A beneficial skill I have picked up throughout the years are note taking and admitting when I am at loss with the lesson which then allows me to ask either my teacher or classmates for tips on how to further understand the topic. Having the habit of studying a few days before and not procrastinating my reviewing time has also helped me attain good scores on my quizzes and assessments. I definitely had a hard time committing myself to these habits but, I realized it was all for the better, to further push myself to improve in math and to get ready for senior high school as well.

I would say memorizing the various amounts of conjectures for circles was one of the most difficult tasks. It was easy to apply the conjectures to actual problems but whenever I was asked to name it, my thought process would stop there. In order to make it simpler for me, I wrote down these conjectures one by one on a piece of paper again and again. If I was not able to remember it, I would have to redo the list. Another solution would be to give the conjectures certain acronyms which were the first letters of each word.

My misconception would be for permutations and combinations. This seemed tricky for me since the conditions for it to be either permutation or combination were similar. But I was able to get past this confusion through continuous reading of permutation/combination problems along with answer keys. By learning from my mistakes I saw a patter between these two, permutations referred to way different ways to arrange certain things where order did matter, while combinations referred to the number of ways to choose things where order did not matter.

I would say my best work would be the cerebry tasks regarding circles. I personally find any geometry topic quite challenging and given the fact that we were to answer 3 categories for cerebry definitely challenged my knowledge and patience. Being able to complete it till the required level really took a lot of time, that being 2 days, which I am very proud.

Once more, POTN was a collaborative activity for me and the class since there were no other collaborative tasks required of us. As always, some members of the class would gather in the classroom after ORG and wait for the POTN question to be released. We all tried to give our insights and equations as quick as possible but compared to last term a bigger majority of us were not able to submit our answers in time.
