the fight Robert quickly hid the dagger in a temporary location. A few hours later the scientists and Makayla, noticing the absence of the musician, began to look for him and found him after a while. After those two sudden deaths a state of fear and panic began to spread among the inhabitants of the bunker causing a massive distrust to spread. People began to distrust each other, to such an extent that they did not even trust the people they had been working with for years, which caused some arguments and fights. After a week Makayla managed to appease the people and convince them that they had to find the murderer with the clues they had. Analyzing the body they found that the musician had skin between his fingernails but unfortunately they did not have the devices to identify the owner but instead revealed that the murderer had a scratch. Robert, when he realized that they were checking people for a scratch, decided to pour a corrosive cleaning product on his arm with the intention of covering up the scratch because he knew that if he was discovered it would be the end of him. Robert screamed out in pain attracting the attention of his partners who quickly approached and took him to the nurse Isabella. This saved him from being discovered, but some of the scientists were a little suspicious because they had not found anyone with a scratch and it was a great coincidence that Robert had been burned by the cleaning products before checking him. Robert, knowing that he hadn't gotten away with it completely, informed his accomplice, Helmer, who was one of the scientists, and he managed to divert the attention of his companions. 

The janitor decided to change the hiding place of the dagger to a saddle that was adorning the wall of Makayla's bedroom, where no one would look for it because of the little suspicions about it. After a few days when there was no longer so much commotion in the bunker Robert decided to continue searching for the penguins with the compass, as they were in a secret room for their safety. The janitor while looking for the compass bumped into one of the scientists, causing him to drop the compass on the floor and break it. This frustrated him and made him very angry, but there were so many people so he couldn't retaliate and had to pretend that he didn't care too much. The scientist apologized and went to rest in his bedroom. Robert, hearing that the scientist was in his bedroom alone, saw the ideal opportunity for his revenge, so he went to his bedroom with the dagger he had hidden and killed him while he slept. But as he left the room another of the scientists who was passing by saw him, lucky enough to haven't been seen. The scientist could see that the janitor had blood on his clothes, which made him suspicious and decided to hide so when he left he could enter the room. Upon entering the bedroom he found the body of his friend lying on the floor between bloody sheets. This confirmed his suspicions and he quickly went to notify his companions about the body and the identity of the murderer.

When the people found out about all this, they quickly went after the janitor and found him while he was wiping the blood from his clothes. The janitor without saying a word attacked the scientists trying not to get caught but despite being stronger the scientists were more so they ended up capturing the murderer. Despite the different opinions they put him to a vote, some said that he should be executed for the horrible murders he committed and others that he should be locked up until they were rescued so that the law could take care of him. After a close vote, those who supported keeping him alive won by one vote. The scientists locked him in one of the store rooms, although he didn't seem to mind since he thought that his accomplice would free him and he could finish with the scientists as revenge. But great was his surprise when he realized that Helmer had betrayed him, at that moment he became desperate because he knew that as soon as they were rescued from that bunker he would be put on trial and sentenced to life in prison. The scientists fed him through a crack in the door through which the food platters passed. The accomplice instead of keeping quiet used to instigate the murderer with the intention that he would commit suicide because if the janitor went to trial he would probably turn him in for betraying him. So one day he hid a blade in his food so that when he found it after being instigated for so many days he would commit suicide, And so it was, the next day they found his corpse with cuts on his wrists, but not the blade, because Helmer had removed it from the scene of the crime. The scientists searched for the possible weapon with which he cut his wrists, but when they did not find it in the room, they stopped looking. Within a week rescue teams arrived to rescue them. The news that scientists had been locked up for so long in a bunker with a murderer quickly spread around the world and became famous.

On a Sunday night in February, a group of random people were informed about a meeting which was going to happen the following Monday, but what they didn’t know was that this meeting was all a trap to lock them in a Castle. The group has two options, solve the riddle and survive or die, only one person will live and he/she will win a lot of money. The characters met in an airport near Russia, where they got to know a little bit about one another.

The group was formed by 5 people who were totally different.

After a few hours waiting for some information, they all got a message on the phone telling them they had to go to some coordinates, but with one rule, they had to  go by themselves with a concrete means of transport. Franka used her intelligence and the sense of direction to follow a dirt road, and found the castle. Apophis was a great scientist, he used his talent and knowledge to create a teleportation machine. Ilary: Since the castle was on the other side of the lake, she found  some logs, she built a raft with a sail, really a great work, but only after a few miles from the coast it turned out to be a stupid move! The lake was a glacier! She probably forgot that she was in the north pole :')

Tatiana since she feels safe with animals, she went on a sleigh pulled by wolves.

Lucas: he went into the woods,a  really  stupid move, as he risked being attacked by werewolves!

Nikolai was waiting for the  participants at the castle.

The moment everyone met up again, they were introduced to the castle and to the trial from a radio in the middle of the living room, which explained that they were trapped in an experiment from a crazy multimillionaire who was the owner of the castle. Panicking, the keeper Nikolai helps everyone to calm down.

Before starting the escape room, Nikolai explains what the royal family who lived there looked like. He talked about all four members; the king, the queen, the princess and the prince. He said that the king was the strangest member, he was reserved and discreet but very aggressive. There was a rumour which said that the king killed his parents and brothers for the simple reason of punishing him. The queen was more normal, but she was too in love with the king to notice his peculiarities. She was obedient, and quiet. The princess was polite and talkative, she also was passionate about ballet. She realised that her family was very unusual (she wrote all the madness her family did in her diary) and  because of that the king didn’t support her. However, the prince was a reflection of his dad, but he couldn’t talk so he couldn’t be as aggressive as his father, but he paid for his madness with his sister.After that, a voice emerges from the radio again. 

(1st riddle) While hearing the voice say the first riddle, a compass appears on one side of the room, in a little box. Everyone asks,”What the hell is going on!” but they don’t get any answers, so, trying to figure out the riddle. Lucas, the veterinarian, founds that the compass is a little weird, and that it marks like the north is in two different sites at the same time, after everyone discussing why that could be, they figure out that in two of the wall there is a giant magnet behind, and that’s what attracts the compass. After some time, they find out that the rooms' walls are shrinking, and Apophys, the Egyptian, figures out the compass gets crazy in front of a family picture, immediately after they cut it in half they discover a secret hall, and they all get saved just in time.

(2nd riddle) They arrive to a hall which is decorated with a lot of lost warrior armors. One armour (the one who has a golden helmet) starts talking and congrating them for passing the first riddle. Then explains that they will have to get across the hall without a spear falling on them. They discover the floor has 3 different  patterns and they have to guess which way they go, the scientist Apophis is the first one trying to go across the hall following the patron he thought was the right one but in the middle of the path a spear falls into his head and he dies. After his death, they have to guess which of the other two is and they pass.

(3rd riddle) They appear in an old crazy kitchen, where they see all types of pottery and items fly around. One butler is standing in the middle of the kitchen, advertising the players the need to make a meal for 3 people in less than 2 minutes, he also mentions that the last dynasty living there had a strange fetish about cannibalism. The players then decide not to cook anything, but after 2 minutes, one butler enters and takes a knife to cut the arm of the veterinarian, leaving them no choice but to cook it. When trying to take one flying pottery, one cookbook landed on Franka’s hands. It contained an old recipe of a tasteful steak, but in the ingredients instead of “steak” it appeared “male arm”. A little traumatised and with the veterinarian bleeding they succeeded in cooking and went to the next door to serve the recently made food.

(4th riddle) When they get to a dining room with the cooked arm, they find 3 butlers sitting in a triangle table. The butler who had advised them before, presented again and explained that only one person is hungry, but they don’t tell that they want it or not, they each tell a riddle and the players have to guess: 

After they choose the correct answer, the butler eats the meal and with a smile leaves the room, the other two butlers following him out. Then, the one who explained everything guided them to a dark hall.

(5th riddle) After passing through the door, the butler closes it and they all get there in a very dark hall. While they all were wondering how to continue, a voice similar to the one in the radio started to speak again “Congratulations on feeding the poor hungry man, he needed that piece of steak you gave him, now, you guys are in a long dark hall, as you might notice. The only way to escape is opening the doors that could possibly get you to an exit, good luck!” While they were hearing that, a little flashlight dropped from the ceiling. Tania took it and turned it on, revealing an ultraviolet light, which revealed some arrows and text messages written on the wall. There were some messages telling that it wasn’t possible to go through alive, while having some arrows around pointing to possible swords hanging from the lamps on the ceiling. Then, they point at several doors across the hall. Franka goes and opens one door, but a spider jumps over her, making her scream. Afterwards some steps are heard around the door located across the hall. They all get around and hear a childish song coming through the door. Other steps are heard near another door and they approach. While there, they hear a man singing an opera song, and when the man stopped singing, they heard another steps, but this time running. Behind this last door, they hear a child laughing and trying to sing the song from a little radio they could vaguely. (At first they try to go to the opera guy room, but then, Lucas the veterinarian remembered what Nikolai said, guiding them to the initial room and guessing the answer)

(6th riddle) Just entering the room, they noticed that it was decorated in a very childish way, the colours and paintings also made reference to the princess, so, they believed it was the one living there. Everything there was purple except the ceiling and a bookshelf, this ones being white. Franka approached the bookshelf and looked at it vaguely, without noticing anything special. But then, Lucas took a look at it, he saw an old diary. He opened it with his remaining hand and read it. It contained a lot of information about the royal family and about the traps they had already overcomed. It also had the hint for a strange maze located in the garden, but nothing too revealing. The diary also contained a light feather, Franka took it and deduced it was used to write, seconds later she inked it and wrote a question on the diary “How can we escape from here?”

(7th riddle) Franka's intuition was correct, a trap door below them opened. They realised that the only way to go down was by a rope, so they had to climb down off it. The group started going down one by one, until it was Lucas’ time, he tried to go down little by little but he tripped and fell down. Those were his last instances of life. After being desperate about what to do, they  found themselves directly in the large garden of the royal castle. The only way to escape safely from the castle was to pass through that dark and dangerous maze. After a few metres of walking, they had already taken the wrong road, it was full of traps!

Franka led the group and tripped over a transparent thread, the path became covered in quicksand and the walls of the labyrinth closed, they were stuck there. Tatiana, the animal trainer had an idea, probably not the best, but she thought: "sink or swim"!

According to her, the only solution was to call the wolves from the woods with a special call, in the hope that the good ones would come to their rescue. Everything was going wrong, the werewolves heard the call and rushed to the scene, attacked Tiana and the others. Panicking and with incredible strength, they managed to escape, and make their way back to the castle.

(8th riddle) Players, scared and worried about Tiana return, found waze plans to escape. 

(8th riddle)The quicksand had consumed them and they fell down in a little pool. The views down there were beautiful, the water was reluctant and the walls were covered in a million different types of crystals. The pool had a little exit on one side, so the two of the lasting players were conducted to a little room. It wasn’t as beautiful as the pool, but it looked bigger. They found one door on the other side of the room, but this one was impossible to reach, due to a giant abyss. They only found an old tree which looked like it had been there even before the castle was made. Franka had an idea, she thought of cutting it and making it fall so they could reach the other side. “The one playing” agreed and they tried to find something to cut the tree with. Franka casually found an axe, but it was very small and they would have spent ages cutting in that way, so they went to find another one, but, as they were searching for anything else, the axe emitted an extremely high pitch sound which made both of them fall on the floor. Franka tried to shut it down but she couldn’t and she started swearing things like “This wasn’t supposed to happen! How are you doing this to me!” The player was confused, and he/she archived to make the axe shut up. 

(8th riddle) In the meantime the other players, scared and worried about Tatiana, fell down from the quicksand, where there was a little pool, they were traumatised and under shock. After a few minutes when they recovered, they explored the small room with the pool, looking for Tatiana, but she wasn't there.

In the small room there was a little damaged door, they opened it but it was all dark, they couldn’t see anything; somehow luck came their way, Franka had the last match in his pocket, they could finally see something. After looking up and down the room, they found an old map, they had discovered a book with advice and the map of the maze! Suddenly, a rough voice emerged from the door behind them. An old lady appeared behind them, talking in a language they didn’t understand. The lady looked very happy, finally there was someone who could take her out of there. Meanwhile, Franka and *Player* were impacted about seeing a living person there. The lady was a ghost called Ilary, and years ago had lived in the castle. She had been mocked years ago because she couldn’t escape from the castle, after many times she succeeded and had created this short book with advice and a map to help people to escape from the maze. Franka and the players took the book and ran quickly in the maze. Thanks to the ghost’s book they escaped from the castle. Nikolai discovers they escaped and he went to talk, but Franka saw him approaching and she started panicking. So, she took a gun she had hid on a near bush and she shot him. Later on the police founds out what had happened there and detained both of the players.
