Parents doing work for kids is a problem ... need to move toward more authentic learning activities, rubric grading, etc.

Special education teachers using video chat to help some students.

Parents helping SPED students is problematic ... they aren't always well-equipped for it, they don't always know their kids as "learners."

Allowing students some time to socialize in their Zoom meetings, etc., can be motivational.

We need to move past seat time toward mastery of learning objectives if this goes on.

One participant called out to go to a student's home to fix a cochlear implant!  Repairs hearing aids also.  (Mom is having a high risk pregnancy.)
Wow ... going the extra mile!

Seeing masks is very difficult for some students, especially those who are hard of hearing who are used to seeing lips move.

Autism, hard of hearing = socially isolated to begin with ... no similar kids to play with is a problem.
