Without plants, humans and animals would have less fresh air to breathe. Through the process of photosynthesis, plants release oxygen back into the atmosphere. Plants are also important because they provide habitats for wildlife and humans.

I chose this video because it goes into depth in explaining the process of photosynthesis. Plus the drawings and the details help me visualize what really happens. Sunlight as mentioned in the video does more than keeping us warm, "it provides most of the energy that we and other animals use for fuel."

This website gives information about different types of native plants in Georgia. You can narrow the search from color, height, bloom time to soil moisture and so many more. My favorite one that i found in that website and originated in Georgia is called cross-vine. It's so gorgeous.

I believe that the most in danger biome is the Grassland biome. It has been converted to crop productions, forest plantations, urbanization and other land uses such as energy and mining development. I think this is the most altered and yet the least protected. Animals are losing their homes.

The Neolithic Revolution had various impacts on human population. One major impact was was the rise of civilizations. Farmers were delivering much more food than they required for their families, not every person needed to cultivate, so others had the option to have various jobs. In addition, specialization within society was made possible. This permitted the discovery and improvements of different technologies.

I chose this video because it provides a timeline from how agriculture started to the inventions that came from it. It explains that new agricultural practices were created to help farmers all over the world. Farmers could now eliminate hunger by improving the output and quality of crops. Farmers could now use the same amount of land to grow crops with the new technology that was invented.

The most influential chemical that is derived from a plant is called Aspirin. It is derived from a handful of plants including Salix alba (white willow), Spirea spp. (wintergreens), and Betula spp. (birch). They come from a tree called cinchona tree. Aspirin is a popular treatment for pain, inflammation, and fever. I chose this chemical because when I'm hurting i consume this pill. It was interesting to know where it came from.

I chose this picture because if in the future agricultural, economic, social, and political practices go unchecked I think finding a job would be hard. If we didn't develop an economic sustainability there wouldn't be many business. Communities wouldn't prosper; financially unsuccessful. If we stop developing a sustainable community it would be a hard place to live
