I learned a lot more about the time line of womens rights and its relation to the pre-industrial & industrial society, as well as the time line of the enfranchisement & assimilation of the FN’s community in Canada. Also info about families and divorce rates in Canada.

We learn everything from our environment and nurture, people are not inherently bad or good but are taught how to act based on others actions, reactions, culture and societal norms.

I really loved learning the concepts of sociology and how muchhh society influences us. The hardest fact is that society is man made. I usually don’t like group exercises but in this class it was super fun because it was super energetic and woke me up. The professor is always happy and ready to teach. She is super engaging. She made the class super easy and relaxed which I enjoyed the most

This course was very interactive and informative in all aspects. It gave me a good base in Societal norms and values and it also taught me how to be a holistic individual.

I enjoy this course. The slides are informative but very organized. Those theories let me understand the sociology better. The knowledge that we learned through the course made me reflected on the society that we live now.

The course was a really beneficial and exciting experience for me. It gave a glimpse into different angles of society and also taught many interesting things. Our professor, 'Momo' has a beautiful heart and great teaching skills.
