You will be demonstrating use of the imperfect (präteritum or simple past.) Here is what you will do:

In your groups of 3-4 you will use iMovie and create a video notebook demonstrating use of the Präteritum.

So, here is what is required: You can use Doceri to set up each scene by explaining what verb you are using and

what it's Präteritum form is.

Then, film the scene in iMovie or in the camera roll and narrate what is going on. Think about the 2-way prepositions as you use these. You may also want to use

the da/wo compounds. Here is an example:

Doceri clip: Here is the verb gehen. The Präteritum form is ging.

Video clip: Keith ging auf die Bühne. Er sprang auf die Bühne und über Nathan. Er war müde.

Here I used 3 verbs (war doesn't count.) Don't use more than 2 verbs per narration. EVERYONE must participate so no hiding behind the camera.

To give your video gusto, do the following:

Download the app (iTunes123): Action Movie and add special effects to video clips about what is going on. You may also download SloPro (free also) to slow down/

speed up clips. Don't spend too much time on this. Cut the audio out and

relayer it as necessary. The videos for these apps save in the Camera Roll and import into iMovie. :)
