If the family doesn't show interest and motivation, they won't. Also, they don't have enough confidence to express themselves in Spanish.

I think that UOI is too difficult for them as they don't have independence in the language and they don't have the vocabulary. So, the TL lessons are used to support the vocabulary for UOI. For that reason, we don't have time to work on the basic vocabulary.
