Hello again! This is the first step to creating a happy, healthy, home for your b.o.t.! Chapters one through ten cover the basics but there is a lot to pack into

CHAPTER ONE: Bringing your Bionically Organic Technology home

You've decided to purchase a b.o.t.. You've gone through the arduous task of creation. All that is left is for your b.o.t. to be delivered. Yay! But what now? Do

b.o.t.s eat human food? Should I feed them after midnight? Do they require sunlight to function? The questions are endless!

To begin, your humanoid pal will need a space of their own, preferably a section of the house, dedicated solely to their discretion. Bionically Organic Technology

enjoy bright, open spaces with privacy. As long as enough attention is displayed, single rooms may suffice. !! DO NOT decide on decor for their

personal areas !! In order for your b.o.t. to adapt and mature properly, they must create their space (See below for common choices among b.o.t.s). Note:

this is a great and fun way to both bond and introduce your b.o.t. to the world!

CHAPTER FOUR: Is it a robot?

Is it a robot?

Nonsense! B.o.t.s are partially human--they bleed, require food, have feelings, and so on. Open figure B-1 to view the internal components of a b.o.t. Essentially, their structure is as follows:

BIONIC

1. Nanomites in the blood streams and marrow to provide excellent immune systems and strong bones (if depressed or mistreated, b.o.t.s can become sick! See chapter twenty for information.).
2. 3/4 of the brain--to reiterate, b.o.t.s require time to process the world, events, etc. of their programmed age. That is to say, a T b.o.t. (chapter 84) of five years would need enough time to "learn" speech, colors, and whatever else is necessary of that age to function. Generally, b.o.t.s twenty-five plus need the same amount of time, ranging from a few weeks to months (no more than two) respectively. During this time, they may hibernate in their own quarters (chapter ten) and be sparsely seen. Due to this, one need not be alarmed if the b.o.t does not repond to stimuli. They are literally booting up their minds.

However, they are not super computers. Intelligence can be affected by their environment. But, b.o.t.s have the abilities to "playback" events, superior memory skills and eyesight, and  possess learning capabilities. Brain injury is irreversible.
