He easily notices the differences between two given pictures and is able to adequately reason as why a picture does not fit with the group. He reads situations well and responds appropriately to visual cues in the classroom environment. His keen observation skills enable him to notice small changes and respond thoughtfully to what he sees around him.

His ability to follow complex instructions and respond appropriately in group discussions highlights his excellent auditory discrimination and memory. Christian takes great pride in his writing and consistently produces neat, well-formed letters. His attention to detail is evident in the precision and accuracy of his letter formations. Christian approaches each writing task with care and enthusiasm, demonstrating a growing confidence and love for literacy. He is an active participant in themed and group discussions, patiently waiting his turn before adding his own thoughts and ideas. During our reading lessons, he was the first to identify the beginning, middle and ending sounds and loved learning the sight words introduced in the last reporting term. Watching carefully as the words learned are put together to form a short sentence.

He maintains a perfect pincer pencil grip, which supports his precision in writing, tracing, drawing, colouring and painting tasks. His body image drawings are detailed and thoughtful, often including creative additions such as flowers and balloons and he enjoys colouring them to match the clothes he is wearing that day. Christian also exhibits strong spatial awareness, orients himself confidently within his environment and follows directional prompts with ease and accuracy.
