I am SO sad that our year had to end the way that it did. It has been a pleasure being your 8th grade French teacher, especially since I taught many of you back in 6th grade as well. You've come a long way and grown up so much. As you get older, the weeks and years will go by faster. Enjoy each day as much as you can and be sure to allow yourself to stop and look around. Life is like an hourglass glued to the table.

Even though today and tomorrow may be different than what you have been dreaming of, it is a day that will be written in history books for eternity. You are part of a class that has so much grit and resilience and will come out on the other end stronger for it. Congratulations!
