i see this role as a means of personal tarbiyah; building my own character, leadership skills, and relationship with Allah through serving the muslim community in NUS.

i also aim to develop prophetic values of shura, compassion, humility, and wisdom into my leadership style, following the best of examples, Rasulullah s.a.w

within our own team, i want to be open-minded and receptive to other povs so i can help foster an environment where difficult topics can be addressed with adab, empathy, and without any fear of judgement

then for the wider community, i want to be more mindful and sincere in the way i serve, so that i can be an example of what i hope to see more of in MS; a community that grows with purpose and intention, not just performance for the resume heh

InsyaAllah one of the things that I would like to do is to work with Kashyfi in order to understand how life was like from before the 58th and documenting and understanding why certain initiatives have come to be. On top of that, I will work with him to build a better handover kit to the next Head of Programmes so that individual can be better guided and so that that individual can also learn how to guide their programmes team.

To be always in the remembrance of Him in all that we do. To adopt the mannerisms and adab of our Beloved Prophet ﷺ so that I will be able to obtain the connection with Him.

In Shura, aside from my handover duties to the next President, will be to act as a advisory figure to the PVPs to ensure that they are supported well and kept in check. And of course to delve into and discuss matters of the community and issues that will be beneficial for the community

To hopefully solve the question of what it truly means to be a member of MS. Being in this position grants me a wider view of things as an overseeing party.

Hopefully, this let's me better understand why people join MS and what the goal should be for MS to strive to be in the future. Also personally realise what I value most in MS instead of just for the 'enjoyment' factor.

Carry on the 61st's actions of shura being more engaging with the community, rather than a shadow figure. Maybe from different platforms instead of just LES
