My teaching philosophy changed a lot over the three drafts that I wrote. My experiences in observing the classroom helped change my views on my teaching philosophy for the better. This is something I look forward to changing over the rest of my college career

This elder interview was one of my favorite assignments that Dr. McConnell assigned us this semester. I have never seen an assignment like this and I genuinely enjoyed talking to the elder that I interviewed.

Teacher Interview

My teacher interview was by far my most favorite assignment from this semester. I got to talk to my favorite teacher from high school and pick her brain about how she goes about teaching.

Field Experience

My field experiences were some of the best days of the semester for me. I got to observe at Clarion Area middle school and I meant a ton of awesome students. My mentor teacher Mr. Quinn, was a very great teacher and someone I look up to.

My name is Ben Huth and I am a sophomore here at Clarion University. I am from Akron, Ohio and I am on the mens basketball team here at Clarion. I plan on becoming a high school English teacher and a varsity basketball coach after I graduate.
