My aunt is also named Katherine, but it is spelled differently. My middle name is Marie, which has been a common name throughout my family history. My mother and my cousin all share the middle name Marie. My mom discussed with me that she originally wanted to name me Chloe. While Catherine and Katherine are the most popular variations of the name, Kathryn has becomemore common in today’s society. My middle name Marie is both the Czech and French form of Mary.
