- The panel in the middle, no background - makes you focus more on David and the people running after him, there is some very light strokes so you can see the setting easier
- The first panel - motion lines when he falls to the ground
- Open panel - no background to show that he is all on his own,  it's just him and his shadow. 
- The things the people say is written with a very clear and bold writing which really makes it pop.

the dust cloud is really defined, witch indicates that they are driving fast. 

(2. panel): motion lines to show that the mother slams the car door. 
The lines that shows the sound the car door makes, is not as defined as the movement the mother makes. 
This go to show that the mother is really angry. 

(6. panel): motion lines and onomatopeia to show that the mother slaps him.
the drawing of the hand is like a sketch
(slow-mo-effect)
her hand is really defined 
and his face is not.

Whereas the other frames doesn't have a  background, it's just a light grey colour. the second to last frame has a staircase in it. The last frame is all white with a door in it.

panel 1: 
there is motion lines which shows the foot in movement and the crayons flying also give a sense of movement. 

the foot has darker lines than fx the boy, that shows the foot is in focus also because of the dark thick lines around it 
the word mama is also very thick and thats something you notice, so it feels like he is screaming the word

the lack of background are used to create some focus to the image especially on the foot which is darker  than the rest of the image.
