StationMD is a physician service that is dedicated to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) and other vulnerable populations. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of medical care for individuals with I/DD, fostering independence and improving quality of life for our patients and those providing their care.

All of our doctors are specially trained to address this population’s complex health needs, and we are able to treat patients through our simple telemedicine platform.

We are proud to resolve more than 90% of the calls we receive without the patient needing to leave their home setting.

Using a two-way audio and video communication device, the Health Care Assessment (HCA)  service provides a real-time health assessment from a physician, a physician assistant, or an advanced practice nurse to determine the best clinical course of action and help avoid unnecessary emergency room visits

The month-long summer program which runs Monday through Friday, 5 hours a day provides a curriculum that includes academics modified to each child's individual level, field trips for motivation and reinforcement of skills, organized outdoor activities for gross motor and team development, arts and crafts for fine motor skills, music therapy, speech therapy, and daily work in a computer lab. We feel we are unique in the amount of academic practice we offer which the children willingly and enthusiastically complete. We also maintain our community collaborations with the Lorain Public Library and their Bookmobile, the Lorain Police Department and Safety town, the Lorain County Sheriff's Department with their Child Identification Program, the local Metro-parks and we are in dialogue with the owner a therapy dog to come into camp and be with the children.

Special needs children ages 14-22yrs

CHSC offers a year-round therapy program called FACEtime: Fluency, Attitude, and Communication Effectiveness. FACEtime is designed for older children and young teens who stutter and want to communicate more fluently and confidently.

Children and teens in the FACEtime program participate in three individualized therapy sessions per month targeting their individual goals. At the end of the month, they attend one group session with everyone enrolled in the FACEtime program. The group session allows participants the opportunity to practice their fluency strategies in real-life situations. The group will take outings to restaurants and Cleveland area attractions as a way to practice their skills in real-life situations.

Teens who have been involved in FACEtime said: “It is so much fun… I have learned a lot from the group and love meeting other kids who stutter… I feel more confident when I talk and I’m not afraid to stutter anymore.”

What is a Peer Support Line?

We are enrolling youth into the summer program now. You will receive a welcome letter via email with details about the program. In April, we schedule your child’s clinical assessment and complete all enrollment paperwork. Once your clinical assessment is completed we provide you with a handbook explaining all of the details of the program.

Get ready for a great summer at Beyond Healthcare, where children and families heal together!

Beyond’s teen partial hospitalization program (PHP) is an intensive form of treatment for those between the ages of 11 and 17 who require intensive mental health support for complex conditions, or who have experienced a mental health crisis or recent hospitalization.

Teen PHP is a full-day program, held for 6 hours a day, five days a week. Services that are included in our PHP programs include:

• Clinical assessment

• Psychiatric & medication assessment

• Medication management

• Daily education/tutoring

• Group therapy

• Individual therapy

• Family sessions

A mental health assessment at Beyond is essentially an interview between your adolescent and one of our friendly mental health professionals. It may include a combination of verbal questions and written questionnaires. We’ll likely look at things like:

• Mental health history

• Home life

• Medical history

• Symptoms

• Behavioral concerns

• Goals

Our staff will then take all of this information and determine the right additional questions to ask for making an accurate diagnosis.

Make summer a time of fun, adventure, and discovery for your child or young teen. Enroll them in one or more high-quality summer STEAM Camps for an immersive experience where young minds can explore the wonders of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Each camp is packed with project-based learning, interactive workshops, and a hands-on approach to prevent summer learning loss. Twice weekly field trips build their sense of adventure, and fun opportunities abound to enjoy the company of other campers and grow and display their talents.

Each of the four 2-week STEAM Camps are planned and led by a State Board of Education Certified Teacher and supported by three Camp Counselors with backgrounds and experience in child development. There is a limit to 20 campers per session.

Creative Living Life Steps Camp is an educational camp with a therapeutic component designed to meet the needs of children (ages 8 and up) and adults with cognitive and functional disabilities, and to provide respite for their caregivers. Nestled on 38 acres of scenic property at the Lodge and Treehouse within Creative Therapy Ranch, located at 5200 Lakes Rd., Medina, Ohio, our program offers a refreshing escape into nature.

We offer 10 weeks of Summer Life Skills and Recreational Day Camps, as well as Camps during School Breaks, operating weekdays from 9am - 2pm.  Each week is carefully themed and structured to provide a comprehensive range of educational, social, recreational, and therapeutic activities, all under constant supervision. Adding to the weekly adventures, our Life Steps campers will ride twice a week at Creative Therapy Ranch. This PATH certified program is supervised by certified therapeutic riding instructors. Therapeutic riding has many physical, social, and personal benefits, plus it is a whole lot of fun! Our goal is to empower our campers through choices and activities tailored to their individual needs.

The Salvation Army’s Camp NEOSA offers children aged 6-12 the chance to experience the love of Jesus through a unique, fun, and safe camp adventure.

In addition to offerings that include swimming, ziplining, archery, crafts, boating, hiking, and more, campers also participate in character-building activities that benefit them long after their return home. They hope your child can join them for one of their 5-day overnight sessions beginning June 22nd.

If an individual has a Waiver Service Plan, the service plan can indicate what kind of meals they want to have and we will ship according to the service plan.

Clients can choose from our Designer Select Frozen Choice meal options, and are welcome to receive anywhere from 5 to 14 weekly frozen meals.

Once we receive the formal paperwork with their Waiver, we’ll reach out to the client directly to get their meal selections, or we are happy to choose on their behalf if they prefer. Meal planning can work in whatever way best serves the client.

For deliveries to your area:

• Meals ship via UPS on Tuesdays and typically arrive Wednesday before 7 PM.

• Meals come shipped with 7-12 ice packs, depending on the number of meals they are receiving.

• By default, we require a signature at delivery. If they prefer that UPS leave the meals without a signature, they can always let us know.

• We’ll include HIPAA and welcome paperwork upon first delivery, along with a prepaid envelope for return.
