Sara Fortis made an all women group of resistance fighters. They went on many missions to stop the terrible fighting and to save people. Back then women weren't known to fight, so the men got most credit.

Life before the war

Sara knew that her and her mother were going to have to move before the Nazi came and took over. She was born in a small town in Greece. Once she got away from the Nazi soldiers she got invited to join the resistance and she accepted.

Sara and her team were in the back of a truck. There were many people in it and they were all part of her resistance group. She was the leader of her group and they all worked together to save people and to end everything around them.

Even though she was a girl she knew that what was happening wasn't right and she wanted to be heard. Sara didn't want to have to go into a ghetto and she didn't want people to live in the ghettos. Instead of getting caught and causing an even bigger problem she smuggled people out. She grew her group to fight against the Nazi and it was amazing and they saved many lives.

The women did most of the missions but because of how they were treated back then all of them men got the credit. The men got most of the credit for the girls work and that was not the right thing.

Sara was wanted because of what she was doing so they sent an officer to try and catch her. But they got the wrong person, they ended up capturing her cousin and were treated brutally. She then got revenge on them for doing that too her cousin.

Sara knew that the Nazi's were coming so her and her mom left so that they wouldn't have to go in a ghetto. Everything started getting worse and the area they were in was starting to get terrible because of the Nazi. No one was treated fair and in you were in a ghetto nothing was clean they were treated terrible.

Smuggling
