The text states in lines 10-11, "My least favorite of the dried food was the dreaded oatmeal. Neither Ann nor I was particularly found of oatmeal, especially when it was laced with cooking oil to add extra fat." This piece of evidence shows how both Liv and Ann had a distaste to eat the oatmeal. The text also states in lines states in lines 12-14, "It tasted like oat-flavored glue and left an oily residue in my mouth. But it was the most efficient way to make a dent in the high-calorie diet we had to consume each day to stay healthy."

Liv Arnesen's attitude towards eating the oatmeal is digusted. According to the text, Liv says "My least favorite of the dried food was the dreaded oatmeal". This shows that Liv finds the oatmeal to be disgusting and considers it to be the worst of the dried food. Additionally, Liv states "It tasted like oat-flavored glue and left an oily residue in my mouth". This shows that Liv does not like the taste of the oatmeal, describing it to have a taste similar to that of glue and that it left an oily texture in her mouth that she was not very fond of. Therefore, Liv Arnesen's attitude towards eating the oatmeal is to be digusted by it.

In the excerpt from "No Horizon Is So Far: Two Women and Their Extraordinary Journey Across Antarctica" Liv Arnesen's attitude toward eating the oatmeal is negative. This is true because in line 12, Liv states, "It tasted like oat-flavored glue" This states that Liv is comparing the oatmeal to something that is usually inedible or something with a bad texture, trying to show that she doesn't enjoy eating it. As well as this, Liv states, "My least favorite of the dried food was the dreaded oatmeal." This states that Liv dreads the oatmeal and doesn't look forward for eating it, but instead has to eat it to burn calories. Therefore, Liv has a negative attitude toward eating oatmeal.

In line ten of the text Liv Arnesen states "My least favorite of the dried food was dreaded oatmeal." This shows that Liv Arnesens didn't like the oatmeal as much as she liked the other food and every time she would have to eat it she always felt apprehensive. Additionally, in the text Liv Arnesens also states "But it was the most efficient way to make a dent in the high-calorie dirt we had to consume each day to stay healthy." This shows that it was important for Liv Arnesens to eat the oatmeal even if she didn't like it because she needed the calories for her diet. In closing Liv Arnesens, doesn't like the oatmeal but she has to endure it to stay healthy.

Arnesen states " My least favorite of the dried food was the dreaded oatmeal". The use of Arnesen's wording such as the word "the dreaded oatmeal" and "least favorite", illustrates how much Liv Arnesen dislikes oatmeal. Liv Arnesen also states "but it was the most efficient way to make a dent in the high-calorie diet we had to consume each day". This evedince shows how even though she hated oatmeal she has to consume it in order to stay alive. That is proof on why Liv Arnesen dislikes oatmeal, but she endures it.

Liv's attitude towards the oatmeal is unenthusiastic. I know this because she says in line 10, "My least favorite of the dried food was the dread oatmeal." Her using the word "dread" before oatmeal conveys her dislike and hesitance of wanting to eat the food. Another reason Liv seems to feel unenthusiastic about consuming the oatmeal is when she describes how it tastes, or feels, in line 12, "It tasted like oatmeal flavored glue, and left an oily residue in my mouth." Glue is an inedible and thick substance and she uses this word to describe how it felt and tastes in her mouth to show her dislike for the texture it leaves. In conclusion, Liv finds the oatmeal unsatisfactory and shows it through her unenthusiastic attitude from lines 10-18.

However, she doesn't like the taste. The text states," It tasted like oat-flavored glue and left an oily residue in my mouth. But it was the most efficient way to make a dent in the high-calorie diet we had to consume each day to stay healthy." This evidence shows that even though the food tasted awful to her but she still ate it for its benefits. Additionally, the text states," and if we didn't raise our food intake accordingly, our bodies would start to consume themselves." This evidence shows that they have to eat the food to survive in their extreme environment. All in all, Liv Arnesen's attitude towards eating the oatmeal was negative but she realized eating it is important for her survival.

Liv has to consume high calorie diet, there for she has to add extra oil to increase the amount of calories in her food but by the description of the food, it's not one of the pleasing. Also, she state's "Each of us burned between 4,200 and 5,000 calories a day...and if we didn't raise our food intake accordingly, our bodies would start to consume themselves." Liv describes the importance of her taking in high amount of calories for her to stay healthy. Liv Armesen's attitude toward eating the oatmeal is dreadful because in the article "Excerpt from No Horizon Is So Far: Two Women and Their Extraordinary Journey Across Antarctica" it states "It tasted like oat-flavored glue and left an oily residue in my mouth. " This piece of evidence explains that she did not like the oat meal she ate because it tasted like oat-flavored glue and it left a nasty remnant in her mouth. Another piece of evidence to support this claim is "My least favorite of the dried food was the dreaded oatmeal. Neither Ann or I was particularly fond of oatmeal, especially when it was laced with cooking oil to add extra fat." This piece of verification shows that she dreaded the oatmeal more than any other dry food she had. It also shows that she didn't like it in the first place and with the cooking oil being added it tasted even worse. In conclusion, Liv Armesen's attitude toward eating the oatmeal was dreadful.

Liv Arnesen's attitude towards eating oatmeal is negative. In lines 10-18, Arnesen states, "My least favorite of the dried food was the dreaded oatmeal." Which show that Arnesen uses words that are bad like dreaded to describe Arnesen's opinion on oatmeal also saying it was their least favorite. Arnesen also states, "it tasted like oat flavored glue and left and oily residue in my mouth". Which shows how it tastes like like which doesn't taste good as another way the show how bad it is. Liv Arnesen's attitude towards eating oatmeal in lines 10-18 is negative.
