I find it very rewarding, sometimes challenging, but on the whole, so very interesting and worthwhile. You learn a lot about yourself in your journey of volunteering but most of all I personally get a lot out of helping others in whatever volunteering role I undertake. I would say it is in fact a privilege to be able to work with members of the public/service users and I enjoy and value my time as a volunteer immensely.
