I chose coronavirus because of its incredible adaptability, it can modify its receptors to survive and thrive in multiple species ! In the same way, I see myself as someone who embraces change and adapts to new challenges, always finding ways to grow and improve. I choose lyssaviruses like rabies because it has close to 100% mortality, and I strive to reach 100% in what I do, just like rabies :)

I would describe my friend Cassandra as Varicella-Zoster Virus , quiet and unassuming at first , but when the time is right , she will make a lasting impression on your life , this proven that one does not need to be loud to be impactful and powerful , something the subtle action behind might change the tides of the game.

I choose the Avian Influenza Virus (AIV) for my class mate Irma — mainly cause her favorite food is chicken 😍. But the truth is, she might seem a bit shy and quiet at first, similar to how some AIV strains go unnoticed. But when the right time comes, her excitement spreads quickly! Whether she’s talkin about poultry health or enjoying some fried chicken 🍗, Irma is always connected to birds in some way. Just like AIV is linked to birds, you can always count on Irma to be super passionate about poultry.

I chose the Rabies Virus for my friend H’ng Chee Fei because she is a talkative person, much like how the virus spreads through communication. The virus also affects the brain, just as her actions always leave an impact on my mind. Moreover, she is fearless and relentless—just like the Rabies Virus.

I choose Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) because it resembles me who is a person that is very active and loves to move around and going out. Like CDV, it spreads through the air, direct contact and even through contaminated objects. CDV also can be deadly if not controlled, which it can cause respiratory, neurological and digestive issue. I also most probably going to effect others if not controlled as usually I always being told to calm down by my close friends 🤣. I'm also a tough, highly durable and also the most long lived person in the class just live CDV that has been around since 17 centuries, adapting, surviving even the vaccines try to stop it.

The virus that resembles my friend Yasmin Syamimi Binti Fakhrul Anuar is Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) because she is very quiet and introvert. FeLV doesn't always cause symptoms immediately. Many infected cats can live for years without showing signs. She also speaks with her mind, just like FeLV, when the time is right such as during the immunosuppressed, it can cause severe diseases like anemia or cancer. Yasmin actually quite talkative around close friends and FeLV, it spreads mainly through close social interactions such as grooming, sharing bowls,etc. Just like how Yasmin opens up only to trusted people.

A virus that I think represents me the best is the Rabies virus 🦝 People find me hard to approach and scary which is usually associated with people's view on the virus. I also take time to open up to people similar to how this virus stays dormant for a while before showing the symptoms. When I do open up, I tend to be more blunt and unfiltered just like how when the virus activates, it becomes aggressive.

As for my friend, Nur Ain, I think she is like an Influenza Virus, more specifically H1N1. This is because this virus is very strong and cannot be controlled easily, much like how she is with her stubbornness and strong willed nature. The virus also rapidly changes to survive and adapt, similar to how she is quick to learn from mistakes and improve herself.

I would most likely describe myself as the Measles virus (MeV) since I’m enthusiastic, helpful and caring. MeV is know for its high infectivity, just like how my enthusiasm spreads effortlessly to those around me. It is also persistent, like my dedication to helping those in need. Moreover, the MeV triggers immune response that provide lifelong immunity, like how my caring nature leaves a lasting impact on the people and animals i help.

A virus that resembles my coursemate, Chan Poh Jun is Ebola virus. He is fearless, smart and diligent. Just like the Ebola virus, it is bold as it does not hesitate to make an impact. The virus also works efficiently and persistently to achieve its goal, like him who is focused on his goals all the time. The virus is also smart, adapting quickly to different environments, like how he navigates situations with intelligence and strategy.

I’m an introvert and less talkative when meeting unfamiliar people, so I would describe myself as Canine Parvovirus, which is hidden and becomes powerful after being polished over time, just like the virus during its latent period. I tend to be an observer, willing to engage and make an impact when needed. I hope to be as resilient as parvovirus in this harsh world. No matter how many times life knocks me down, I believe I can get back up again and again.

My friend, Joey is similar to Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). Just like FIV causes a slow-progressing impact, her caring and friendly nature leaves a deep, lasting effect on those around her. She might not always vocalize her own struggles, but she has an inner strength that allows her to keep going.

If I am a virus, I would be Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). I am quiet and shy at the beginning just like how FIV may infect the host slowly and asymptomatically at the early stage but once adapted, I am the most resilient, enduring and efficient.

A virus that best to describe my friend, Looi Roc Inn is coronavirus. He is as versatile and adaptive like coronavirus. Despite the presence of vaccine, he is still able to evolve to strive in harsh surrounding. He catches every opportunities to make himself shine like how coronavirus able to spread quickly through the air droplets.

Now, let me introduce my friend Hao. If there is any virus that fits him, it’s got to be the rabies virus but not because he’s dangerous but Rabies is fast acting, sharp, and straight to the point, just like Hao, who is super smart, a quick learner, and always ahead of the game. He picks up new things at lightning speed (frfr) and has this quirky energy that keeps things interesting. You never know what he’ll say next, but it’s always something clever #lanjeplis

I chose the Poxvirus because this virus affects different species, just like how I love exploring different types of food! Whether it's new experiences or new flavors, I enjoy trying things that help me grow😋🍴.

For my friend, Nur Ainun Zahirah binti Zahir, I chose the Cytomegalovirus (CMV) because, like this virus, she is always around but usually do not cause any harm. She’s chill, easy to be with, and always says yes to going out.🦸‍♂️

If I had to pick a virus that represents me, I'd go with bacteriophages. They’re viruses that can infect bacteria which are efficient and only activating when necessary. Kind of like me. I prefer to stay on my own, but I step in when needed.

For my friend Regina, I'd compare her to norovirus. The virus spreads quickly among people, just like how she easily joins conversations and makes sure no one feels left out. Norovirus works intensely but doesn’t last long, just like her attention span since she’s attentive with friends but easily loses focus in class 😇🙏🏻

After looking around, the virus that relates to me is the Hendra virus. It is rare but highly impactful, spreading from bats to horses (I was born in the year of horse too) and occasionally to humans. Like me an INFJ, it operates quietly in the background and isn’t widely known, but when it does emerge, it demands attention. It’s not aggressive in nature but it has a certain mystique like that lol.

For my buddy, Siti Nur Adrianna Zulaikha, I would say the influenza virus might be a fitting choice. Influenza is known for its rapid spread and boldness and it can go from zero to full force quickly, much like how my friend steps up when the situation calls for it. The flu is adaptable, constantly evolving, much like her who knows how to adjust and take charge when needed.

For my friend, Ain Kamilia, on the other hand, is Canine Distemper Virus (CDV)—but not in a loud, always-in-the-spotlight kind of way. She’s not the type to constantly be surrounded by people or talking all the time, but she’s incredibly kind and always there when you need her. She’s the one who never gets tired of helping others, especially when it comes to studying. No matter how many times someone asks for help, she’ll patiently explain things over and over again. It’s like she has endless energy and dedication, much like CDV, which never stops adapting and spreading its influence. She’s also determined and hardworking, always pushing through challenges without giving up—CDV is just as persistent in navigating different environments. And let’s not forget her quick thinking and problem-solving skills—she always has a solution, just like how CDV adapts to different environments like a pro. 🫶

I chose Lassa Virus because of its subtle yet powerful presence. Much like the virus, I believe in gradual growth, taking my time to develop my skills and evolve. Lassa virus is known for its quiet yet impactful spread, and I feel the same way about my interests in art, and nature—I thrive in solitude, where I find inspiration to create and reflect. Just as the virus adapts and progresses, I also embrace change, allowing my passions to guide me toward new challenges and personal growth.

I chose the Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) for my classmate, Anika Lee, because, just like the virus, she may seem confident and composed on the outside, but she’s actually pretty timid and sensitive underneath. People might think she’s shy and quiet, but in reality, she’s talkative and lively once you get to know her. Just like the virus, she can surprise you with her depth and vulnerability when you least expect it.

My name is Sharifah Laila Soraya Binti Syed Yusof from Penang! So the virus that best describe me i’d say it’s Equine Herpesvirus. Why so? I would say because I’m deeply rooted and persistent to my passion(s) and to my loved ones. Even if things get tough i’ll stick around and won’t just fade away just like EHP😁 I’m silent but impactful as I don’t always express my emotions outright but people tend to say my presence and actions carry weight just like how EHV lingers unnoticed but yet still affects things profoundly. I’m able to push through struggles and adapt quickly to different environment. And lastly because i’m very passionate about horses ever since i was a very little kid and spent my whole live surrounded with horses and EHV is literally an equine virus so enough said.🐴🐎

As for my friend Syarah, I think the virus that best describe her is the Influenza A Virus as she keeps coming back in a predictable yet oddly endearing way. It’s hard to persuade her to go out. Just like flu outbreaks which comes in waves especially during certain seasons. She just doesn’t randomly appear anywhere randomly. Planning to meet her will need meticulous planning. The right place, time and environment. Fierce but soft inside. Looks aggressive but once you get to know her she’s not that bad. Just like Influenza A which at first glance may seem scary and unapproachable but once you get used to it. You realize she’s just doing her thing. She is firm in her opinion. Just like Influenza A mutates but still remains true to itself just like Syarah. She’s not afraid to voice her opinions out and stick and firm about what she likes. She is very predictable especially in her choices of food. She will take time looking at the menu only to order the same food and drink. Just like the flu symptoms and treatment that always stay the same. A virus strain that never surprises anyone. She’s a great friend once you get to know her. Very reliable and familiar just like the virus. ven though Influenza A comes and goes, you always know what to expect just like her. She may seem unsociable at first, but once you get close, she’s a familiar and comforting presence.

For my friend, I chose Nur Aisyhah as a Rabies virus, because of her loud and expressive personality, which is equivalent to the rapid symptoms that are caused by the Rabies virus. Just like how rabies take over quickly, she always has the energy to express herself that fills the room. She makes sure no one feels left out by bringing people together and always has crazy ideas that are unexpected. Just like how rabies can cause sudden changes in behaviour, making it unpredictable and uncontrollable. Rabies virus can spread relentlessly, which reflects how she is always there for you whenever you need help.🐶 

For my friend Aisyah Azmi, I chose Dengue virus because it represents strength hidden beneath a calm exterior. Though silent at first, it carries immense power, just like my friend—strong-willed and resilient, yet kind and compassionate at heart. Dengue affects millions, but it’s not just about the harm it causes; rather, it reflects endurance, survival, and the ability to persevere even in tough conditions. Similarly, my friend stands firm in the face of adversity while never losing their warmth and kindness ♡♡♡♡

If I had to compare myself to a virus, I’d definitely be Norovirus—easy-going, adaptable, and impossible to ignore. I thrive in any environment, whether it's a quiet gathering or a chaotic adventure, and no matter where I go, I make my presence felt, sometimes dramatically! Fearless and resilient, I bounce back from challenges just like Norovirus survives extreme conditions. I bring energy to any situation, turning even the most ordinary moments into something chaotic and unforgettable. If I had to compare my friend Srinivaas to a virus, he’d definitely be HIV—but not for the reasons people usually think! Like HIV, he’s sneaky, funny, and always keeps people on their toes with his unpredictable humor. He moves through life with confidence, never rushing but always strategic in how he makes an impact. He’s the ultimate loverboy, smooth and charming, always at the center of attention. And just like HIV has been studied for groundbreaking medical advancements, Srinivaas somehow always finds a way to be helpful and resourceful, whether in a crisis or just hyping up his friends. He also tries way too hard to be macho, constantly proving himself, but deep down, that’s just part of his charm. Love him or hate him, one thing’s for sure, life is never boring when Srinivaas is around! 😎

The virus that represents my friend, Nurul Aqilah Binti Azmel is Norovirus because she is always laughing at things that I say, even when I don't think they are funny just like how the virus spreads wildly in unpredictable ways. The virus is fast moving and unpredictable in outbreaks just like Aqilah, that she is indecisive, constantly switching between choices. She is a great listener and absorb everything but when it comes to spilling the tea, she releases it all at once, just like how Norovirus suddenly erupts in outbreaks with full force! Btw, her presence in a group is chaotic but fun, same as Norovirus, once she starts laughing, it's impossible to stop!

My friend, Zelya, would be most similar to Hepatitis B Virus (HBV). She has a firm stand on what she believes and won’t be easily influenced by others, just like how HBV is one of the toughest viruses that is able to survive outside of the body for days and resist many environmental challenges. She also completes her tasks and responsibilities with excellence, no matter if it was done earlier or by the last minute which reminds me of how HBV is a persistent virus that efficiently infects liver cells and establish long-term presence without making mistakes in replication which I believe that is the key of her being a great person everywhere she goes.

My friend, Najihah is like the Marburg virus, closely related to me, the Ebola virus, but with their own unique qualities that complement mine. Just as Marburg and Ebola share a strong bond as close relatives in the Filoviridae family, my friend and I are pretty similar so I like to think we share a natural connection from the start. Just like how the virus quietly spreads and leaves its mark, her acts of kindness ripple out, touching everyone she encounters. She is always putting others first, ready to help without hesitation, and her compassion spreads like an invisible force, making those who are lucky enough to know her feel supported, cared for, and valued as she approaches everything with a desire to contribute and make things better for those around her. If I were to compare myself to a virus, it would be African Swine Fever Virus (ASFV). A person that is resilient, persistent, and impossible to eliminate. Just like how ASFV survives in harsh conditions and keeps coming back, I thrive under pressure and find ways to succeed even when the environment is against me. No matter the setback, I adapt, rebuild, and come back stronger. ASFV has no cure, and neither does my determination.

To compare my friend to a virus, It's definitely going to be Equine Encephalitis Virus for Srinivaas. When he speaks he always tries to explain things quickly but ends up tripping over their own words, making their explanation more confusing than helpful. Just like how Equine Encephalitis Virus affects brain function and coordination in horses, this person’s thoughts and speech don’t always sync up. They start off strong, but somewhere in the middle, words get jumbled, sentences collide, and by the end, no one including them knows what they were trying to say.

For my friend, Nurul Najwa Syafika, I see her as Baculovirus, a virus that primarily infects insects and uniquely manipulates their behavior. Similarly, Najwa is an incredibly imaginative and artistic person, always coming up with new and innovative ideas. She has a natural talent for art, design, and anything creative, making even ordinary things look extraordinary.

I would be the Canine Parvovirus, because it's a virus that's known for its resilience and adaptability. Just like Parvo survives in tough environments, I strive to stay strong and adaptable in different situations whether in my studies, leadership roles or daily life.

The virus that resembles my friend, Daniel Aiman is Feline Calicivirus (FCV) for his resilience, adaptability, and his ability to always make an impact! Just like FCV spreads effortlessly, his energy and presence fill every room he walks into. Next, my friend, Qameelia. If she were a virus, I believe she’d be FeLV—Feline Leukemia Virus. She loves cat the most, reminds me with the host of this virus. FeLV spreads through close bonds, just like how Qameelia values deep, meaningful friendships over surface-level ones.

She’s not the loudest in the room, but her presence is steady and lasting. FeLV affects each cat differently, and Qameelia is the same—she adapts, knows when to engage, and when to just observe. FeLV also persistent like Qameelia. Once she cares about something (or someone), she’s in it for the long run.

If I were a virus, I’d probably be an RNA virus, constantly adapting, learning (mutating), and finding new ways to survive and be effective! Maybe something like a lentivirus, which is persistent and determined, or a paramyxovirus, known for its ability to spread efficiently while still being cooperative.

And for my friend, i would say retrovirus might represent Shurim well, he's always there, integrating into my life (just like how retroviruses integrate into host DNA), persistent but in a way that shapes my character. He might be a bit annoying, like how retroviruses can sometimes stick around even when you don’t need them, but he’s ultimately helpful and supportive, constantly working in the background to make sure i am okay.

If I were a virus, I’d be Nipah virus. Moving across different species and environments, reflecting my adventurous spirit. It doesn’t just stay in one place much like how I constantly seek new experiences.At the same time, it requires close contact to spread, mirroring how I value deep and meaningful relationships rather than just surface-level interactions. Nipah may be intense, but it leaves a lasting impact. At the same time, it’s complex and not always easy to predict.

Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) reminds me of Savithrii because EBV establishes lifelong presence in the body and influences the immune system, my friend has a strong yet steady presence that makes a lasting impact on everyone she meets. She’s adaptable, well-connected, and can work with anyone.

My friend Aleya would totally be Canine Distemper Virus (CDV)! Not because she causes disease (of course not!), but because she’s always there when I need her, just like how CDV spreads through close bonds and thrives in strong social connections. She’s super adaptable—maybe a little clueless at first, like a virus figuring out its new host—but once she gets the hang of things, she learns fast and fits right in. Plus, CDV has an immune-boosting effect in recovered animals, just like how she makes me a better person. And that first impression? Let’s just say, like CDV, she might look a little stuck up at first, but once I got to know her, she’s pure warmth and loyalty!

If I were a virus, I'd be the Zika virus. Sounds funny, but guess what? I'm adaptable, quick thinking, and I make an impact wherever I go. Zika spreads efficiently and thrives in different conditions, just as I navigate challenges and adjust to new situations with ease. It may seem unassuming, but it is persistent and effective, just like me when I set my mind to something. No matter what comes my way, I stay focused, resilient, and always find a way to move forward. 🦸‍♂️💪🏼

For my friend Zaza (Nur Zafira Zamani), I'd pick the Enterovirus. It's small but super active, just like her! Enteroviruses spread fast and adapt quickly, matching her energetic and smart personality. Whether it's in class or daily life, my friend is always moving, always thinking, and always bringing a chill but sharp vibe just like Enterovirus in action! She's also a kind loving person which is very slay of her. 💅🏻❤️

For my friends, i choose Ros and Dayah. For Rosnadia i’d choose Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV).

EBV is a virus that stays in the body for life, just like how Ros' wisdom and presence never fade. She is thoughtful and observant, always paying close attention to everything around her. Like EBV, which quietly spreads without being noticed, Ros takes in knowledge and understands things deeply. Her advice influences my decisions in a subtle but lasting way. Strong and independent, she is resilient—just like this persistent virus. For Hidayah i’d choose Human Cytomegalovirus (HCMV). HCMV is known for its ability to stay dormant but always be there when needed, much like Dayah’s selfless and protective nature. This virus is often linked to maternal instincts, just like how Dayah is always looking out for others with kindness and care. Even when unnoticed, it plays a vital role, mirroring how she is always there to have your back, offering warmth and unwavering support.

I choose Avian Leukosis Virus (ALV) to resemble me because ALV tends to act quietly and gently without drawing too much attention to itself, similar to how I might have a more shy and reserved personality. At first, people might not notice me as much because of my quiet nature, but once they get to know me, they discover how warm, kind and reliable I am. Just like how ALV creates a long-lasting presence, I leave a meaningful and lasting impression on those who get close to me. My quiet strength and gentle energy make me someone people feel comfortable and safe with.

As for my friend, Aisyhah, I would describe her as Norwalk virus (Norovirus) it is because just like how norovirus spreads effortlessly through close contact, Aisyhah’s positivity spreads through her bright smile, her carefree attitude, and the way she makes everyone feel at ease. If you’re feeling down or stressed, all it takes is a few minutes with Aisyhah, and suddenly, you’ll find yourself laughing and feeling lighter. Her happiness is infectious in the best possible way which it lingers even after she's gone, leaving behind sense of warmth and positivity.

Another virus that represents my friend, Savithrii Pillay is the Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) 😮. I know this is an unusual choice but this virus represents Savi because it is known for being persistent - just like Savi who always takes on many roles and responsibilities while handling them consistently. It doesn't get easily eradicated, symbolizing endurance, the ability to carry on through various challenges, and the strength to maintain balance even when things become overwhelming.

The virus that best describes me would be the Canine Distemper Virus. My first encounter with this virus left a lasting impression on me during my internship at NWRC. A Malayan tiger had been reported and captured due to abnormal behavior, and it was later diagnosed with Canine Distemper Virus. Unfortunately, the tiger didn’t survive. This case fascinated me, not only because of the virus’s impact on wildlife but also its ability to alter behavior in such a striking way. Just as this virus made an impression on me, I like to think I make quite an impression on others, especially given that I’m currently pursuing my second degree. Canine Distemper Virus is also known for infecting a wide range of carnivore species, showcasing its versatility. Similarly, I pride myself on being adaptable, able to blend into different groups and social circles with ease. And, of course, there’s the name itself ‘distemper’. Let’s just say I have my own temper too, but hey, who doesn’t?

As for my friend Naddy, aka Nadiah, I would describe her as the Parvovirus. When I think of Parvovirus, I immediately think of cats, and Naddy loves to bully my cat, Mekcha. Ironically, she has asthma but still insists on being around cats, like a true rebel.

Parvovirus is also known for causing vomiting, diarrhea, and loss of appetite. The word appetite makes me think of Nadiah because she’s incredibly generous when it comes to food, whether it’s sharing, offering, or making sure no one eats alone.

But most importantly, Parvovirus is strong, persistent, and doesn’t care what anyone thinks, it does what it wants, just like Nadiah. And of course, just like how the virus can cause loud side effects, her asthma machine definitely makes its presence known. But hey, as long as it helps her breathe, we’ll let it slide.

P.S. The viruses that I chose are the ones I am familiar with, so I am very eager to study virology to learn about other viruses!

The virus that best represents me is Rabies virus. Just like how rabies has a long incubation period, I tend to observe and keep my emotions to myself before expressing them. At first glance, I may seem serious, quiet, or unapproachable, but once I feel comfortable, I become easygoing, talkative, and expressive. Almost like how the virus suddenly manifests after staying hidden. Rabies is also highly persistent and follows a clear path, just like how I stay determined and focused on my goals. When I set my mind on something, I won’t stop until I achieve it. Another reason rabies represents me is how it stays controlled for a long time but can turn aggressive if triggered. I am patient and composed, but if provoked too much, I will eventually explode. Despite its dangerous nature, rabies is a powerful and fascinating virus, much like how my personality has layers that people don’t always see right away.

For my friend, I think Soraya resembles Canine parvovirus (CPV). Just like CPV spreads quickly, she easily makes friends wherever she goes. She is always full of energy and excitement, making even the most boring tasks fun. No matter what situation she is in, she brings a lively and positive atmosphere, making it hard not to be influenced by her enthusiasm. One of CPV’s key traits is its resilience. It’s tough, persistent, and never gives up, just like her. No matter what challenges she faces, she pushes forward with determination. Even when things get difficult, she refuses to be discouraged and always finds a way to keep going.

I would say I’m like the Influenza virus—I’m usually active and dedicated to my work, but when I get lazy, I completely shut down and do nothing, just like how the flu can suddenly hit and make someone stay in bed all day. But when I’m in my best state, I’m always engaged and full of energy, just like the flu spreading rapidly in peak season!

As for my friend, her name is Wan Nur Aisya Maisara where she resembles the Zika virus because she spreads laughter everywhere, just like how Zika spreads easily. Her humor is contagious, making people around her feel comfortable and happy. She also understands me so well, just like how Zika can adapt to different environments. Most importantly, she never gives up on her dreams, showing resilience—just like how Zika, despite challenges, continues to persist in different regions.

She once did a dancing trend on tiktok called “Any Song Challenge” by ZICO. So the virus, Zika and Zico is very similar that they reminded me of her when I heard Zika Virus (≧∀≦).

If I could choose a virus to represent me, I would be Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV). Just like how I prefer to stay unnoticed, BVDV can exist silently in cattle as a persistently infected (PI) carrier, remaining undetected for months or even years. It doesn’t make a big presence unless triggered by stress or immune suppression, much like how I only step into the spotlight when necessary. Even though it stays in the background, it still has an impact, which is how I see myself—quiet, introverted, and preferring to be unknown, yet still leaving a mark in my own way.

For my friend, Laili Jumueiah Binti Abdul Razak. If she was a virus, she would be Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV). She is full of energy, talkative, and always making her presence known, NDV spreads quickly among birds, causing vocalization changes and increased activity. This virus doesn’t stay silent, it makes sure it’s noticed, much like how she brings life to any conversation. NDV is also highly adaptable, fitting her curious and adventurous nature, always eager to explore and learn new things. With her confidence and high energy, she’s the kind of virus that makes an impact wherever it goes in the best way possible! 

If I had to choose a virus that represents me, I’d say I’m like the Influenza Virus. Just like the flu spreads quietly but leaves an impact, I’m someone who listens more than I talk, and while I’m not great at expressing my thoughts or feelings, I do my best to be there for others—whether it’s through small acts of kindness or just being a supportive presence. The flu can be overwhelming at times, and so can my generosity—I give a lot, sometimes to a fault, and I’m still learning to balance that, especially with my finances. Like the flu, I’m persistent and adaptable. Even when things don’t go as planned or people doubt me, I refuse to give up. I may not always have the perfect plan, but I keep pushing forward, adjusting as I go. And just like the flu evolves over time, I’m still evolving too—figuring out who I am, what I want, and how to grow into the person I hope to be.

As for my friend Hazirah, I’d describe her as the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). At first, HIV is often misunderstood and carries a lot of stigma, and I’ll admit, I didn’t fully ‘get’ her when I heard about her. But as I got to know her personally, I realized she’s my kindred spirits . Like HIV integrates itself into the host and becomes a part of them, she has this incredible ability to connect with people on a sentimental level, making everyone feel seen, valued, and truly understood. She’s the kind of person who remembers the little things and uses them to show how much she cares.

What’s even more amazing is how she influences everyone around her, much like how HIV affects the whole immune system. She doesn’t just focus on her own success or happiness; she actively lifts others up and makes sure everyone thrives together. Whether it’s through her encouraging words or her willingness to lend a hand. She’s the kind of friend who leaves a lasting impact, and once you truly know her, you can’t help but admire her. She’s not just a friend; she’s someone I’m lucky to have in my life.

If I were a virus, I’d be H1N1 Influenza which fast, adaptive, and impossible to ignore. I strike hard, make an impact, and quickly adjust to any situation. Like the flu spreading through connections, I thrive on networking and influencing others while seamlessly integrating into different environments. Constantly evolving and staying ahead, I’m a natural game-changer who never fades into the background.

If my friend, Syarifah Damia were a virus, she’d be the Herpes Virus which are persistent, subtle, and always present. She doesn’t seek attention but establishes herself steadily, relying on consistency rather than constant change. Working behind the scenes, she influences quietly, forming deep connection. Rather than disrupting, she blends in smoothly, making an impact without being obvious. Quiet yet powerful, she’s always there, whether people notice or not.

My friend Lavanyah Suku Maran is an ambivert who values deep and meaningful relationships. She’s the complete opposite of me in certain ways, but that’s what makes her such a great person and an even better friend. If I were to choose a virus that represents her, it would be Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), as it symbolically matches her personality. Just like RSV, which can range from mild to strong depending on the individual, she balances between being social and introspective. She enjoys forming real connections, much like how RSV deeply affects the respiratory system, which is essential for life. Despite her squeaky voice making her seem soft or delicate, she is actually strong and impactful—just like RSV, which is small but persistent.

I would consider a virus that best represents me would be polio as i have a streak of white hair on my head and that apparently is a condition called poliosis, given the similarities in the name and that the condition is harmless I find it hilarious to state to people that I have poliosis without further context to make them think of the virus polio instead of what it actually is.

And for a friend of mine, Daniel Aiman Bin Eddy Rashdan, I've chosen Human Papillomavirus as it is a very easy to spread the virus and how most people have the virus but it doesn't cause any serious issues to them, these traits of the virus represents his easy going nature and how easily he blends into different social groups with his friendly and charming behavior

If i had to choose a virus that represents myself, I think it would probably be Human Immunodeficiency Virus. HIV is very adaptable, evolving to resist treatments, which mirrors my ability to adapt and learn quickly. I also love to try new things and explore new experiences! The progression of HIV is unpredictable, with periods of calm and flare-ups, which reflects my randomness and unpredictability sometimes ahahha

Rhinovirus reminds me of Cassandra. Rhinovirus may appear relatively harmless. However, once it manifests, the symptoms are clear and affects people in various ways, representing Cassandra, while appearing soft, has an influence on close around her, with her quiet wisdom, gentleness, and warmth that shines through over time.

As far as I know myself, I believe the Canine Parvovirus is the best virus to represent me. It is highly resilient, adaptable, and capable of surviving even the harshest conditions. No matter how challenging its environment is, it finds a way to persist. Similarly, I am someone who refuses to back down in the face of adversity. I adapt to challenges, navigate tough situations, and push forward no matter how difficult things get.

At first glance, I might seem like a delicate, soft-spoken, and feminine girl,someone who appears fragile and easily swayed. But in reality, I am far from weak. Beneath the surface, I possess a quiet strength, resilience, and determination that many may not immediately see. No matter what life throws at me, I stand firm, facing obstacles head-on with unwavering persistence. Just like my dad always says, I’m a tough cookie, stronger than I look, and definitely not one to be underestimated! 👸🏻

The friend I’ve chosen to introduce is Farahin (my best friend) because she reminds me of the rabies virus… but in the best way possible! Rabies is known worldwide for its fast-spreading and intense nature. Similarly, no matter where she is, even in a crowded hall, she stands out effortlessly. But unlike rabies, which is feared for its harm, she is recognized for her warmth and friendliness, drawing people toward her like a magnet.

Rabies is also full of energy, unpredictable, and capable of shifting from calm to chaos in an instant. Its enthusiasm is contagious, and once it spreads, it’s impossible to stop, just like her! She’s super calm and focused during classes and study sessions, but once those moments pass, it’s like she transforms into an entirely different person. The class feels empty without her energy, and her absence is always noticeable 😭🫶🏼. She has this rare charm of being both incredibly loud and surprisingly quiet at times, how can anyone not find that endearing?

She might not realize it, but I admire her so much. Balancing fun and studies isn’t easy for everyone, yet she does it effortlessly, excelling every semester. When she sets her sights on a goal, nothing can stop her. Since meeting her, I’ve changed and learned so much, her presence has had a profound effect on me from day one, and it continues to shape who I am. Her determination and influence spread through my life rapidly, just like how rabies takes over its host, unstoppable and transformative. But unlike rabies, which leads to destruction, her impact has only led me toward growth and self-improvement. I’m blessed that we met.

As for my friend Julia Batrisyia, I chose Norovirus because once encountered, it isn’t easily forgotten—just like her creative and caring personality. She’s hardworking and can adjust quickly to different situations, much like the virus. Norovirus is also extremely active, just like how she brings energy and warmth to our friendship. Lastly, she’s brave and not afraid to speak up when needed, even though she’s one of the quieter ones. Just like how Norovirus spreads rapidly, she doesn’t hesitate to take action when it matters.

When talking about Julia, I can’t forget her adorable companion, Urchin🐈‍⬛—a black cat who’s just as unique as she is. If Urchin were a virus, he would be Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). Much like EBV, Urchin is mostly quiet and keeps to himself, but when he decides to act, he can cause a bit of chaos. That's all🎀

If I were to be represented by a virus, the Rabies virus would be a fitting choice.

If my friend (Shamin) were to be represented by a virus, the Influenza virus would suit them perfectly.

This virus is known for making its presence immediately felt just like my friend, who speaks with a bold voice and has an unmistakable energy in any room. There’s no blending into the background here like the flu, they’re loud, expressive, and impossible to ignore.

In short, the Influenza virus reflects their fiery spirit, outspoken nature, and unstoppable energy a force to be reckoned with.
