I decided to choose Scenario 1 because it fits in with my life ambitions and what I'd like to achieve in my future. I've always imagined myself thinking up my own home and I would certainly take the opportunity if I was in the same situation as the Scenario.

I've always been a fan of Grand Designs, like Tom and Francesca, and picked up on crazy ideas that i'd love to see in my own home. Its important that its understood that even taking an eco approach to building isnt so much "made of mud" but can still provide you with a beautifully modern and quirky home.

I feel their attitude to sustainability and energy saving is an important one in the way we are growing more concerned with the environment and its important for us to all do our bit, after all, it will only save money and effectively our planet!
