Victor brings his creation to life but is horrified by its appearance and flees. After falling ill, he recovers with friend Henry's help. He then learns his brother William was murdered. Victor sees the Creature and realizes it's the killer. The maid Justine is falsely executed for the crime, leaving Victor guilt-ridden but silent.

Frankenstein went home to find his dear younger brother dead and later on, a friend of their family was accused and hanged to death. Knowing the truth to William's (his younger brothers) death, he was filled with shame and agony for the fault he created, the monster. During one of his long walks, he met the monster, where the monster convinced him to hear him out. Frankenstein thinking maybe creating the monster was his fault. He decided to follow the monster after the monsters deep felt speech, but perhaps that is a mistake?

Victor got a letter from his father saying that Victors brother, William had died. He had been murdered. Victor went to Geneva and when he was began to walk towards his fathers house he saw a figure near the trees where William's body had been found. He saw a monster who ran away. It was the creature he made. After a few months, Victor was climbing a high mountain. He saw something again. A figure climbing towards him. It was the monster. Victor tried to avenge his little brother but the monster didn't try to hurt him. It instead smiled at him. The monster explained he was eveil because Victor turned away from him. The monster explained how he had to learn things by itself because it had no father or mother to teach it anything. It also talked about how it scared everyone it met. It met a family who was poor but nice to it so it stayed there most of the time.

When Victor left for home, he found out his brother William got murdered. He walked to his house through the forest. He saw the monster he created and immediately knew it killed his brother. Frankenstein was very angry at the monster, but it explained its sad backstory.
