The status quo in the start of my snowboarding career was when I didn't even know snowboarding existed. During this time in my life, I was pretty athletic doing every sport. I was a very ordinary kid living my normal life, until I found my passion in life.

Call to Adventure

The call to adventure in the start of my snowboarding career was when my family and I was planning to take a trip to the mountains, to try out something I have never tried before. This thing that I have never tried was snowboarding. I had to wait a gruesome 6 months to start heading to the mountains, because it was summer.

The assistance in the start of my snowboarding career is when I took a snowboarding lesson with my cousin, so I could learn how to snowboard. My cousin was a very good at snowboarding so I asked him if he could teach me, and he obviously said yes. It took my a while to get the barings of how to snowboard, but I eventually got it.

Departure

The departure in the start of my snowboarding career is when it was time to start going down a slope. When it was time for me to go down a slop by myself, at this point I was tembling in fear. However, I had no choice but to conquer that fear and go down the slope while snowboarding.

The approach in the start of my snowboarding career was when I was sitting at the peak of the slope. When I was getting ready to go down the slope, I took deep breathes and eventually went. I stood up carving back and forth just like what my cousin said to do. While it felt like I was as fast as a falcon, I was actually as slow as a turtle.

Crisis

The crisis in the start of my snowboarding career was when I was heading down the slope. Right when I got the bearings of snowboarding down a slope, a little kid came out of knowhere. Once the little kid came out I knew I was doomed for. I eventually ran into the kid and tweeked my ankle, while the kid seemed unphased.

Result

The result of my snowboarding career was when I got back up after my ankle tragically got tweeked. Since my ankle got hurt and I was in the middle of a slope, I had to toughen up and finish the slope. It took me a while to get down, but I still managed with a tweeked ankle, and the guilt of hitting a kid on accident.

The return in the start of my snowboarding career was when I got down the slope and had to get on the ski lift. After I finished the slope, I had to wait in a line that felt like an eternity. When my turn came around, I realized how do I get off, so another problem comes around. However, I solved this problem by studying the previous people who got off before me.

New Life

The new life in the start of my snowboarding career was when I got off the ski lift. With a tweeked ankle and broken pride, because I hit a kid, I eventually got off the ski lift. After I got off the ski lift, I rushed to find my parents and did, after a couple of minutes. I told them what happened and they could not believe me for some reason.

Resolution

The resolution in the start of my snowboarding career was when I finally had peace after a hard, suffering, mentality breaking day. I found peace that day by staying in the hotel we were at with nice warm air. That was the first time I went snowboarding, but I actually loved it. However, I did not know that I had a long journey ahead of me from getting conclusions and injuries.
