Covered wagons carried many things from bonets to dried mango. 
It was smooth sailing until they hit the Rocky Mountains.Taking the wagons up and down the mountain was hard work.
Other than the Oregon Trail, there was also the California Trail.
The Oregon Trail was the most used wagon trail of all the trails.
